    "Early Bird" sounds as much like All Along The Watchtower as a song can sound without Bob Dylan sending his goons.

    How is this compared to the 120? And which one is the better first knife to get?

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  5 лет назад

      I feel the shape of the tip on the 122 makes it better for a lot of carving details, so I would try it first.

      I have both, the curved edge of the 120 is slightly better for cutting, but the flat edge of the 122 is nice and simple to sharpen, blade thickness is more or less the same between the two. Unfortunately my 122 also came with a bent blade which really doesn't help with sharpening. Interestingly you can also definitely see the lamination on the 122.

    I just got mine in and I might have been from a bad batch. It didn't come sharp at all. It's like the grinding machine didn't quite make it all the way to center. I can press hard on the blade and then slide my finger along and it doesn't cut me. Did some carving and even without the razor edge it still bit into the wood somewhat decently. It's a good blade shape. I just got one that was bunk. Hope my replacement is sharp

    yeah that is a standard sheath for classic mora knives

      stereomike111 I'd much rather have a high quality knife and a crap sheath than a compromise on both and I think Mora understands this. It saves them money and we get really good knives.

    excellent leverage - zero millimeters between handle and cutting edge

    About time you got a knife for carving LOL. Hey what happened to the 'Real Talk' playlist, it seems some of your older videos aren't up anymore?

      The problem with telling people the truth is that intelligent people already knew it, so they’ll just say “well duh,” and people who didn’t know it are either too stupid to understand it or too scared to accept it. Preaching to the choir gets boring and is unnecessary. Not to mention RUclips has gone all “family friendly” and so anyone who is making videos designed to be intentionally controversial is probably going to slam into their hazy brick wall of censorship anyway. RUclips is turning into a second Disney Channel. I’m just going to continue making gear reviews until such time as they decide to ban gun and knife vids altogether. Enjoy it while it lasts.

      Hey bro! Picked up a Bark River Barong a while back. Also currently testing three Spanish knives, one Cudeman, one CDS, and one JEO-TEC! The new Junglas II is very tempting ...

    If you already have a Mora 106, where would you find this knife useful?

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  7 лет назад +2

      Because the straight part of the edge goes all the way to the tip on this one, it can get into tighter spaces, so it is useful for smaller or more complicated carves.

    • @snowwalker9999
      @snowwalker9999 7 лет назад

      Thanks for the response. Have you measured the thickness of the blade? I am curious. Thinner blades seem to handle tight spaces a bit better at that size.

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  7 лет назад +1

      It's 0.08 inches. A few people have broken the tip, if using it in real hard wood, since it is so thin.

    • @snowwalker9999
      @snowwalker9999 7 лет назад +1

      0.08 inches is perfect for that task, it's almost 2 mm. Many had complaints that Mora 120 was too thick for its size and I think Mora made that one intentionally too thick to help carvers avoid breaking the tip. This one should help complete their carving knives set. Thanks again
