Finally added The Cold Steel Rondel Dagger to the collection. This is a historical weapon with a 11.5 Inch triangular blade of 1065 steel. According to Cold Steel it was designed to pierce chain mail, heavy clothing, or openings in plate armor. Made India for Cold Steel. Enjoy! :D *COLD STEEL HISTORICAL, BELOW* (US LINKS): Cold Steel Rondel Dagger: s71.co/4fXPBzU Khyber Sword: s71.co/3QmVcoX Kris Dagger: s71.co/3ZxLy3S Kris Sword: s71.co/3nvDCmt Chieftan Sax: s71.co/3WBYyHz Woodsman’s Sax: s71.co/3zVGIGT Long Sax: s71.co/4cU3Xzr Norse Hawk: s71.co/3oEz63N Viking Battle Axe: s71.co/3A1icUH Viking (Pole) Axe: s71.co/3yoJ8gx Viking Sword, Single Edge: s71.co/46ig1Ip Viking Sword, Double Edged: s71.co/3LCWRTU
Cold Steel is known for their low-cost, pragmatic designs. This piece actually looks historically very accurate. The rondels were a secondary weapon used in close combat between knights in armor. The dagger/spike could puncture armor or be shoved between plates in order to pierce vital organs.
Got the "tactical" model of this when it first came out. Intimidating as hell. I fell out of love with it over time, but my wife adored it, so it's now hers!!! In my opinion, it's the nicest made, nicest looking piece CS has produced since the Scottish Dirk.
A nice addition to your collection. Unfortunately for a recipient of this Rondels business end, the wound channel would require a specialized suturing technique ( Purse String /Drawstring Stitch) to mend a less than lethal punture from that nasty blade. 😎
While it might not be a practical daily use tool today, the design is timeless. It just simply punches deep holes in people who desire your death. That is still relevant in some circumstances today.
I just love that Cold Steel still produces historically accurate weapons for people who are interested in purchasing them still. Love them or hate them, you have to respect their dedication to weaponry production. Be it a two in neck knife or a seven foot long sword. If you want one, they make one. I personally would not pick one of these up only because I already have two triangle trench knives by Cold Steel. So, I really don't need a third one in my collection. But, I absolutely love everything about this knife, including the historical accuracy of the sheath and handle's designs.
Now that's a wonderful dagger. Very tried and true historic design. I thought these style of daggers were banned by the Geneva Convention for use during war, but apparently that's only myth. Bayonets with a serrated edge I've discovered for some reason, are. Go figure, we can send a warhead launched by a drone that will liquify the organs of your target and his immediate family in proximity through concussive force and that's deemed ethical, but a slightly jagged piece of metal on a stick is a problem because it causes "unnecessary suffering".
I have both Cold steel Rondel daggers. The original larger length Rondel and the discontinued 8 " blade length Tactical Rondel. Both very nice triangular bladed daggers.
I've got their Warcraft magnum tanto in 4034 steel. Its not the best steel in the world but its razor shaving sharp and im not going to bushcraft, hit anything with it etc. its purely for self defense so it serves its purpose for my needs.
Since Mad Max times have come... You're gonna need a historical belt to carry that around correctly. At the small of your back horizontally or dangling.. its a backup weapon to your broadsword
Great vid, really digging the dagger/spike sorta theme lately, reminds me I need to look at sone cheap diving knives [got inspired by that one you showed off a few episodes ago] Daggers are manly as fuck 😎
I put together something like it, using an SKS spike bayonet, many years ago. But those bayonets are a lot more expensive today than they were back then.
Very nice. For some fantastic historic weapons, check out the work of Tod Cutler. As it says on his site, he makes" goods of excellent quality at exceptional prices".
@@WeAllJuggleKnives I can see it. YT is all messed up with the comments. Often I can't see my comments and I assume it got c"en-or'ed. Wild times we live in, keep up the great work!
The indian manufacturing is a no for me. Also, the triangle blade just seems sad compared to a traditional double-edged blade. Just get the glock knife without the serration.

The Shank by which all other shanks are measured.
One shank to rule them all, one shank to find them all, one shank to bring them in and in darkness bind them all...
couldn't resist, was watching lotr
Evil looking blade! Great call!

What a world we live in when freedom and being alive are controversial. Nice blade, carry on good sir.
Right on, brother!

Excellent. Cold Steel should have a surgeon testify in the commercial for this one, they would sell even more!
This is another one of those replicas that are witnesses of a different time in our history. I like it just for that. :)

Thank you for showcasing this dagger! I've been "very" curious about it for quite a while! Now I REALLY like it!!! Thnx again...
Glad you like it!
Beautiful piece!
Thanks for picking that up and showing it off; I have also wanted one for years but have held off for the same reasons!
This would pair nicely with several of CS's swords and tomahawks.
Love your channel. Keep doing what you're doing!
Thank you for your support!
Cool looking piece 👍
Nice review. Thanks man
One of my favorite CS reproductions
If only it could cut too, like WW2 Trench knives

For sure, Lynn was useful for doing things others won't!
I like the historical idea of owning one and it has been said that the wound they made is hard to close, and I like that about it also. 🎯
👍
Thanks! Never heard of it before but want one now!
Absolutely AWESOME piece. Thanks for showing us. Yea, I been eyeballing it for years just like so much of your collection.
Thanks for watching!
Ye old shiv!! Beautiful! 😍
Great review. I want to add one to my collection as well. I Enjoy your channel.
Awesome! Thank you!
Wow! Cool dagger my friend😎👍
Thanks, bro!
I love crazy things like freedom

Commenting for the algorithm
Would be great to make a cane hidden blade
That thing is naaaaassty! I want 1.
Gotta love the Cold Steel👍!
It’s a beauty, I am tempted!
In this case, I feel you should give in to temptation.
Thanks man! Interesting topic for a very utilitarian historical replica.I have no doubt it would be great for self defense or murder. Cool gear.
For sure!
How much are these. Oh yeah, Google is my friend.
Oh! It’s in the video.
@@pedromiguel3227 - About $130 right now, but probably going to go down to $115 or lower for the Xmas sales coming up.
I've been eyeing this as well. I'd like to see a thrust test.
I really like it, wish it was 2 inches shorter and half the price. Beautiful handle.
Two hands up for freedom, oh yeah baby!
Thanks, bro!
Supposedly this could break the chainmail links. Its my daily carry. People think im nuts 😂
Power to the very armed people ✊
A beauty. One for the list
That looks really nice
Glad you like! I've had my eye on this for quite a while.
Wow that one is cool , very nice 👍
Defeat body armor?
Freedom! 🇺🇸
Good info.
I prefer the gladius machete made in South Africa if you can still find it
Cool, have one!
The disk pommel is there so when a Medieval man at arms positioned the point in the knight's plate armor joint, he could hammer it in with his palm.
That's definitely getting into the goodies
That’s a pretty sweet blade. Should be tough in that steel too. Interesting to see a Joe-X style destruction test…
Looks cool
Still want them to bring back the Desperado.
O my.
I need this.... for historical purposes.
Algorithm lit.
It is amazing how many deadly history things I need and we all might need!
Since Mad Max times have come...
You're gonna need a historical belt to carry that around correctly. At the small of your back horizontally or dangling.. its a backup weapon to your broadsword
I will need several squires to carry my arsenal.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
welcome, my friend!
The rondel was almost always used in the overhand grip.
i like a good intention 👍👍
Good " Mad Max " blade... my HD tools use 5.56 ammo..
Very cool!!!!!
Glad you like it, my bro!
That wound would never close..
Nice review. Be a nice truck blade.
Cool “blade”?! Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for watching! It's a can opener for knights LOL.

Wonderful
Nice. Would love to have one, even better make one.

Bro can you do some night shots with Tsukitac flashlight.
Nice poker
Bayonet adaptation maybe
I like freedom.
That's the spirit :]
Just to inform all you beautiful people, this item is on sale for $118 right now
Yes indeed, 10% off sale, it's a sweet deal for Labor Day.
"Mad Max times" i say that

Yes, braveheart style!
I got one🗡👍
Excellent, it is a must-have for some of us!
Live is nothing with Out Freedom.
Freedom🎉
$114.10 at Chicago Knife Works with no tax & free shipping… I ordered one from there.
Good score!
It’s a cool item, but personally I wouldn’t buy Indian made, especially for that price.
Nice Rib Tickler...=)
Especially from the inside!
Very nice. For some fantastic historic weapons, check out the work of Tod Cutler. As it says on his site, he makes" goods of excellent quality at exceptional prices".
..❤
Come on you could edc that!
I will, when things go belly up LOL as they always do.
Nah it wasn't bushcraft lol. Sick spike man.
Henceforth he shall be known as Israel the Longshanks
100 dollars too expensive.
It is because other companies are afraid to make weapons like this, so there is no enough competition.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives wise thoughts buddy. Wise and true.
Thanks, I see YT actually removed my comment! (basically said competition would lower prices).

Thanks, I appreciate each one!
Just don't go drillin' more than one hole in the blade.
I was considering putting serrations on all three edges ... (in case of zombies).

I don't think they sell the Glock knife without the root saw over here anymore.
