All of a sudden, even with good eyeshadow primers, my eyelids got oilier and shadow started creasing right and left, so, along with the above suggestions, Prior to anything, I use a non oily makeup wipe on my eyelids, followed by a wipe of setting spray, then, I do as you suggested. This seems to have done the trick.
I am older, and still have a greaseball face. Thanks for al your oily skin hacks,

It’s great that I have to take it off, at the end of the day, with micellar water because IT’S STILL THERE!!!!

Thank you for sharing! The baking trick literally changed my life! I used to not be able to use any mascara no matter how good they are, because they would smudge all over my lid. Now I can go a whole day without retouching my eye makeup!

Could you please give more tips for oily lids? I want to use cream shadows, but they never dry down, no matter how long lasting & bulletproof they claim to be! Also...oily, hooded eyes are so frustrating! I finally get my eyeshadow looking decent, but in a few hours, my liner will have transferred from my lashline, to around my crease...due to the hooded, oily skin touching together. 😭

This was the 2nd day me trying this technique and I must say this is GENIUS!!! ❤️ nothing ever worked better than this on my eyes. Shadows, especially everyday more calm makeup on my eyes alllways almost disappear by the end of the day, regardless of how good the actual eyeshadow is!!! 🤩🤩🤩 this technique is perfection, I am so blown away by how great that worked for my oily lids. Love this tutorial. How about an update on routines for other makeup applications? Like how to avoid make up smudging off around the sides or eyepads if you wear glasses/sunglasses
I am way late to the party on this one but this is the most amazing thing! I don’t know why I never saw this video before. This works so well! Some shadows make me crease in 2 hours (my new favorite palettes do this 🤦🏻♀️) but with this technique, NO CREASING AT ALL!!! 12 hours in and not one crease!
