Good Angler on an average peg... a valuable watch. The river was very clear when I walked down, one good sign was the thousands of fry in the shallow water. Great filming by Chappy as always
this brings back great memories of fishing the Calder and Ribble at Sale Wheel in the 60's for clonking roach with bread flake over bread crumb and maize meal. Excellent video thank you very much.
Brilliant video as always mate.. I purchased the cr10 16 ft match rod. On it's first outing yesterday. was getting raoch up to 8 ounces. When a pike took one of the smaller ones.... Landed with relative ease after about 15 minutes a 7pound 7 ounces.. On a 2.7 bottom 👍
Great video and well filmed and clear audio. I use 3g Bolo floats and Olivetti's all the time catching Dace and Grayling over the hill in North Yorks on the River Swale using my 14' Cr10. I had forgotten all about fishing bread on the river and only in the winter on commercials for Silver fish.
Alan - why doesn't someone make a bread punch that floats? After losing a couple in the drink I've started drilling holes in the handle, sticking a split-ring through it and hanging them from my neck on pole elastic using one of those quick release key ring thingies.
