Some advice for Dahlia, if you give her the "Elemental Orb Ender" aux core she will break two to three orbs guaranteed. It all depends on the location of the wind orb.
Adenine also has insane utility with her weakness damage increase since it's like an 80% damage increase, much better than Dahlia in Chain Attacks for that reason since it let's you kill the enemy faster. Agaeon's perfect Evasion when reaching Max affinity is broken. Electra also comes with her own Block Rate Up V and a counter, while Kasandra can't make much use of Fortune due to her low crit rate. Also KOS-MOS beats Herald due to better element and having an Ether Mod.
I adore using Agate. Her damage just seemed to rein supreme compared to even main characters. I first had her on Rex, and recently I had her on Morag and I love her on both of them.
I actually really like Godfrey, he carried me through the architect visions of your friends (keeping it vague for people who haven't finished the game yet but if you have then you know what I'm talking about)

In my opinion, you should have split the Ether Cannon section. The two are both insanely powerful. Herald has more damage and is able to oneshot liteally anything without huge investment (+she levels up insanely quick), but KOS-MOS makes it literally impossible to lose due to her team healing and increased survivability. Ether Cannons might be the most overpowered wepon class in the entire game, not counting "unique" classes like the Aegis Sword or the Big Bang Edge. ... Could you please extend this list and explain, which one of these unique classes is the best?
Boreas is so fun. I love his design and his voice. The strategy I use with him is switching between blades to charge his level 3 special then using it to fully heal the whole team. Works pretty well in most cases, especially against multiple enemies.

Slobertooth 13 yea theory is good for damage but aegeon helps morag do what she does best and that's evade attacks because alot of his passives revolve around evasion but I wish he was a different element
I just got Kos-Mos (my last) the other day took about like 300 cores but Launching and SMASHING that Armu was weirdly satisfying I wonder what the DLC will have, there are no Dark or Fire healers or a Earth tank (besides Poppi) and depends what Challenge Mode might be maybe new higher leveled enemies
I think it depends on playstyle mostly and some Blades are better for certain situations but on average the top ones imo are Corvin, Kosmos, Zenobia, Elma, Herald, Telos, of course Mythra/pyra in their ashended form, being the top ones on my current list, and also depends on how you equip them all can help enhance them make them better. oh yeah I forgot maxing out Poppi and all her forms just cheeses the game, but that could take a while cause I don't intend to play Tiger Tiger Arcade ever again but luckily you can upgrade her in new game + with accumilated exp shop.

My only problem with Xenobia is that I focus a lot on driver combos and Roc's smash is a must have on Rex, which leaves me with no air spot left on him. I could just add zeke to the party, but I use Nia for her good breaks (and launch with knuckles) and Tora for having the 4 driver combo elements by himself...
huh, 2 years late but my team playing through the game was super similar to this list, Herald, Vale/Praxis, Mythra was my standard Rex set-up, always Boreas, Ursala, Dromarch for Nia, and either Tora and the Poppi's or Morag with Theory, Kassandra, Brighid. Sorry Zeke, I don't hate you, but you got literally zero playtime in my game.
I find nim to be the best healer and I had her on Rex almost the whole game. Healing the whole team full with a level one special that is super easy to get is amazing. She also does a ton of damage
Fun fact i didn't know kasandra was actually from salvaging early on in morArdain part of the game and I ended up getting her 2nd from Last, and last being Telos lol
Have checked over and over your videos, which is very useful information since I started playing all over again. But since all drivers can use up to three weapons each at most the question popped up, what weapons each character should focus their builds on. Both Rex and Zeke seem to be Great axe users of what I've seen, as same for either cannon

My suggestion would be to put bitballs on Nia, Zeke and (if you want Morag). Knuckle Claws can go on Nia and Zeke. For a healer on Rex, I suggest giving him Kora.
Another great video! I actually agree on most of your rankings, except one thing. Shield hammers: while I personally like Electra more, I agree that Kasandra is better overall. Chroma Katanas: Totally agree. Theory is the best, and one of my favourites in the whole game. While Aeageon is great, to achieve his dodge potential, you either have to be low on hp (and that is a bit dangerous for katanas, as they are more fragile than shield hammers), or move around a lot (bot then you can't attack). Bit Ball: No contest. Boreas is amazing. Not to mention his affinity chart is super easy to unlock (if you have enough money and money making is easy in this game). Knuckles: Again, no contest. Ursulla is the best healer in the game. But her affinity chart is soooooo bad. How many hours do you actually need to unlock that sh*t?! 20? 30?! Goddamnit... Still not done. Spears: Yeah, Vale is kinda ahead of everyone in regards to damage. Wulfric is good, but driver combos are usually very short, so the window of opportunity is very narrow, so it can be hard to unlock his full damage potential. Praxis is good, but falls behind a little. Perun is strong solo, but that is pretty boring. Axes: Yeah, Zenobia is amazing. So is Dagaz. Others are not so much. Ether Canons: I would place KOS-MOS on the first place, as she has amazing utility, and I think her lvl 1 special actually deals more damage than Herald's. At least it did in your video. Another thing why I placed Herald on second place - she really struggles with aggro, as she has no aggro reduction whatsoever. And with her damage even the best tanks will struggle to keep aggro to themselves. Sheba has amazing damage potential, but it takes too much time to get it. And Azami... She is in a sad place. Her normal damage is horrible when compared to other Ether Canons, and it is very hard to achieve her true damage potential with the way healing works in this game. I'm sure, that If you have 1 hp remainig, you will deal a lot of damage. But I have never seen her passive kick in on my story playthrought, let alone on superbosses. It's too bad, considering her great design as a character.
Is there a video to showcase which characters should get which rare blades? I ask because in my playthrough for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nia managed to get all three blades for the CLeared of all Charges quest and it can't be active unless all three are in the party so I sent Godfrey to Zeke. Was that a wise option?
Most of the story based blades are among the most useful, in their own way. Poppi QTπ has great damage output, Mythra (at least to my knowledge) builds party gauge the fastest out of every blade, while Brighid and Poppi Alpha are immortal tanks.

Hey Nn Li, got a couple of random questions about this game I was hoping you could answer. Is there a "best" kind of pouch item for each character? Right now I'm just using anything that speeds up driver abilities, but the majority of foods I have/use are low tier, to say the least. I've noticed in many of your videos that you tend to focus on getting the Elemental Orbs up, and Driver Combos seem to fall to the wayside. Is that just because of personal preference, or is that the most efficient way of fighting the big baddies if this game? Is it even possible to set up a team to do both the full Driver Combo chain and get elemental orbs?
TubaAssassin pouch items vary depending on what your doing. I prefer running two items that boost special damage as with the right setup you can kill most super bosses after charging a chain att with 1 or no orbs. If you wan't survivability or your farming items than driver art boosting items are preferred as you can heal and smash more often. For your second question driver combos take a paticular setup. Only certain blades break, topple, launch and smash meaning you're limited to running certain blades to preform driver combos. Generally you'll have a party member who can break and Rex at all times so you can topple enemies to hit them for increased damage during the topple and ideally Tora who can preform the whole combo himself although he rarely will finish it without the bangle equipped. While the combos are useful they dont make or break your dps with smash primarily used for trash mobs or farming and there are a lot of better setups for maximizing dps that use blades that can't preform combos. Even if they could you do the most damage with them when something is toppled so you probably wouldn't want to. Driver combos are great when your playing through the story and are useful in endgame to farm but aren't really practical for the endgame challenges which is sort of a bummer cause they're so fun.
I a rex/tora/zeke build so I just put recharge arts on rex since I use a heal blade with him and want quick heals (he's not gonna out damage tora and zeke with mythra anyway) and on the others I just increase special damage. Generally if I'm controlling the character I want arts recharge to increase the pacing and to build my own specials faster, but for the AI I don't really care that much.
Right now, I'm running Rex/Nia/Tora. I have Rex equipped with Pyra/Mythra, Pandoria, and Roc, to go through the combo. Mia sets up Break with Dromach, Boreas, and Vess, although I plan to replace Vess with the Demonetization Bunny once I unlock her to cover the ice element. Tora is just doing his own thing, and I plan to change Poppi Qtpi's element to Dark for complete coverage once I unlock her, too.. If it's really not worth it to focus on the Drive combos, then I'll try to come up with something better
Hot Ruby Steamed Bun + Narcipear Jelly are a great combo for any activity. They increase your art recharge by 0.4s each as well as grant you some -% dmg taken from both types of dmg (main thing you want is the art recharge, as that makes you heal faster, deal dmg faster, hold hate better, etc etc). They're only not too good for Perdido, who shines with auto attacks while on Morag (she has a passive that boosts auto attack speed, otherwise I'd put an Ether Cannon on Zeke or Nia). Perdido's literally the only blade that prefers to auto attack over using arts, so he's a special case.
Current Character Setups: Rex: Pyra-Mythra/Zenobia/Roc Nia: Boreas/Floren/Ursula Tora: Poppi/Poppi QT/Poppi QTπ (...duh) Morag: Brigid/Theory/Perceval Zeke: Herald/Vale/Wulfric I rarely use Nia anymore, but Rex and Tora are usually a lock. I'll juggle Poppi's Cores based on whether I use Morag or Zeke. I was hesitant to go double Wind on Rex, but once I figured out Roc's critical rate reaches 76% with Crit Up V and Moon Matter Chip, I didn't feel so bad about it anymore. Also, Topple/Launch/Smash on Rex is always worth it. Sometimes I'll run Herald/Sheba/Azami on Zeke if I want to ensure a Driver combo for farming.
I was about to say you forgot about the twin ring class, but then remembered Dromarch is the only one. As a healer though, besides Ursula, who would you say is the better healer between Dromarch and Boreas? Great video!
This is a bit late but after the dlc I'd say the strongest is the Cloud poison boss in Challenge area, that killed me over n over for hours what a troll that boss is, its not the boss thats powerful its the poison that gets you cheesed the most and the boss also casts Doom so without protection against that your as good as dead lol

Rex is mediocre with axes and cannons, nia is fine but not amazing, morag is fine but aegeon and kassandra aren’t very good and if you want to use brighid best you don’t want to swap off of her, zeke is really good
Vale and boreas were the first two blades I got in chapter 2 and they made the game pretty easy going. I never had to much trouble against special beasts even if they were 20 levels above me. Nia/Boreas is pretty awesome.
How come the cord between you and ur blade is gold meaning you are at max affinity? Mine turns gold only if I charge the special do 3, wait it to charge to 4...
He puts Hunter's Chemistry V core thingies on his lead blades to max out their affinity as long as they got the first hit. I only have it on Mythra and Zenobia because I haven't got enough of them.
Just out of curiousity, did anyone bother to finish getting the rare blades that are found from core crystals once you got KOS-MOS? I got her just recently, and don't feel a need to get the rest of the rare blades I haven't found except for Praxis and Theory. The only random non new game+ rare blades I'm currently missing are the cat girl one and Herald.
I remember that kosmos was my third rate blade. Think I got her near the end of gormott and didn’t touch her until I was showing my blades to my friend and he flipped his shit when he saw kosmos
U should make a video on the best 2-3 blades of each role/class (probably besides poppi since people would want to use these blades together). Especially now is a good time since every pre golden country Blade has been released
1st common core I opened I got xenobia on Rex I cared so much because in my other play through I opened 20 legendary cores none of them were xenobia and none were rare blades the logic is stupid
I've actually been quite lucky with "random" blades. I didn't watch a single strategy or battle guide whilst playing through the main story. It turns out I accidently came close to having the best team possible. Still trying to get KOSMOS, Vale, Perceval, Dahlia, and 1 or 2 others.
This is a videogame first and foremost! As well, it's not like this is a competitive game where you MUST use certain blades in order to succeed. I personally like to use Crit/Heal setups on mah gurl, Kasandra! (Moon matter chip, Crit Up V aux cores). It's not the best, but I love using it!
Imagine my happiness when Vale was the first Attacker Rare Blade and Ursula was the first Healer Rare Blade that I pulled....and both came before I even headed off to rescue Nia in Chapter 2. :P
gamester512 lies you can't open crystals until about gormott I had watched my cousin play to about that point and he had the expansion pass but whenever he tried to get the crystals from the pass it said he needed to progress
GoldenOunk best way to do it is to open rares and legendaries on who you want and use the booster for the corresponding element ( ex.justice for dark on Zeke etc )and if you get the wrong blade on the wrong driver use whatever overdrive protocol you have to transfer them to who you want

This is my team: Rex: Mythra, Zenobia, Praxis Nia: Dromarch, Herald/KOS-MOS, Ursula Morag: Brighid, Kasandra, Theory With the exception of Praxis, all my rare blades are what you consider the best in their class (I consider Herald and KOS-MOS to be equal, they are interchangeable depending on if I'm going for 5 orbs or 4). Praxis is just for extra utility for her element. I'm hoping that NG+ allows us to transfer blades over so I can try different team builds without RNG.

I have 2 Rare Blades left to get. Vale and Adenine. I got KOS-MOS as my most recent Rare Blade, and was using Truth boosters to go for Adenine at the time.
I've felt the same on several of the ones I've gotten, but just have to chalk it up to RNG. I'm just missing Percival, Adenine, and Kos-Mos in chapter 8.
I enjoy running the following team for a quick 4 Orb Build and Full Burst along with making Super Bosses hilarious with Break - Topple - Launch - Smash as Tora's break gives 3 chances for it to occur. Based Nern you use choker accessory items, equip common blades with luck modifiers, (it says which kind of modifiers they have on the second page of their stats) then equip those blades with weapon chips that increase luck. Also, just leveling up can increase it as well.
Poppi qtpie can kill tyrannotitan in 15 seconds solo, so i think shes the strongest. But herald is only a few seconds behind due her level 1 special during chain attack is slower to use...
Hmm... I agree with most of your list, except I would replace Boreas with Dahlia, and Wulfric for Vale... Simply because crit damage is better than sheer damage multipliers
Phoenix 4668 dude just no... Vale does the bets damage and Boreas not only adds a ton of HP to his driver but also has VERY good healing cause it can heal overtime as well
in my opinion i dont think you should use knucle class blades at all because they arent very good with healing and the only move she can heal is by dropping a potion or 2 and they can die out before you get to them so i dont recomend even using knuckle class blades like at all EDIT: even if they dont change it what if it doesnt work for you what if you dont know how to do it just please if you dont use this tactic stay away from knuckle blades for healing
I'd probably put Dagas over Zenobia. She is actually WAY too powerful that the tanks really couldn't keep up with her aggro - even Mythra spamming Spinning Edges couldn't do that. Also, I agree with you on Dahlia, but as Floren is way better at healing than Boreas.
Once you max out Urusla's affinity you want to die, but she won't even let you do that...

Really? So far i have only some comon blades with canons and they are not all that good.
That is because the Commons in general suck. Kosmos, Herals and Sheba are probably teh most OP thing in Xenoblade, Herals in particular
KOS-MOS is better than Sheba, as KOS-MOS can wield the light element, and Hyperclock is stupidly overpowered.

I know vale is better but I always use Perun, she was my first random rare and I like her personality and side quest
My only problem with Xenobia is that I focus a lot on driver combos and Roc's smash is a must have on Rex, which leaves me with no air spot left on him. I could just add zeke to the party, but I use Nia for her good breaks (and launch with knuckles) and Tora for having the 4 driver combo elements by himself...
huh, 2 years late but my team playing through the game was super similar to this list, Herald, Vale/Praxis, Mythra was my standard Rex set-up, always Boreas, Ursala, Dromarch for Nia, and either Tora and the Poppi's or Morag with Theory, Kassandra, Brighid. Sorry Zeke, I don't hate you, but you got literally zero playtime in my game.
I find nim to be the best healer and I had her on Rex almost the whole game. Healing the whole team full with a level one special that is super easy to get is amazing. She also does a ton of damage

Fun fact i didn't know kasandra was actually from salvaging early on in morArdain part of the game and I ended up getting her 2nd from Last, and last being Telos lol
Have checked over and over your videos, which is very useful information since I started playing all over again. But since all drivers can use up to three weapons each at most the question popped up, what weapons each character should focus their builds on.
Both Rex and Zeke seem to be Great axe users of what I've seen, as same for either cannon

Awesome video man i really appreciated this and question, which driver should I give what healer? I unlocked all of them first and I really don’t want rex with all of them, do you have any recommendations for who gets what? Especially for post game bosses
My suggestion would be to put bitballs on Nia, Zeke and (if you want Morag). Knuckle Claws can go on Nia and Zeke. For a healer on Rex, I suggest giving him Kora.
Another great video! I actually agree on most of your rankings, except one thing.
Shield hammers: while I personally like Electra more, I agree that Kasandra is better overall.
Chroma Katanas: Totally agree. Theory is the best, and one of my favourites in the whole game. While Aeageon is great, to achieve his dodge potential, you either have to be low on hp (and that is a bit dangerous for katanas, as they are more fragile than shield hammers), or move around a lot (bot then you can't attack).
Bit Ball: No contest. Boreas is amazing. Not to mention his affinity chart is super easy to unlock (if you have enough money and money making is easy in this game).
Knuckles: Again, no contest. Ursulla is the best healer in the game. But her affinity chart is soooooo bad. How many hours do you actually need to unlock that sh*t?! 20? 30?! Goddamnit... Still not done.
Spears: Yeah, Vale is kinda ahead of everyone in regards to damage. Wulfric is good, but driver combos are usually very short, so the window of opportunity is very narrow, so it can be hard to unlock his full damage potential. Praxis is good, but falls behind a little. Perun is strong solo, but that is pretty boring.
Axes: Yeah, Zenobia is amazing. So is Dagaz. Others are not so much.
Ether Canons: I would place KOS-MOS on the first place, as she has amazing utility, and I think her lvl 1 special actually deals more damage than Herald's. At least it did in your video. Another thing why I placed Herald on second place - she really struggles with aggro, as she has no aggro reduction whatsoever. And with her damage even the best tanks will struggle to keep aggro to themselves.
Sheba has amazing damage potential, but it takes too much time to get it. And Azami... She is in a sad place. Her normal damage is horrible when compared to other Ether Canons, and it is very hard to achieve her true damage potential with the way healing works in this game. I'm sure, that If you have 1 hp remainig, you will deal a lot of damage. But I have never seen her passive kick in on my story playthrought, let alone on superbosses. It's too bad, considering her great design as a character.
Wait til you see the DLC Axe, T-elos... She's probably the easiest blade to hit dmg cap with.
Is there a video to showcase which characters should get which rare blades? I ask because in my playthrough for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nia managed to get all three blades for the CLeared of all Charges quest and it can't be active unless all three are in the party so I sent Godfrey to Zeke. Was that a wise option?

Yeah, +dmg Aux Cores/Accessories are infinitely better that +Aggro stuff. +Dmg increases both your Aggro and your (surprisingly...) dmg :p

Most of the story based blades are among the most useful, in their own way. Poppi QTπ has great damage output, Mythra (at least to my knowledge) builds party gauge the fastest out of every blade, while Brighid and Poppi Alpha are immortal tanks.
Guess im a but late for that game in general but this guide mostly looks at active play right? Meaning the katanas are probably ot that good when u have them on your npc tank right?
Vale was my second rare blade pull, I'm in chapter 3. she's on Nia, but I have her as a dedicated healer right now. What can I do to make use of vale?

Hey Nn Li, got a couple of random questions about this game I was hoping you could answer.
Is there a "best" kind of pouch item for each character? Right now I'm just using anything that speeds up driver abilities, but the majority of foods I have/use are low tier, to say the least.
I've noticed in many of your videos that you tend to focus on getting the Elemental Orbs up, and Driver Combos seem to fall to the wayside. Is that just because of personal preference, or is that the most efficient way of fighting the big baddies if this game? Is it even possible to set up a team to do both the full Driver Combo chain and get elemental orbs?
TubaAssassin pouch items vary depending on what your doing. I prefer running two items that boost special damage as with the right setup you can kill most super bosses after charging a chain att with 1 or no orbs. If you wan't survivability or your farming items than driver art boosting items are preferred as you can heal and smash more often.
For your second question driver combos take a paticular setup. Only certain blades break, topple, launch and smash meaning you're limited to running certain blades to preform driver combos. Generally you'll have a party member who can break and Rex at all times so you can topple enemies to hit them for increased damage during the topple and ideally Tora who can preform the whole combo himself although he rarely will finish it without the bangle equipped. While the combos are useful they dont make or break your dps with smash primarily used for trash mobs or farming and there are a lot of better setups for maximizing dps that use blades that can't preform combos. Even if they could you do the most damage with them when something is toppled so you probably wouldn't want to.
Driver combos are great when your playing through the story and are useful in endgame to farm but aren't really practical for the endgame challenges which is sort of a bummer cause they're so fun.
I a rex/tora/zeke build so I just put recharge arts on rex since I use a heal blade with him and want quick heals (he's not gonna out damage tora and zeke with mythra anyway) and on the others I just increase special damage. Generally if I'm controlling the character I want arts recharge to increase the pacing and to build my own specials faster, but for the AI I don't really care that much.
Right now, I'm running Rex/Nia/Tora. I have Rex equipped with Pyra/Mythra, Pandoria, and Roc, to go through the combo. Mia sets up Break with Dromach, Boreas, and Vess, although I plan to replace Vess with the Demonetization Bunny once I unlock her to cover the ice element. Tora is just doing his own thing, and I plan to change Poppi Qtpi's element to Dark for complete coverage once I unlock her, too.. If it's really not worth it to focus on the Drive combos, then I'll try to come up with something better
Hot Ruby Steamed Bun + Narcipear Jelly are a great combo for any activity. They increase your art recharge by 0.4s each as well as grant you some -% dmg taken from both types of dmg (main thing you want is the art recharge, as that makes you heal faster, deal dmg faster, hold hate better, etc etc). They're only not too good for Perdido, who shines with auto attacks while on Morag (she has a passive that boosts auto attack speed, otherwise I'd put an Ether Cannon on Zeke or Nia). Perdido's literally the only blade that prefers to auto attack over using arts, so he's a special case.
Current Character Setups:
Rex: Pyra-Mythra/Zenobia/Roc
Nia: Boreas/Floren/Ursula
Tora: Poppi/Poppi QT/Poppi QTπ (...duh)
Morag: Brigid/Theory/Perceval
Zeke: Herald/Vale/Wulfric
I rarely use Nia anymore, but Rex and Tora are usually a lock. I'll juggle Poppi's Cores based on whether I use Morag or Zeke. I was hesitant to go double Wind on Rex, but once I figured out Roc's critical rate reaches 76% with Crit Up V and Moon Matter Chip, I didn't feel so bad about it anymore. Also, Topple/Launch/Smash on Rex is always worth it. Sometimes I'll run Herald/Sheba/Azami on Zeke if I want to ensure a Driver combo for farming.
The cookie cutter blades for Mòrag are Brighid, Aegeon and Kasandra.
I just got Ursula early on in Chapter 3. Gonna have fun completing that affinity chart.
I was about to say you forgot about the twin ring class, but then remembered Dromarch is the only one. As a healer though, besides Ursula, who would you say is the better healer between Dromarch and Boreas? Great video!

This is a bit late but after the dlc I'd say the strongest is the Cloud poison boss in Challenge area, that killed me over n over for hours what a troll that boss is, its not the boss thats powerful its the poison that gets you cheesed the most and the boss also casts Doom so without protection against that your as good as dead lol

Rex is mediocre with axes and cannons, nia is fine but not amazing, morag is fine but aegeon and kassandra aren’t very good and if you want to use brighid best you don’t want to swap off of her, zeke is really good
Vale and boreas were the first two blades I got in chapter 2 and they made the game pretty easy going. I never had to much trouble against special beasts even if they were 20 levels above me. Nia/Boreas is pretty awesome.
How come the cord between you and ur blade is gold meaning you are at max affinity? Mine turns gold only if I charge the special do 3, wait it to charge to 4...
He puts Hunter's Chemistry V core thingies on his lead blades to max out their affinity as long as they got the first hit. I only have it on Mythra and Zenobia because I haven't got enough of them.
Just out of curiousity, did anyone bother to finish getting the rare blades that are found from core crystals once you got KOS-MOS? I got her just recently, and don't feel a need to get the rest of the rare blades I haven't found except for Praxis and Theory. The only random non new game+ rare blades I'm currently missing are the cat girl one and Herald.

1st common core I opened I got xenobia on Rex I cared so much because in my other play through I opened 20 legendary cores none of them were xenobia and none were rare blades the logic is stupid

I've actually been quite lucky with "random" blades. I didn't watch a single strategy or battle guide whilst playing through the main story. It turns out I accidently came close to having the best team possible. Still trying to get KOSMOS, Vale, Perceval, Dahlia, and 1 or 2 others.
Mythra, Corwin, Kosmos are the only blades you will need for 45secs boss kills.
So in other words it's a tier list for vanilla xenoblade. Meaning no dlc.

This is a videogame first and foremost! As well, it's not like this is a competitive game where you MUST use certain blades in order to succeed. I personally like to use Crit/Heal setups on mah gurl, Kasandra! (Moon matter chip, Crit Up V aux cores). It's not the best, but I love using it!
I'd like them to add an item that lets you add Aux core slots to blades. I think it would make some otherwise lackluster rare blades much more viable.

GoldenOunk u can overdrive them by maxing out charts kn 4 crown commons and release them for Overdrive Protocols

GoldenOunk best way to do it is to open rares and legendaries on who you want and use the booster for the corresponding element ( ex.justice for dark on Zeke etc )and if you get the wrong blade on the wrong driver use whatever overdrive protocol you have to transfer them to who you want

With the exception of Praxis, all my rare blades are what you consider the best in their class (I consider Herald and KOS-MOS to be equal, they are interchangeable depending on if I'm going for 5 orbs or 4). Praxis is just for extra utility for her element.
I'm hoping that NG+ allows us to transfer blades over so I can try different team builds without RNG.
My sets:
Rex: Mythra, Agate, Vale
Nia: Ursula, Dromarch, Boreas
Morag: Brighid, Aegaeon, Kasandra

I have 2 Rare Blades left to get. Vale and Adenine. I got KOS-MOS as my most recent Rare Blade, and was using Truth boosters to go for Adenine at the time.

I've felt the same on several of the ones I've gotten, but just have to chalk it up to RNG. I'm just missing Percival, Adenine, and Kos-Mos in chapter 8.

Still missing 4 rare blades. I’ve probably resonated with over 200 core crystals and gotten nothing. I’ve got Zeke at around 800 luck. Why?
How did you get such high luck?
Based Nern you use choker accessory items, equip common blades with luck modifiers, (it says which kind of modifiers they have on the second page of their stats) then equip those blades with weapon chips that increase luck. Also, just leveling up can increase it as well.
Poppi qtpie can kill tyrannotitan in 15 seconds solo, so i think shes the strongest. But herald is only a few seconds behind due her level 1 special during chain attack is slower to use...
My god the Ursula side quest is long and annoying but you basically become GOD once you finish it 100% so it is WORTH it

Hmm... I agree with most of your list, except I would replace Boreas with Dahlia, and Wulfric for Vale... Simply because crit damage is better than sheer damage multipliers
Phoenix 4668 dude just no... Vale does the bets damage and Boreas not only adds a ton of HP to his driver but also has VERY good healing cause it can heal overtime as well

100% agree with this list.
in my opinion i dont think you should use knucle class blades at all because they arent very good with healing and the only move she can heal is by dropping a potion or 2 and they can die out before you get to them so i dont recomend even using knuckle class blades like at all
EDIT: even if they dont change it what if it doesnt work for you what if you dont know how to do it just please if you dont use this tactic stay away from knuckle blades for healing
I'd probably put Dagas over Zenobia. She is actually WAY too powerful that the tanks really couldn't keep up with her aggro - even Mythra spamming Spinning Edges couldn't do that.
Also, I agree with you on Dahlia, but as Floren is way better at healing than Boreas.
