  • Here is a basic installation video of the screen door installation. It took me about 45mins, give or take to install the door. I still need to fill the gap at the top. I will cut a piece of board to fill this as the gap was just slightly too wide for silicone. ***Please note that my door bell is only 24VAC, yours maybe a higher voltage, check your panel before doing any modifications to the bell***.

Thank you for putting this video up. I had to watch yours and another guys channel to get mine up today. I was working in a confined space so it was a bit confusing at times. But I appreciate your time on posting this video up.

I understand what you are saying, but there are other here that watch videos to do their own home repair, so it pays to actually show them, not after you do it because you edited that part out. I watched the video because I was helping a person out, the door that she purchased was was a 78” and it did not butt up because she needed the 81” one. I thought the 78 extended 1” on both sides. I wasn’t sure so I wanted the video. I’m glad you got the right door. And it was an easy installation. But people sometimes get the wrong part. I know how to do repairs and home projects. But guess what old buddy....the wrong door was bought and again it was a waste of time just like reading your comment. I guess you never had an issue huh....master repairman!...

brian santoro ok...but after you make another video...watch it and see if it makes sense to you...or like you said...move on to something you know how to do...I just wanted to learn how to fix the problem...Sorry if I hurt your feelings...take it as constructive criticism...I learn too by those words..

I am pretty sure it does. they are not much of a lock though. I don't think it would keep out a dishonest person besides the fact that the screen is easy to push through anyway. my cat is smart enough to get out through the bottom.

You have to be able to put the sill for this one down. So it would have to be flat enough for that. My guess would be to remove the one that is there

still works good. we get a pretty good cross brease thru our house with it and the screen stays in the track. opens and closes better than our phantom screen on the front. I like the way it doesn't fly open when people not used to it open it.
