Start class in Appleton on Monday for Reefer. I plan on doing a RUclips channel of my experience, and I planned on throwing your name out on my first video. I plan on linking your page. You've been an inspiration to me, and I really appreciate your trucking videos. Be safe
Hi there driver, if could make a couple of obsevations. At the beginning of the clip you are parked on the side of the road. I always whince wehn I see drivers parked there instead of in a rest area or truck stop, unless you have an emergency. One other tip I learned years ago. If you come up on a exit ramp that is closed, look behind you at the exit ramp going the other way QUICKLY, before you get to far down the road. More often than not it might be open and you just flip around at the next exit, even if its ten miles down the road. Good vid!
Is the exit on the opposite side the same number
Yes

Saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷👹🔥🤘🤯
Yo tengo una Civic si coupé 2008 🔥
Big balling over there in Costa Rica with an SI!! 🤑🤘🏼
Thanks for inspiring me!
Welcome bro
Hey brother, I just came across your channel, I just recently got my CDL and I am starting my orientation with Roehl for the Reefer National fleet on Tuesday after Christmas, and once I go solo, im thinking about making videos as well, I was curious if they give you a hard time at all for recording videos like this with the gopro. I have heard some companies do, but not much about Roehl. Keep up the grind, maybe ill run into you on the road one day. Have a good one.
Once I make it north, (back in the states by the way) I’ll drag race your Semi! 😆
My current Civic has “DOGFIGHT” on the banner.
Keep up the grind Gerb!
Rome Ny haha right near my old stoping ground, I went to college in Utica NY, most of the races in my Si when it was supercharged was on rt 49 that runs next to i90 in Utica 😂
Great video 📹
My man killin it!
😎
_great insight on the grind bro, you’ve got to put in the serious effort to achieve, and you’re demonstrating that well_ 👌🏼 🚛💨
Sometimes I don’t give myself enough credit
@@TheGerbsteve _it’s harder to see it from your own prospective, so take it from an older dude, Gerb=achiever_
😉👍🏼
Are the going south or and north exits the same number

Didn't the maps re route you after passing the closed ramp
Co pilot didn’t re route me, so I got off next exit and made sure I could get back on.
@@TheGerbsteve I guess I would use my Google maps also because it re routes you quicker and shows what's currently going on on the roads
Was that after 2 months of your starting GYCDL .
Probs like 2-3 months, yeah
Is it worth getting into as a 21 almost 22 year old male love to learn love to drive been driving since I was legal. And also do they have a policy against a passenger after your trainings complete and you get your own truck?
Yes, you can stack some serious $$$. If i could go back at the age of 32 and had went on the road at 21, I would've made so much. I'm taking some time off, but I'm going back out on the road in a few months. You need 6 months clean for passenger, I believe.
Do a bobtail drift
Not worth it. Could break power divider or rear differential.
Fast.....
I’m from CT too, just got my CDL and signed on with Roehl. I’m just finishing up orientation, how is that North Eastern regional run?
Congrats 🙏🏼. It’s crazy how many people are choosing roehl !! Honestly, it’s great. You travel same roads, visit same customers, and the routing is easy 🤙🏼. It does require more skill than south east though because of more hills plus we drive in snow.
Thanks… I’m going out with a trainer from the area this week so I’ll get to see where I’ll be driving which is cool. I was just wondering how do you do on miles driven up here? If you don’t mind me asking what’s a ballpark number that one can expect to get paid working in our area? Just wondering because I hardly ever see Roehl trucks up here.
What’s there CPM?
Starting is .44-.48 cpm, but increases quickly
@@TheGerbsteve that's actually pretty good. I had heard that they start new drivers at a much lower cpm.
Hom much pay when you star
They start anywhere from .44-.48 cpm.
How many miles a week you averaging ?
@@920_newjuan3 2,200-2,500
