I've lived just a few miles south of Memphis TN my whole life, and I've been through my share of some pretty wicked storms as well as the occasional tornado. But I'll tell ya...none scared me as bad as Hurricane Elvis that came through in the early 2000's. Definitely one to be remembered!

Satan is referred to as the prince of the power of the air for good reason, he owns the airwaves on planet earth and is the god (little g) of this world. It is my hope and prayer that you choose the God (Big G) of heaven who controls the destiny of your eternal soul.

[4]-In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.)
      +
(Romans 10:9-10 > [9]-That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10]-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.)

[9]-Not of works, lest any man should boast.)
      +
(Revelation 3:20 > Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.)
      +
Is Jesus knocking at the door of your heart? Is this your opportunity for eternal salvation? If it is, I hope and pray that you open the door and invite Him in to your heart and life, in Jesus' name. Amen!!

Ontario is expecting Gnarly weather over the next week, I'll be keeping good track of it all. If you could Ryan, Please keep us in your prayers, if something does go down, Our housing up North here doesn't follow Tornado strength winds for building codes, and Southern Ontario is Marshland, not a lot of basements. We could really use your help!!! As always, don't be scared, be prepared!!!

Building codes are willy-nilly in and around Houston, too; I hope that all will be well with you, and that you never experience the fear and trauma which tornadoes exude.
When my uncle supervised the building of his daughter's new little home in 1983, he made them use hurricane clips on the rafters/joists in the roof, and had the lower framing-walls bolted into the concrete. He made the builder take out all of the "green wood" they were using and replace it with cured. In addition he himself built, in 1984, two 7ft tall, 3" thick Gothic styled gates onto the front porch, basically for security in a wooded, unincorporated community. Also, in 1984, he and his sons took down the neighbor's 40 ft. tall pine tree next to the detached garage out front that had been ravaged by Hurricane Alicia in 1983, and ensuing pine bark beetles; limbs had been falling on my cousin's 1981El Camino parked in the driveway. There were no other trees on or near her corner lot after that.
On November 21, 1992, I was visiting them when three tornadoes tore through the community of Channelview. Five of us huddled in a small centrally located powder room with a full size mattress from when we were swapping out bedroom furniture that day; it was handily against the wall in the tiny hallway adjacent so we grabbed it. The mattress precariously tilted over our heads as we sat, knees drawn up, was our only protection.
Just ten minutes earlier, we'd received a phone call from my aunt telling us a tornado was headed our way. We looked out to see the transformers blowing up, our lights flickered then went out, the sky go from sparkling blue to green, pink, and bright yellow, then it was as black as night; hail was falling outside, and it was coming down the chimney, landing on the hearth. In the powder room, we heard the fourteen windows blow out, the house shook--it sounded like a giant pounding on the roof and all sides with his fists--and cold wind carrying dirt, leaves, and shingles blew in under the sliding door between us and the adjoining bathroom. We were certain the bedroom walls were gone.
A lull came, and I got out to inspect the interior of the house. Water poured from the ceiling fans, light fixtures were hanging by wires, the mini blinds were shredded, the burglar bars were intact, the houses across both streets were intact; then, it came again and I scrambled back to safety. I had just watched the dog, which had crawled under the wrought iron fence hours before come back to get into his igloo doghouse. The second round took him, inside the doghouse, and it went sailing over the fence before I could wrench open the cracked glass patio door. When all was over, I witnessed through the living room window, a man cradling a bloodied young girl in his arms running down the middle of the street toward the nearby fire station. The houses to our North were either shattered, or missing from their slabs; the tall pines surrounding our four blocks were sheered off, the few standing held debris, including an impaled red full-sized van!
Firefighters pounded on the tall gates, inquiring as to our condition and told us to get in our pickups, put them in neutral and they'd push us halfway down the block because of gas leaks; once there, we were to "put the pedal to the metal" and head to the freeway. On the way, we met emergency vehicles, that section of freeway was cordoned off, and were told to turn around and head to I-10 via the feeder road. The wind picked up, again, and a bush sailed into my cab through the shattered passenger window, startling me; minutes later, at the intersection, a bloodied, barefoot, hysterical lady jumped in and told me to take her back to her trapped husband, but when she saw deputies entering the subdivision behind us, she jumped out and ran toward them. I made it to a truck stop and called my worried aunt to tell her the family was OK, that the house lost all windows, part of the roof, and the chimney was sucked out, the living room wall was impaled by a rafter that came, through the burglar bars, from across the street, etc. We came back the next day to secure the roof with tarps, look for the dog, assess the damage, etc.; we found "Woof Woof" with a cut paw the next week, as fat as a hog due people feeding him from refrigerators/freezers knocked over. The coordinated relief between fire and rescue teams from all over the ship channel area, the sheriff's dept., Hazmat teams, churches, and volunteers was the most comprehensive and efficient I have ever witnessed. The three channel area tornadoes were rated F-3 and F-4.
A couple of months later, when pulling up the carpet, we found a perfectly straight line of pulverized glass and roofing tiles, leaves and pine needles forming a small ridge under the padding the length of the living room; different colored roofing tiles were found wedged between the walls and the kitchen cabinets. The fire marshal and home inspectors each said that our all around burglar bars were set right, and that they, the wrought iron fence, and my uncle's tall gates helped break up and deflect the flying debris. In 2008, the same house would sustain roof and fence damage during Hurricane Ike; my own house lost half of its roof and interior ceilings-walls in four bedrooms, hallways, utility room, and garage during Ike. These Gulf coastal tornadoes and hurricanes were terrifying yet amazing experiences. By the way, the rafters and walls held on the sweet little Channelview, Texas home during Hurricanes Alicia, Ike, and Harvey (no flooding, either), and the 1992 tornadoes; my uncle's tall gates stood until the house was sold in 2020; the new owners were to call us so that we could salvage them, but they didn't. Good luck to them in the next storm ...

I'm surprised you haven't even mentioned the storm in Houston. There are still large parts of Houston that are without power. Downtown Houston skyrise builders had windows blown out through Downtown. It turned those huge Power Towers into giant plies of scrap metal. It was a wild storm that blew through very quickly, with some small tornadoes.
