Technique is everything! It could be that your wearing the wrong foundation for your skin type. Girls often wear foundation that's too thick for their skin or it could be that your buffing it in with makeup brushes when you need a damp beautyblender

I have watery eyes too, what I have started doing is take a cotton swab and dry my waterline before I put any eyeliner on and the only thing that really works in my watery eyes water line is kohls. I've tried marc jacobs, UD, KVD, really every kind and the kohl liners are the only things that work well for me. It helps because they are very inexpensive.

Bake those areas where your glasses rest, specifically the nose area! It won't completely keep the makeup from coming off but it greatly reduces how much! It's worked wonders for me!
Will it still work if i just moisturize and apply a small amount of foundation and powder and set it with setting spray because I don't have eye shadow primer?

I like your videos and ideas but I wish that you would stop using heavy photoshopping for your thumbnail pictures. I would like to see the real thing. Since you have those problems, I'm sure you can take a decent picture that clearly shows those problems, instead of using photoshop to add it and make it overdramatic.
My under eyes crease so bad - even after baking, setting it with a small amount of powder, without any powder - no matter what I try nothing work's out 😭😭😭 it looks so cakey and is creasing so bad.. I've tried multiple eyeshadow primers too.. I don't know what to do..

Rachel Wright I’ve found, personally, that just my finger with no additional product and pressing gently over the area helps the most. Warmth from your finger+small amount of natural oils that come from it will help smooth out your foundation/concealer and minimize the look of settling 🤷🏻♀️
I will gently buff it with my finger. If I had a bit of foresight I might even have brought a "touch up kit" so I'll have a brush to buff it out with and then pat on some fresh powder
Wow it really worked..! I tested this technique out today, and the creasing in the smile line was so minimal that I didn't even thought about it..... after 5-6 hours of wearing the foundation, I remembered that I used this technique and thought to come here and verify....btw I was running late so I just stopped after step 2. where u put a bit of setting powder on the primer and then I applayed the foundation.. so I don't know how much better it can get if I follow all the steps... Look at the dollar tree for elf products :) i get most elf stuff from there. They have setting powder and the eyeshadow primer all the time there! And brushes
Idk if you still need help 3 years later but perhaps someone else will see this and benefit from it... If you can't get the products to do this, my best tip is to hardly apply any foundation there. Put it all over your face, avoiding the smile lines, and at the very end just gently blend it towards the smile lines so there's no obvious age, but put very minimal product right where the actual lines are
Elf makes a foundation adjuster that lightens your makeup. I noticed even when I use a shade of foundation that matches me (I’m pale) it will oxidize and turn orange but when I mix in the adjuster in it stays the right shade. It’s only a couple dollars for a tube!
I couldn't even see your smile lines at all! Mine show up as soon as I apply foundation 😫 then I have to stretch out my skin to get rid of creasing before I set with powder. I have dry skin too. I hope this helps... your videos are so innovative and HELPFUL!! Thank you!!😘😘😘

I don't have any either but my makeup still creases after a while - at the end of a full day of talking and making facial expressions I look a solid 10-15 years older due to how my foundation has creased
I have wrinkles on my forehead and it makes my makeup cake up so I have to put way less up there . Less concealer less powder. Less coverage. Because it'll just crease up and cause like major lines that are worsened from the makeup. Plus it makes my skin look super dry when this happens. ❤

Hi Nikkia, I absolutely Loved this video. I have a big problem with my foundation rubbing off of my nose. I have allergies and have to blow my nose quite a bit and I am always left with a patch of naked skin around my nose which just loooks terrible. Any suggestions ?

Use less product
5 years later this video is still a holy grail 👏. I just tried this with concealer because I don’t have eyeshadow primer. It works like a gem 💎

Maybe try a different concealer; some concealers are too thick and may be more prone to creasing.

If you're not a full coverage person. A bb cream (very pigmented or less) won't really crease

Mix the foundations. Closest lighter plus closest darker, you'll get your shade.

I couldn't even see your smile lines at all! Mine show up as soon as I apply foundation 😫 then I have to stretch out my skin to get rid of creasing before I set with powder. I have dry skin too. I hope this helps... your videos are so innovative and HELPFUL!! Thank you!!😘😘😘

I don't have any either but my makeup still creases after a while - at the end of a full day of talking and making facial expressions I look a solid 10-15 years older due to how my foundation has creased

I have wrinkles on my forehead and it makes my makeup cake up so I have to put way less up there . Less concealer less powder. Less coverage. Because it'll just crease up and cause like major lines that are worsened from the makeup. Plus it makes my skin look super dry when this happens. ❤

What foundation do you recommend? I have tried too faced and Lancome and a few drug store brands but I feel like I dont get enough coverage or I look orange and or oily. I appreciate any advice you have. ☺

Melissa ZS I would say put primer first since you don’t want to layer primer over the powder. I’m not a makeup expert but that’s what I do

Hi Nikkia, I absolutely Loved this video. I have a big problem with my foundation rubbing off of my nose. I have allergies and have to blow my nose quite a bit and I am always left with a patch of naked skin around my nose which just loooks terrible. Any suggestions ?
