      Would you please do a tutorial or tips for how to stop makeup on your upper lip from sweating off? I was diagnosed with Hyper-hydrosis and my face sweats a lot through out the day; especially above my upper lip.
      It's so frustrating because I can barely keep my foundation to set, even with using tons of powder.
      Is there a better solution or technique to use ?

    So talented! I've found that using a facial setting spray that does NOT contain alcohol really helps. Alcohol helps the spray dry faster, but a slower drying spray helps the foundation set better and helps keep your skin more neutralized, so it doesn't produce excess oil in response to the alcohol. Thanks Smitha!

  • @sakara75
    @sakara75 2 года назад +850

    There are theatrical setting sprays made for the skin that arnt as harsh as hairspray but do the exact same job. Kryolan Fixier spray, Green or Blue Marble Selr (that's its spelling!) or Graftoban setting spray. I used to use hairspray as setting spray many years back, but id recommend these above on the skin now! (The green marble makes the makeup you put on practically water and sweat proof, ive worn full body paint using that all day and it hasnt come off, so can attest to its durability. The blue formula is kinder but just as hard wearing)

      You must be young then, because we all used hairspray as setting spray in the 90s lol

    Beautiful & awesome hack, thank you! Curious, what makeup remover / cleansing oil do you use to remove the nose & face foundation? And what modern setting spray do you now recommend for the nose, if any?

    I have this problem with my chin also. Even though I am older I have oily skin and still worry about breaking out with a huge pimple.

    Interesting tip! I would be afraid to try hairspray on my face, for concern of reaction. But .. I can't say, this isn't great instructions!! Great videos. Thank you dear.

    Can you do this trick for the whole face? My skin is prone to oily bouts and for a while I could get away with using baking loose powder without needing a top up, but now it goes so quickly and I get all oily and shiny and just feels gross

    Hi, question. Does this trick only work with hair spray, or could I just use a face setting spray instead? I have very sensitive skin and try to be careful with any products. Thank you for this video, helpful ideas here Smitha!
