    Thank you so much for sharing this. My daughter asked me to crochet her some slippers and I didn’t know how I couldn’t find any patterns then I found your video and it is one of the easiest videos I’ve ever followed. These things are gorgeous and so far, I made six pair and I’m going to keep making them for Christmas presents.❤

    Round 1: 12 Hdc into a magic ring (12) slip stitch to finish
    Round 2: 2 hdc into each stitch (24) slip stitch to finish
    Round 3: 1 hdc in each stitch (24) [Counts as 1st row to equal height needed for shoe size as indicated at 2:05]
    After required height then it’s 16 HDC chain 1 & turn work then work back across. 2:56 shows you how many rows you need to make heel.

      There are quicker ways to do a magic circle . I have done it before , but it is not my favorite method. Chain up 4, slip stitch into beginning chain , and then put your 12 crochets into that circle . This is wayyy easier in my opinion:)

    I’ve been crocheting for literally only a day and now have 2 pair. Thank you for this. Lots of trial and error on my part but I’m getting cleaner and faster. Only thing I’ll say is the I had to add an extra row or 2 to the heel and main body each. I’m a size 7.

    Thats not an increase row. An increase row is 2 hdc in the same stitch and then one hdc in the next stitch… that will increase the amount of stitches therefore that is an increase row but not putting 1 hdc in each stitch so please be very specific for beginners it can become confusing… I have been crocheting for a couple of years and learned that in increase is 2 stitches in the same stitch space

      Try just using double crochet instead of half double crochet. I did that second time around and it’s coming out much better. I actually think she used the wrong terms in this video. Smh waisted time on a slipper that turned out too small.

  • @Michellexbollman
    @Michellexbollman 4 месяца назад

    For people like me who constantly second guess themselves and don’t know crocheting terminology Question?
    What do you mean by the increase? I stared my magic ring of 12 double stitch into 24… which I do for 2 rows now I’m stuck..
    so for the size 8 which is 15
    do I continue the 24 stitch for 15 more rows? This is where I’m getting lost I don’t know the terminology for crochet yet. So I’m super confused which is probably the same issue most of the people who are confused is having. Can someone please explain that part for me in a little more detail please 😩
