Would you please do a tutorial or tips for how to stop makeup on your upper lip from sweating off? I was diagnosed with Hyper-hydrosis and my face sweats a lot through out the day; especially above my upper lip.
It's so frustrating because I can barely keep my foundation to set, even with using tons of powder.
Is there a better solution or technique to use ?

There are theatrical setting sprays made for the skin that arnt as harsh as hairspray but do the exact same job. Kryolan Fixier spray, Green or Blue Marble Selr (that's its spelling!) or Graftoban setting spray. I used to use hairspray as setting spray many years back, but id recommend these above on the skin now! (The green marble makes the makeup you put on practically water and sweat proof, ive worn full body paint using that all day and it hasnt come off, so can attest to its durability. The blue formula is kinder but just as hard wearing)

So talented! I've found that using a facial setting spray that does NOT contain alcohol really helps. Alcohol helps the spray dry faster, but a slower drying spray helps the foundation set better and helps keep your skin more neutralized, so it doesn't produce excess oil in response to the alcohol. Thanks Smitha!

I am trying this with the color corrector & foundation to cover the redness around the sides of my nostrils. Thank you, Smitha! This made my day. 👏🥰

Have you tried duplicating this technique w / Kryolan Fixing Spray? Also a theater makeup tool. I love it for Fixing my makeup in place as a final step and honestly smells a bit like hair spray, but great for all day events. Just not sure I would apply it to my nose before makeup like this. 💙💙very cool technique though!

I’ve been googling all weekend about this issue! And general patchy foundation. I’ve tried so many things and I’m like the other respondents- ready to give up on foundations! I’m going to try this tomorrow! Can the technique be done with lighter products like bb creams and can this hairspray thing be done with BOTH silicone and water based foundations? Thanks!

Wearing masks always rubs the makeup off my nose, so I've only bothered with foundation on the top half of my face! Yay, now I can go back to full foundation coverage, thank you Smitha!

Yes wearing masks all the time when I take mine off for a minute everyone knows which one it belongs to due to the makeup stains on it
