I agree, great knife for end of the world stuff, but not so mutch for outdoor use. I do like your review approach, quick and to the point. Thanks and have a great day.
You always show me something new to buy. You’re responsible for me spending thousands LOL ! Looks like the urban survival type of specialty knife. Good to see ya. The 893
That is a nice beefy blade. As far as the scales go, they look like they can be removed by unscrewing what looks like Chicago screws with a special torx bit and customize your own scales that are comfortable for your own hand. Thanks for the review 😏👍
At first glace I knew the handle configuration would transmit hard vibrations if battaned or used for chopping and the choil is a little to wide! Other than that the knife is a beast!
Wow..gonna have to up my curl reps if I plan to carry this beast....and wear a thicker belt..I have the GI Tanto and it's big but this thing looks more like a companion for Thor's hammer!
Great video. Looks like a great knife. Love the thickness. Price a little high for me but probably worth it with the quality steel. I got the Cold Steel GI Tanto couple years ago for $28. I thought that was a super deal.
Wow , Gr8 Knife & Gr8 Video boss, Best choice for BOB & GHB setup , 138$ is little on higher side . You Must do the BALANC THROWING Testing on This one , Tanto are welknown for that , Thanks
As thick as that is, I could see that saber grind making chopping more difficult than it needs to be. In my experience, a blade like that will catch the material to be chopped with the shoulder of that grind and cause it to skate into the material at a weird angle or just bounce off altogether.
My god, even if that was dull as a butter knife, I bet I could still beat someone to death with it! They certainly did not skimp on the material on this one!
Really hard to beat this company. They make a hell of a knife for the price. I don't understand why overseas companies can make knives cheaper using steel from another country. Yet America with American steel cost 2 times to 3times the price. I remember thinking $200 was crazy for a fixed blade. Nowadays they run $350-400 an in many cases. The worst part many foreign knives are better all the way around. Except to fanboys and trolls.
Nothing about this knife make sense for an everyday Joe to get it. Except: it looks soo f*ckin' cool, that you simply cannot resist to get one. And for what to use? Well, life and situation brings you the tasks. If you handy enough you will do anything with that as well (okay, skinning small game is not what I think you can do it properly, but usual everyday and survival tasks would be fine with it). And the full black stonewashed is very tacticool!
For sure, it is the old practical paradox - we all acquire the practical knives first, so anyone into knives for a long time will mostly be attracted to something different or extreme.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives also why wouldn't you practice throwing the knife you carry. Everyone expects you to keep your knife in hand but carry two. One you can throw and one you can hold in hand afterwards.
This design is an over kill by anyone’s standards. I guess it’ll float somebody’s boat, not a soldier, or someone looking for a defensive knife, maybe a wall hanger for a mall ninja. Perhaps a fun backyard knife.
People seem to like that it is similar to GI Tanto but thicker and better steel. But yeah, if the GI Tanto had not been so popular, a lot of those same people might not have liked this one, and I think the GI tanto was popular at first because of its low price, and it is interesting how this knife is expensive but some of that popularity is still rubbing off on it. All Lengren knives will be over the top though, a lot of them are based on Miller Brothers.
I was able to buy a similar knife on Temu for around 40 bucks! Looks nearly identical to the Lengren but it has different branding, sheath has no leather staps and the steel is labled as s30v. Not so sure about the steel but the fit and finish is pretty great.

Excellent, glad you're finding items you like!
That thing is a beast!! Thanks for the demonstrations, my friend!
Any time!
Man i love sleipner steel!
It really holds an edge well, my other Legrens are all still sharp, too!
Very nice. This brand has been doing some great stuff lately!
For sure, they like to push the limits.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Great starter for some custom scales. Straight lines and a "NEED" to replace them are good incentives. LOL

Great video that delivers an automatic purchase. Thank you, WAJKs.

That's badass. The Punisher should carry that instead of the p.o.s Tops came up with.

I still love my GI Tanto as well, its a screaming bargain!
Awesome blade, thank you!
Oh that thing could penetrate and not be stopped- 8mm is devastating spine width for a tanto piercing weapon
For sure, like a vampire stake but steel!
It’s a solid piece no doubt. Can’t get Lengren knives right now, so I’m checking out your older videos. Looking into UC’s scottish sgians and dirks.😅
Excellent, I'm getting their M48 Tanker Combat Dagger soon.

136 is outrageous for that knife
It's just because of the steel.

Its for throwing
Would not need that edge for throwing, though.

Joe X needs to review THAT beast ! Lol
For sure, it will be difficult to break, the tip is very pointed so he should start with stabbing it into a rock, that could harm the tip.
Not practical as en EDC , a gun is smaller.
