I like the fact they aren’t sticking to the comics to an exact degree, but they still weave in aspects of the comic into the show. Not exactly who it was, but in the comics they explained how Compound-V will turn people into mindless zombies if brought back to life with it.
So very convenient for the story that they can just skip ahead a bit and all the consequences from the previous actions/episodes are magically whisked away.
He had brain damage probably why he was erratic and his brain had lack of oxygen and was brought back and was in a state of shock brain damage and why he didn't remember a lot and was going crazy because of it
He became a supe, then Hughie ended him with a tranq injection to his IV line....but they are searching for a virus to end supes? I might have missed something.
Yea depends on the person some dont have any super strength or skin they might get hit a with dumb powers but no super strength but others like homelander mave and others they have enhanced durability and strength been made very clear over the last 4 seasons
Pretty sure it's for his character to grow even more and to make the right decisions further on in the show. As in the comics when he cuts loose Butcher. Just a feeling, but the only thing that makes sense in my opinion.
I hope they don’t brush this event under the rug. Hughie doesn’t have the legal power of Vought to cover this up to the public
You do know by season 4 the boys work for the cia right?
@@amanueltamene2247 I’m well aware, it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have been brought up again

This isn't the same thing.
Hugh Sr isn't a mindless zombie here.
He simply has dementia which was hightened by the Compound V.
He is mindless what you think would pf happened if it got worse use ur brain lmao@@alltheworldsastage4785
He also didn't die, he was on the verge of death and the compound v brought him back from that
He could've been the most dangerous sup

Yea probbly some of the electrisity in his brain stoped happening

Yeah exactly
A virus is easier to spread than getting a supe to lie down and let you inject poison into their body

This was a filler episode. They copying anime now?
"Filler episode" nuh uh
this was such a stupid plotline. Almost as bad as man of steel's father-death-scene.
Still better than the Frenchie's forced gay scene
@@Cine_Insiderit was never gay, he was always stated to be bi since his introduction. Anyways, makes sense. He’s “French”
