I absolutely loved the colours in your composition Diane you really brought a little bit of summer to my morning. It is even sunny and warm here in Scotland today. I think all your videos are excellent and I love the unknown in your designs. It’s good to hear your uncertainty as to whether things will work or not as it makes me feel braver to try things out as I tended to be a perfectionist until I started following you and I have learned so much by letting go and trying different mediums and styles that you have suggested. Thankyou for never giving up on your gut feelings. Xx🥰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I'm loving this video and managed to make a nice peach color with the Kuretake pale pink, cad yellow, and a bit of rose madder deep. I absolutely love the deep greens in the Nouveau set, so I used those.
For your dear husband's varicose veins, tell him to try a daily soak in epsom salt. It should ease the swelling and reduce pain. Sending him good thoughts. Sending you good thoughts too, because we know what it's like when men get an ailment. 😏

Sombra cream -amazon has it. As a PT for 30 years i have recommended it for my clients for neuropathy pain and more. It is by far the great for pain relief. Basically it works by distracting the pain receptors from taking in the pain response cause pain receptors loaded with taking in the cold/ hot message the cream causes. Hot and cold are a more pressing message so the receptors deal with that first so u register less pain. Also stimulates blood flow which helps reduce inflammation and the lymph to flow. Thanks for the video. I too love shell pink!! I really like the roses.

Walking helps reduce the pain in his varicose veins. Have him raise his legs in a recliner when he’s sitting. Plus, compression socks can help too! Cool packs applied to the painful vein can help him. Just make sure his legs are not swollen & painful! My mom had terrible varicose veins & I have them pretty bad myself!

Holbein paints are wonderful: I own a few tubes myself. The info to the paint can be found on one of the sides if you use a magnifying glass and turn it over, around and any way you can think to. Then you will magically find all the paint info! There are two Jaune Brillantes, #1 and #2. One is more yellow, and the other is more pink (I think.) I like them both. TheirFrench Ultramarine is especially pretty. Thanks for a great video. I always watch, but seldom comment as I have too much to say! Haha!

Oh my goodness, do you remember that cotton paper you recommended on Amazon? I think it's 5x7" 60 sheets for a ridiculously small amount of money? I bought it and used it to make watercolor blocks. It's wonderful. I saved the cover from my Rembrandt watercolor book and just keep refilling it with the new blocks. You saved me a bundle! Love the results you achieved. Ive been experimenting with granulating paint and what I’ve discovered is that the paints marketed by say Daniel Smith and others are a mixture of 2 pigments like the kuratake. Some do granulate but they also all separate into 2 colors. Another interesting product is Derwent Graphitint paint. It comes in a cute little pallet with 12 colors. The graphite in the paint granulates and there is no color separation. You do such a great job of experimenting with the products to show how they work. Thank you so much!

Hi Kay and thanks for your thoughts - I have heard of the Graphitint paint but haven’t tried it yet, I’ll see if I can get a set. Sounds interesting - I think it might be similar to the Kuretake graphite paints perhaps? Have you seen those? I’ve been sent a set of their Sumi colors which I’m going to try out soon and report back on!

Dilute Cidar Vinegar 50/40 with water and apply to veins. Also for general health, add a desert spoon to a mug of tea or hot water and sweeten to taste with preferably local honey, Most people can take this with no difficulty, but start off with less CV if you wish.
