I've had my samurai swords for almost 40 years. They are the cheap tourist ones my father (a Marine) picked up while in Japan. Not sharpened but pointy. We used to have sword fights with neighbor kids whose dad's brought them back too. Crazy to think of a bunch of 10 year olds running around with metal swords swinging them at each other. But things were different on military bases. Hell, we used to bring our Ka-Bars to school for show and tell. What we all really wanted was a ninja sword like in your video.
