In my days as a professional skipper I've had charge of larger yachts, faster yachts and what passes today as more 'stylish' yachts.. but this to me would be my personal dream yacht. Timeless elegance, practical, seaworthy, a faultless pedigree, a true seaman's yacht, I wouldn't even need a crew.
Yes, very true so. If you have a small family and like to cruise without the regular problems of crew and related hickups, this is the one that would fulfill all your need.
There is nothing more elegant and stylish than a classic Feadship. This is all you need in the world 🙂
😮😮😮❤
100% Patrick
Such a beautiful yacht, one you could imagine in a classic 1960's film. Class doesn't age.
What a beautiful yacht. Love the engine room with two old Gardner engines.
What a beautiful and classic yacht, as new. Would make a lovely med cruiser. How cool is being able to view your engines from the saloon.
Oozes with history and quality. What a gem! Thnx for showing
A truly spectacular classic Feadship, with a first class rebuild by Feadship. It does not get much better than this. The topper without a doubt are those Gardiner engines! I would have this in a minute. Well done and well presented.
Really lovely yacht. I remember the first yacht I went across the Atlantic with had a pair of Gardner 8L3B engines. Made for a very relaxed crossing, they were far quieter than the engine room ventilation was.
I had the pleasure to run the original Monara as Captain, she was 65 ft. With Gardeners. I am sure that you are aware of the Greek translation of Monara , it was the subject of a lot amusement. Jack Smith
Darn, now I am intrigued. Googles Greek to English translation is a no go. How would the word Monara be spelled in Greek?
Basically the most beautiful yacht I have seen (in a while). 30 liter per hour for a boat of this size! That's what my 6.5 meter consumes at 25 knots.
What an amazing boat! Love the classic lines and the very high quality of details!
I've watched lots of yacht tours and the "follow along map" of this, just far surpasses any of the other. Great job!
as a Hot Rodder, I LOVE those engines. they are gorgeous! what a good idea to add a window to the engine room in the main salon. now to find one for my next build...
I know right, those Gardner's are beautiful! I'd definitely be polishing that brass and copper tho.😳😊😊
Regardless of being a qualified buyer folks would like to know asking price
She’s definitely in a lot better shape than I am❤
David, what a beautiful classic yacht. Though I would never be able to afford it, it would be nice to at least experience it. Beautiful lines.
This is truly lovely old yacht, that has been upgraded and improved plus given a tactful modernisation too!
Beautiful. Thank you.
Yeah i born 1969 this is so classic yacht and very beautiful🤩👍
I absolutely love this boat, amazing
Lovely David, Just lovely! I'd love to park that in Dark's Bay, Cronulla, Sydney. I could see a few friends wining and dinning the night away carefree...
I love how these vessels get overhauled....and then go immediately to market. Nice vessel.
Beautiful & Timeless…
Such a lovely yacht. I am not sure why the Passarell needs to always stick out. I would have to fix that too inside while underway, but other than that it is absolutely lovely.
She's a beautiful soul 😍
You are a classy gentleman and have looked at all of your videos. Your presentation and information is spot on. Cheers from Illinois.
Absolutely fabulous, one of the best boats I have seen, thankyou!
The boat is beautifully specked and looks lovely, apart from the main lounge. The choice of furnishings looks like a hap-dash mix of the sixties and bad seventies. Otherwise, yes please 👍
Wow... I'm in love 😜🤩🤩🤩
Great video David. Can you briefly comment on the crew accommodations ?
Simply beautiful.
Wow, incredible video for this very special yacht! Nicely done!
Simply spectacular...wouldnt change a thing. 2500 nm would see me cruise down the east Africa coast from Mombassa to Cape town ...perfect vessel for that.
This is truly a beautiful boat 🚢,
Excellent!
That is the most beautiful antique boat I’ve ever seen her and I are the same age
That is one elegant lady. The master stateroom was an amazing one for such a relatively small vessel. I would like to know her sailing range. This is a boat I could see myself using quite happily. Some of those vast magnificent ones seem a bit soulless.
Beautiful !
wuaoooo what a beautiful yacht
Mmmm so if its very resonably priced why is it seen as POA and not shown ?? Think thats a first for you 😶
So beautiful and elegant. ❤❤❤
How much is this yaht?
Stunning! Nothing beats a Feadship other than a classic Feadship.
Super classy boat
Very pleasant boating.
The stairs to the sundeck (0:44) are steep and look very dangerous without handrails!
Spot on!
I was crew on Milabma IV back in 1977. Almost a carbon copy / sister ship of this beauty. Don't have time to look up now but I think they were built one after the other. Can't remember the order though.
Well done.
What a beautiful yacht. The attention to detail in the restoration is obvious. I’m not a qualified buyer but I’m do have a question. I think you said she has a range of 2000 nautical miles. My question is what is her cruising speed. If you mentioned that in your presentation then I apologize for missing it. I was probably lost in the visual part of the presentation.
The cruising speed is 10 knots
She has gorgeous lines.
👍Fantastic 👍
Great promotional video, probably one of the best. Just, the price?
They're playing that close to the vest, so I'm guessing at least $5M. Maybe $10M.
No clue what I’m looking at but that’s lovely
Gorgeous
“Dreams Do Come True”
Amazing
Presumably the price is not so reasonable or it would not be POA. Lol
this yacht feels a lot like mv impromptus that i had the pleasure of involve in a refit in 2006 in north Vancouver bc
I would have liked to see the crew cabins
I love this, livable, manageable and sylish. I could live on this vessel. I would like t see the crew quarters. What is the minimun crew required?
Wow what a Jem.
Good luck finding any parts for those antique engines
Beautiful boat, great Video! :)
I have two questions:
The first one ist directly from the clip: Is it econimicaly viable to own a yacht as a business and not for private use?
The second one has nothing to do withe the clip: Between one and three years ago I saw a video about an older superyacht that has a large promenade deck, I think it was on this channel, but I'm really not sure :/ Do you know what yacht this could have been?
Thanks a lot! Both for answers and the videos you are putting out!
pure style.
Vary nice
This is the perfect motor yacht. I would want no other yacht. Unfortunately my resources limit me to about 2M at the moment… so I can only dream of owning her.
Range? Cruising Speed? Top Speed? Fuel Consumption? Tank capacity?
One would/could expect this kind of information in the video considering the commission will be at a rate commoners would have to work many years for.
very attractive
That's my idea of a classy, ideal yacht
Don't awaken me. I'm having a dream that God himself built me the yacht of my dreams. The ladder that leads up to the sundeck is art I'd be afraid to step on. The woodwork on this beautiful vessel is alive, with a burning warmth that looks natural.
Many of the yacht videos on RUclips show woods that have been polished to the point that they look like plastic. Having been the chief on boats, my favorite feature is the window that shows off the engine room below (and what an engine room she is.
The head that's aft of the master suite leaves me speechless
What a remarkably beautiful vessel.
Thanks
What a warm inviting
Tastefully built boat.
It doesn't reek with hay everybody, look at me.
👍👍👍
I can't see to see this Feadship in person!
Looks like there's a passge from the main cabin to the crew area via the "wardrobe"... I like that. But I'd far rather have Teak decks than all that carpet. I wonder what's under the carpet? Love the Salon/Engine room view....possibly unique among Yachts. If possible I'd extend that brilliant idea a bit more.
Gardener's engines are a work of art.... _form following function_ to provide visual perfection.
Enter any Marina anywhere in the world and all eyes will be locked on you... the 40 and 50 meter yachts shamed by the perfection of their elder sister. So better not screw it up. Dress for Dinner....Absolutely! Revamp the "Sun Deck" to a proper *Boat Deck* with 4 Davits to launch a diesel RIB on one side and a 22 foot sailing Dingy (small diesel inboard) on the other. Round South America where the problems of the Northern Hemisphere don't exist amd visit every port on the way. My idea of Heaven on earth.
Looks like a owner operated yacht stabilizers with the rebuild
I would like to convince you to consider the benefit of yachts built stem to stern academic keeling design. That is a yacht that is deepest point in the bow and the shallow stern academic keeling design. The other aspect is Edison generator and dynamos power plants to power the yachts without fuel or pollution. An edison generator is easily built from an old car generator. The Tesla magnets binding the generator are chiseled off and inverters can be added to gain house current AC voltage. Then you have unlimited electric power for unlimited range electric motoring with screw pump jets and unlimited RO water and unlimited hot water. If you have upright sailing with world-class sailing speed. The luxury qualities are dwarfed by the modern and academic technology.
What is a super yacht with a limited range of motoring or less than impressive sailing speed??
Anyone know the price?
I am definitely not a qualified buyer but I'd like to know how much I need to daydream for.
the end of every sentence goes UP
What is her current charter rate for 7 days?
It's like a mini The Last of Sheila.
All your comments related to value, cost of rebuilding etc. point to a high selling price that you chose not to disclose. It is still a 53 year old steel hull with a 6 year old refit, although beautifully done.
¡Definición de Clásico!
Swanky and vivacious. Like a 43 year old mode, past her prime but still going to the doctor for those special procedures
opinionated nqb, wall to wall carpeting?
If something is on the market it should state the price.
The fit out is very basic, the engines are one of the best makes and performer's but hard to find engineers with the required skills and knowledge to do them justice nowadays.
She's such a Beauty
Spectacular. I guess too much content to show the crew quarters.
I'd like to see the crew quarters too, as at that size you could notionally owner-operate her and then use the crew quarters as overflow berthing.
Original date of construction…?
Does it have stabilisers? If not I hope it has copious amounts of sea sickness tablets on board otherwise the day heads will be in constant use!!
Probably more than I can afford
Hiya, did used to belong to the Onassis family!?
Will be north of USD 500k
How much?
Re: the broker - I've never heard such a case of "up-talk"
Is Monara still available?
Still available!
David, I know this is probably a stupid question, but, in the Med with stern docking, how would you tie Monara up to the quayside?
If you look at the video from the stern you can see the paraselle jutting out. This will extend to the dock. The stern rail will open to allow access to the paraselle. It is quite common on canoe stern yachts. Start watching at about 1min 25sec and you will see it. I hope this helps. She sure is a wonderful yacht.
@@ianscott3180 Hi Ian, thank you for the reply, yes using the paraselle to get on and off the yacht, I understand,. Perhaps I was a bit vague with my question, what I meant was, how do you tie off the stern lines and cross springs, I'm guessing through the fairleads on the stern, and then the winches and cleats are under the main deck aft?
@@adamporteous1354 That is how it works.
That is a lot of carpet.
RANGE?
Around 2000 nm
@@Yachtsforsaleblog I thought that was a serious selling point.
She's lovely compared to the gray hulks I have experience on.
