- i have been harping on brett for the better part of 10 years about swapping out his 406 carb small block powerplant that really did run great for him, but times changed, the small block came out, the turbo LS went in and this was just the first shakedown dyno session!

Congrats on 100k, should have happened sooner but you're convincing a lot of 'hard to convince' people there is a better way. My 6.0 is at the machine shop ready for pickup with similiar components to this one. I'm so excited to get it on the street.

I put summit pistons and summit rods in my aluminum 5.3. It’s nice stuff. I’d put money on it that the pistons are made by wiseco. I compared them to a set of my buddies wisecos and they were identical except for grooves cut between the ring lands. All other markings, machining and shapers were the same. Including the wrist pins.
For sure, they hired a former Weisco engineer

As soon as the turbo starts spoiling everyone surrounding the car starts sprouting a mullet at the rate of spool. Throw in a Air to Water inter cooler and fill it with Busch Light and you’ll pick up 1k hp, and your cousin!

Sounded like the 4303 is keeping up for now. Do you believe it would begin to struggle with a full tank of ethanol at that power level or would ot still have some room?
4303 with appropriate feed and whatnot will go 1000whp on ethanol, ive done more than one.
Way to go on the 100k also the axle might be bent or the wheel, either way something's fuky

I have the Jegs 555-60431 its awesome. It's a little higher stall than the 60429. Can't beat it for the money.
Guess I'm naive about how to set up a dyno run, but what the hell is holding that vehicle on the roller? I always have a mental image of the rear wheels hitting the ground at full throttle, with the momentum of the drive train, flywheel and engine rpm's at the 8K mark... 😳
