I am so flattered with your comments ! As the builder of this vessel i sincerely thank to all my colleagues who have contributed to the construction of this beautiful yacht 👏👏👏
Do those masts have any sailing function or are they just for aesthetics?
She's a beautiful ship of classic lines. The woodwork looks wonderful. Had I the means to obtain and operate such a vessel I would be proud to sail her anywhere. Now to go check my lottery tickets...
@@johnlloyddy7016 think them are just for the classic old school radar masts look. Like that fake smoke stack 😎 people call it a 60s look but I'd say that looks like its a 1920s wood steamer
Great job. Stunning woodwork.
Sir, you have built a truly beautiful, distinctive, and exquisite yacht. One day I will need to give you a call! For now, I need to get back to work so I can earn that privilege! :)
These "Gentleman's" yachts are outstanding, especially in today's world of excess, point-scoring and vulgarity. They're understated, beautifully designed and the emphasis not being on attention seeking but comfort and exceptional style. It's nice to see an alternative to sail yachts. I'm so glad there's still people in the world who appreciate these qualities and go against the superficial grain.
Now this is my kind of yacht. Simply elegant yet built robustly.
I was stunned by your remark that she was only built 5 years ago as she does have the classic features of the 60's yachts.
Beautiful in a timeless way. Really spectacular.
At first look I thought it was a 60's yacht until he said it was only built 5 years ago. I think she looks better than the garish new look ships. I half expected to see Ernest Hemingway when he walked around a corner as he gave a tour of the ship. Simply a beautiful ship.
Yeah it only goes 13. Thats to make it seem like theres people paddling it like its from the BCs.
Some modern yachts can be a bit.........vulgar.
This yacht is tasteful and timeless.
I appreciate your inclusion of the mechanical and crew spaces. No yacht tour is truly complete without them.
Vulgar... That's a word I haven't heard in two generations. And you're exactly right. 👍
Turkey is In A TIME WARP haver you Ever Been There?
@@davexjs5889 Turkey is churning out yachts looking like sport sunglasses, so I don't know...
Yes. THIS is the kind of yacht I'd like, not some over-tech oversized mega-yacht. My only addition: a large wooden spoked wheel and brass engine telegraph on the bridge. Who care that there's no engineer at the other end of the telegraph. :D
@@donjones4719 A VR wheel and telegraph. Cool.
It’s perfect... Clean, unpretentious, functional, and timeless. Oh those lines... Absolutely beautiful!
Probably the best sales presenter I have ever seen. The spirit of these yacht shines right through the telly…perfect!
I’ve been inside hundreds of yachts in my life and seen (youtube) like a thousand, and let me tell you that this is one of the most simple and most beautiful boat I have seen. congratulations on who ever is buying it.
This is how yachts should be built and presented. Bravo!
Yep, only for the wealthiest on the planet.....
The Turkish Gulet-style yachts, with which this vessel clearly shares a lot of DNA, are so much more pleasing to my eye than the homogenous plastic palaces everyone else seems to be building nowadays. Just beautiful. At 100 liters per hour, I couldn't afford the fuel, much less the purchase price, but she looks to be worth every penny. Thanks for the excellent walk through.
Having viewed numerous similar videos i have to say no one does it better. I especially enjoyed the ship layout drawings. No one does that. Crew quarters, laundry and engine room are a must. They aid a lot towards a buyer considering purchasing. Outstanding!
The vessel is outstanding as well. Well built, well thought out and designed. A very clean and appealing yatch. The crew mess could be more appealing. Its like eating in the engine room rather than a proper gathering and relaxing space for the crew. It's very important to the crew to have a very nice mess. Thats my only fault with thie vessel. The crew quarters were as nice as I have seen on many super yatchs very important when trying to retain talented crew.
The timeless beauty of this yacht is amazing. They rarely make them like this anymore.

I like this one a lot. Coherent in style, clever layout, technological where it needs to be. This is a yacht that would be still pleasant to sail after a century from now.
I’m thinking of my grandfather, and how much he’d have enjoyed this beautiful vessel. Just spectacular.
I was drawn to this yacht specifically because I was tired of viewing the newer state of the art looks. I longed to see the character and solidly built older yachts. What a pleasant surprise to see a fusion of old style with new technology. I would never have guessed. Well done!
"You don't travel to arrive, but to travel." (Goethe)
Comfort and class over speed. I really love it and was always a fan of round sterns. The VIPs are cleverly planned and the interior design leaves the needed room for personalization to add a bit more coziness. A nice carpet here, a bit more fabrics, two Poltrona Frau chairs there..... and it would feel like Hercule Poirot would join the dinner party any moment. Gorgeous!
"death on the Nile."
Superb presentation. It is refreshing to see a rare combination of classy and sophisticated knowledge in yacht presentations these days. Usually they are youngsters whose demeanor is in keeping with the outlandish radical and “ change for change sake” designed vessels they represent. This stately lady was well represented. As for this wonderful vessel, she was ( I think) created as a timeless escape to take her owner to a simpler yet more elegant time for real sailors who love the sea. She does not compete with the primal attraction of the oceans and shores... but rather she compliments that emotion wonderfully. And so, she is quite well named. I confess to being a kindred spirit and my boat is a 65 Hattaras named “Seadog.” I am not a young man and grew up in Miami... so I have a long time addition to sport fishing. We’re I ever to venture back into larger yachts again for distance cruising .... you would already have had a call from me. Sorry for the long winded dissertation but this unique yacht moved me. She will sell quickly to an old sailor!
So many motor yatchs today look like apartment blocks fitted with disproportionate window and strange stylings. This, on the other hand is simply beautiful. Economical, seaworthy, comfortable, easily maintained, the large amount of exterior brightwork notwithstanding, and just a joy to behold.
You can tell this yacht is meticulously maintained! Kudos to an owner who keeps up on a beautiful boat like this. It's a class act.....
Timless beauty. I must say I agree that all these builders adding so many foolish accessories, loading the boat with technology, is a wasted effort. This yacht is a masterpiece of function and basic form. Well done!!!
It is by far the best looking yacht I have ever seen. Good design and structure. Congratulations to the shipyard Aegean Yacht.
Probably one of the most beautiful and tastefully done classic looking yacht I have ever seen. I was happy to see very nice crew quarters too.
A modern yacht with a classical look. Gorgeous. This appeals to me far more than an ultramodern yacht with all the bells and whistles. To me "Olde Salt' just shouts calm and relaxing. Sinan Ozar, you outdid yourself. You should be very proud of yourself.
She's a real beauty. I'm completely impressed at how immaculate she is both inside and out. Beautiful woodwork and varnish! I especially like, as Mr. Seal points out, that there aren't a lot of fancy gizmos or decor to worry about; she's just a solid sea worthy boat that looks to be as comfortable and safe as one could want. If I had the quid and was in the market she'd be hard to resist buying.
More builders really need to bring this classic style of yacht back today. Absolutely stunning and timeless.
Very good presentation of a stately vessel! I worked as a registered nurse for 43 years now retired for 10 years. Needless to say my wife and I did not earn enough to go beyond a canoe with a electric trilling motor. Staterooms on land in a tent. My imagination is rather limited but I do appreciate a clean plan that is well maintained.
I'm so glad someone is showing fine art on here. When I think houseboat, this is what I see. Stunning.
Again, just stunned at how immaculate she is! Kudos to the Captain and crew!
YES, a YACHT that looks like a YACHT not a floating, over blown, over indulgent, over decorated condo . I LLLLLLOVE it!
This gave me some genuine Hollywood chills. 1959. “Some Like It Hot.” Joe E. Brown played the millionaire whose yacht was key to the movie’s plot. And his yacht looked eerily similar. I would buy this outstanding boat and sail past the Hotel del Coronado as often as possible as fitting tribute to a wonderful movie.
Interesting. 1928 fantail motor yacht "Portola"
Most yachts we see these days are for parties, but this is one that is actually for someone to live in!! One of the most beautiful yachts I have ever seen!
Attention to detail is second to none . Not sure about long range cruising . She is absolutely gorgeous . The lines very classic and elegant . Steel hull , what more needs to be said . Lake Champlain is calling your name old girl .
This is absolutely gorgeous, classy, and sexy. The broker is right about the fact that you don't need all those crazy extras to enjoy being at sea. When you pull in to port in this, heads will turn.
Beautiful! Something alike as sophisticated but on sails would be my dream come true ✨❤️ Naturally only a dream 😄
People say money can't bring you happiness. Maybe so, but it can buy a boat like this, and with it, you can sail the world. Maybe finding happiness along the way. I have watched this vid three times in three weeks. "OLDE SALT" is *_exactly_* the ship for me.
Beautiful, classy, and elegant. This understated beauty will last for decades.
If by some miracle I won the Euro Millions, I wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere, I'd be on the phone to the builders and ordering one without even looking, the only thing I'd change is the high gloss woodwork for a matt finish. An absolutely stunning vessel bravo 👏.
Of all of the yachts on this channel, Olde Salt might be my favorite. It is just so beautiful and not a design we see frequently of newer yachts.
Personally I wouldn't go for the high gloss, but everything else about this little ship is really incredible!
Agreed, the high-gloss wood is absolutely not doing justice to the otherwise exceptional design.
maybe ..but it certainly looks clean. I guess a matt varnish could be applied.
I love the High Gloss!
Statin vs Gloss is a personal preference. I usually dislike Gloss on "plastic yachts" but on this one I think it works well here. Timelessly nautical.
It was really my first impression, agreed totally. Low gloss natural looking wood. Anyway she is a dream
Mr. Ozer you, and your colleagues, should be very proud of what is a masterpiece. Whoever commissioned this beautiful yacht has a touch of real class.
PERFECT !! In every way, if I had unlimited funds to commission my own custom yacht, I would build this EXACT yacht with this exact same specs. SO PERFECT. I'm drooling...
Fits my tastes. Too much tech can go sideways at the worst time when at sea. Very impressed by this vessel. If you're proud to own and or work on a vessel says a lot about the owner and crew. Makes your travels all the more enjoyable and enhances a feeling of security and reliability. Well done. Thank you for the tour!
It's all about beauty, taste, restraint, and function. This gracious lady has it all.
Great video, and I think you covered the aesthetic well. I love the uncluttered, wide, round feel of the spaces on this boat. Too many designs try to cram too many... well, just too many things into a square foot of boat to try to tick every imaginable check-box.
You're on a pleasure boat, supposedly trying to relax. You need to be doing that instead of juggling 50 busy features per room. They end up feeling like a gilded rat maze, pushy and constraining. This one gives you the chance to take a fresh breath, even take a step sideways if you like, stretch out and properly let go.
It also reminds me somehow of the Allseas 92 explorers, which are based on classic harsh-weather steel fishing boats. If you ever get a chance to tour one of those, by all means avail yourself. They are similarly homelike, comfortably sturdy, and confidently welcoming long rangers. Victoria and Rico over on the Nautistyle channel got to do an hour-long 2-part review of one, and it was as amazing as it was classic.
Just beautiful simple but elegant who every built this got it right
The styling on this boat is both minimalist and extremely classy as you're focusing more on the craftsmanship of the boat and materials used over bells and whistles.
I could live on a boat like this without ever regretting a thing.
Brilliant presentation. Masterful. Also, the designers/builders of this magnificent vessel are true traditional artists, architects and artisans.
I keep coming back to this video, That is a really beautiful boat.
Turkish yacht builders will make an impact in the world with their new projects, and sales will be a great reference.
This is an example of a timeless classic yacht.
I believe the proper word for such a vessel would be, "Elegance". Her classical, beautiful lines pay clear homage to what is arguably the golden age of yachting, while still retaining a modern interior, layout, and all of the amenities that one would expect from any esteemed shipyard of repute. The contrast between her classical exterior and her modern, luxurious, spacious, yet completely functional interior is sure to enchant any and all to behold her.
What an amazing yacht. Considering the age of the yacht, a standing ovation needs to be given to the owner and the crew for keeping it so well kept. There are very few older yachts that I like, I not only like this one, but love it. I for one don’t mind seeing the breather tubes on the deck, and like you I love the railing. It reminded me of the Aristotle Onassis yacht. Sadly not enough pennies in the piggy bank to afford it.
Pure classic! In a world of clone fiberglass yachts, this beauty stands out. I can see myself curled up on the aft deck, reading the adventures of Hercule Poirot.
They say you cannot buy class ??? On this occasion YES YOU CAN !!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL……. WHO NEEDS ANYTHING MORE !
If I was wealthy I'd buy this yacht in a heartbeat. It's far more elegant in it's understated simplicity than any of the flashy modern offerings I'm aware of. I can picture Hemingway enjoying a pipe and an afternoon of quiet reading after a good long swim.
This classic look is absolutely stunning. I would choose this any day over a "modern" looking yacht.
Spectacular vessel. Far more character and style than modern style yachts
There is just so much character and honesty about this one! Love her to bits! ❤️❤️ Her next owners are very fortunate indeed!
Classic and tasteful. A real beauty. If this yacht was a woman, she would be Catherine Deneuve in her prime. Gorgeous, timeless, worthy of adoration.
Well done sir.
What an absolutely divine yacht. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
"Simple and robust. Comfortable and functional." Well said my good man. Well said!
A beautiful yacht. Elegant and classy. I "tip my hat" to the designer and builder.
A truly wonderful yacht, a little ship, classless, this is the one for us. A very well presented video and one which shows the presenters enthusiasm for Olde Salt. Brilliantly portrayed..

@@derrickzupf7559 Google....Hmmm.
This is a work of art. One of the best I´ve seen, if not the best.
she is a beautiful yacht , moored in my favourite part of turkey . the gulf of gokova . from bodrum all the way down the gulf to akyaka . past cleopatra island . amazing scenery .
Now that is what I call a beautiful yacht. Simply stunning.
Here is a yacht for people who wish to enjoy the sea. Good show.
I’m glad they took the effort to give the crew a beautiful place to call home. Happy crew=great yachting experience
I have to agree with you. There is something special about the simplicity of this yacht. Elegant design and timeless style. Its gorgeous.
She is a gorgeous vessel. I love the classic and clean look.
OMG,this is the most beautiful yacht I’ve ever seen! A classic design. If I was wealthy I would buy her in a minute!
Absolutely stunning yacht!
The reference to an Agatha Christie novel and a time of pragmatic simplicity combined with romantic elegance as well as traditional design are refreshing reminders of peace & tranquility at sea.
We’ll done!
Turkey makes great yatch, built and designed, I have noticed all yatchs that I love, made Turkey.I have noticed! 🤗🤗🤗👍✌️🇺🇲
Touring hundreds of yachts......nice job to have!
As usual, David finds the right approach. This yacht has its own personality, it is recognizable. This sets it apart from many custom built yachts that look very similar. Thanks David.
What a wonderfully restrained interior - the sense of space inside all of the rooms is quite remarkable; quite literally a breath of fresh air throughout this thoroughly classy yacht. And thanx for showing us the engine room and crew accomodation!
I love this boat. I love the classic look and design. It hearkens back to an era long gone...
Finally, a full tour!
Thank you.
There is something about a classic yacht that some of the newer designs lack, personality! Great video and a change to the usual format, more relaxed maybe, anyway, thank you, enjoyed the tour.
Hi David. A mixture of traditional design blended with subtle interior design and a long range. A true quality gentleman's yacht. Great walkthrough video thanks
best yacht I've seen on your channel👍🇺🇸
Simply stunning, classy and very functional...
While these new high tech yachts are amazing pieces of engineering and technology and are stunning to look at with their sharp lines and angles, there is just something about a more classic looking yacht that isn't bursting at the seams with touch screens and other tech. Just simple yet elegant looks and fantastic reliability. Beautiful yacht.
I love that boat! 🚢 Cheers 🍻 to whomever is fortunate enough to buy it!
What a beautiful lady.!Who deserves a lady's name.Clean gorgeous lines with classic style.Well done to the builder and crew who man her.lucky dogs
My sort of boat! Lovely presentation David, thankyou very much.
Just perfect, this would be everything i could want in a yacht, nostalgia, style, speed, range and the ability to put your own stamp on it. Oh i forgot, decent crew quarters, safety, i could just ggo on and on.
You could sail this yacht into Monaco along side a 200ft mega yacht and I know anyone who is a true sailor where there eyes would be, this is a beautiful and very elegant yacht a timeless classic my hats off to the builder keep them coming. The sad thing is most people with money don’t have taste and want something flashy, this would be my dream to own a yacht like this but unless my numbers come up on the lottery it’s just a dream but I can but dream and maybe one day my dreams will come true.
Oh My Goodness what a beauty! Although with just a few adjustments I could very easily turn it from a gentleman's yacht to a ladies.♡
Simply amazing!!! With this COVID-19 around us it just simply answers all our questions, in style! We could sail thru the Great Lakes 3-seasons a year and still not leave. Well done!
Beautiful and old school in its elegance. Reminds me of Cunard's motto from the golden age of the transatlantic ocean liners; "getting there is half the fun."
stunning and minimalist with beautiful appointments. My dream boat.
Definitely my sort of cruising motor yacht and reminiscent of some of the beautifully built Van Lent vessels from the 1960's and 1970's. No mention of air conditioning or of stabilisers though, both of which would be essential in my view. A beam sea in a non stabilised vessel of this size can be a memorable experience! Also, an indication of the hull form would have been interesting. Cruising fuel consumption at two gallons per nautical mile is remarkably low. A beautiful vessel and a credit to both the builder and the owner.
Now THAT is a proper boat tour.! By and far your best video yet of a yacht I absolutely adore. Well done sir! 👍🏻😉🇨🇦
One of the very few yachts that has a soul.
Its a sleepy soul that says its nap time, but no comfortable furniture to be found.
I love the feature of having the walls of the superstructure done in wood veneer; Wedge Too has it as well. I'd scoop this up in a heartbeat if I could. I hope the buyer of this enjoys the hell out of it, it's very stunning and equally inspiring! Thanks for posting!
Very beautiful yacht. You look at the classic beauty of the old steam liners and then look at this yacht you can't help but feel nostalgic.
What a delightful project , those responaible should be rightly proud.
Even the engine room is very spacious. Amazing gentleman`s yacht!
Achingly beautiful. If I had a dream yacht, this would be it. Well, I guess now I do have a dream yacht.
Truly amazing yacht, I honestly did not expect to fall in love with such style... but its classic old school look is stunning!
Great elegance with the interiors (but they could have done better with the bathrooms).
David top 3 yacht expert on youtube as usual, thank you for bringing to all of us these videos!
