Well I have to say that this is one of my all time favourite yachts, a pleasure to walk around, a pleasure to cruise on, and an absolute pleasure to film.
I can hardly believe that so much style and personality can come from an 80' yacht. But here she is: "LARIMAR". If you enjoy watching the video just a fraction as much as I enjoyed filming her she will put a huge smile on your face and make you dreaming of owning her.

This is actually one of the few yeachts that actually look like with a bit of experience you could maintain it and live alone on it, where as other yachts are unnecessarily extravagant and complex
Don't fool yourself, you can't maintain it alone. You could maintain a boat half the size if you really loved maintenance work but not a 24 meter wooden yacht.
@@yarpenzigrin1893 Calling a help every once in a while for this or that is part of what people do living in much bigger houses ... Single handed would be to way too much for any considerable passage ofc but living on in between is a peace of cake if you got the funds.

@@yarpenzigrin1893 even maintain a small boat is cumbersome. Regular maintenance is a daily hassle
well i have a range of educations, from machinist to engineer, and for this kind of work i also have just about any trade education in surface treatment from sand blasting to painting, and i even have some experience in mass surface treatment such as zinc plating and chrome plating.
I have also sailed as a regular sailor and engineer for some years, so yeah i know the game.
BUT ! i am too old to bother with things like that, so for sure i would need help with many things as by now getting on my knees, and even worse getting back up,,,, is somewhat of a problem.
The fact that retro looking yachts are built warms my heart. It's deffo the route I would go.
As others have said, the twin beds in the master does not work for me. But the woodwork is beautiful.

YES it's funny reading the comments and there are people stuck on the twin beds for master.
Have been on a lot of restoration boat projects and the smaller beds are always the retro style.
Gorgeous yacht, I'd have to do something about the two singles in the owner's cabin though.
Or leave the yacht as is, and just acquire a second wife! :D
Fill the space with a sideways California king
You can't fit 4 singles in there comfortably though lol
Take out one bed, you don’t want the she-devil to spoil your time on your yacht
I really like the two sleigh beds there. Throw a queen or king in there and it would look quite odd. You’d spend over $100K on remodelling the area. I guess if you’re buying this, it’s no big deal…🤷🏻♂️

I spent a couple of days on this magnificient yacht, been to a greek island. tasteful, classy, comfortable, safe, pure quality, every detail designed in great harmony... it is one the most beautiful things I have ever seen!
I am extremly jealous now. Beautiful gem this one. Something I can spend on the rest of my life.

Wow! Of all the yacht videos I've seen, this is the finest, most stylish and most desirable. No matter the price. Superbly laid out, designed and styled.
She's laid out in a great nostalgic style and with beautifully planned lounging areas. This little ship is as delightful as she is seaworthy, I literally love the color of the hull and the woodwork is gorgeous! I should think that this yacht could easily be lived on. Thanks for sharing, and I actually believe that the $2 + million dollars is probably quite a bargain.

@@andynorth6161 Doesn't really matter, as the Euro price is mostly equivalent to Dollar. Even if it fluctuates a bit (0.8 to 1.2), you can mostly extrapolate the prices in both currencies.
Love the aesthetic. Wonderful layout. Perfect for a relaxing passage or entertaining a few guests. The woodwork is gorgeous. Everything is understated, elegant, and functional. Many yachts provide the sizzle but Larimar is a fine cut of steak.
Small lounge, huge kitchen with no dining room, ridiculously odd master cabin. I think this thing is all wrong.
Compliments to the cameraman. The entire tour was beautifully shot. This yacht has much more dignity than any of the crass super yachts being built for billionaires.

If you smoke cigars you must go on Deck. "O" my bad I forgot it has excellent ventilation on board. Bring on the south American cigar's my friend. Will sit with you on her any day.
Marmaris is beautiful place for cruising around, stayed around that area for 2 weeks.
Now this is perfect for me, I can just imagine an extended photographic tour of the Norwegian fjords or the Scottish islands, elegance and style personified , I now know exactly what I'd like! Cheers David and thank you for sharing this beauty!

Now, THAT is right up my alley 😊 What a little beauty! And quite 'grown up' looking for her 24 meters. Her hull colour, though unusual in a yacht, fits her perfectly. It reminds me of the fishing trawlers of my childhood (that's supposed to be a compliment). Thank you for the story of her name and colour too. What a pleasure to watch!
I've seen a few yacht designs from Taka, and I happen to like the classic looks. Love the raised wheelhouse and proper windows. A proper little ship this is 😊

This is absolutely stunning. Feels more like a home than a luxury yacht.
Have to say david seeing mostly modern yachts in your channel, this larimar yacht is definitely a throw back to the 40’s and 50’s style jet set of Hollywood or the Mediterranean elite type, it has character and style for those who like to be taken back to that golden age so to speak..
And you know, I'm thinking that it truly must have been The Golden Age!!

I've got to say as beautiful as the yachts designed by this designer are in this class. Scant regard is given to crew accommodation and I can't imagine keeping crew for long on them.
Yes - but at 24 metres its not a long term prop for any crew - 24 meteres you just about do it yourself. Who needs a crew? You do need someone else. Three is ideal. 24 mtrs - its a bit inbetween crew and no crew, but I would want a bed for two !

that 2 bed master is very strange. i couldnt imagine how youd rearrange it for a larger bed given the wood work. that entire vessel is class
Very inspirational design, the woodwork and fixtures are very much 1900-ish to me and could be right our of a Agatha Christie novel. There is some real love in this design. Appreciate the treat of seeing it. That third Crew space looks like the perverbial "apple barrel" punishment, would really have to reno that area, but the rest of the boat is lovely.
Pure class and style. I can imagine taking her out and almost being transported to a different simpler time in history. Stay out long enough and make the world a better place.

PS. It is clear that you strive to be the consummate professional. One consideration is to embrace the meanings of “further “ and “farther.” They are not interchangeable. One speaks to degrees of variation. There other speaks to distance. Many people trip over their actual meaning and usage.

Still, I'm leaning towards "Old Salt" from a year ago, where you showed her lines to us in another great video. If I remember rightly, it was a little larger and had just that little bit more room. Wow what a beauty!
She's an absolute beauty, a gracious lady anyone would be proud to cruise in. She really does look like a classic sailing yacht from the interior and I love those details. And I was so happy to see real portholes... I loathe those windows which have little black-rimmed cutouts that open while spoiling the view through the rest of the window! They're nigh universal among modern motor yachts and they're awful. Nothing like that on this lady! I hope she gets a new owner who will love her and treat her well.

What a beautiful yacht. OMG
Now this the way a ‘true yacht’ should look and be built. A real beauty! The plastic, ugly things built today can’t compare with this masterpiece.
The problem is that if you don't have enough plastic, you just drive up the cost of the yacht. That's why this costs millions and requires a VERY experienced builder. I bet nobody knew that you have to build support and stressed beams in multiple angles to compensate for the force of huge waves in the ocean. In fact, on some ships, they are under so much stress that hammocks rise and fall as the walls expand/contract with the ocean.
