I'm realizing I might need to have a few different base products on stand-by to get me through different seasons and skin cycles. I have been evaluating my stash of foundations and truly the one foundation for my 67 year old skin seems to be L'oreal serum foundation in light/med. It never collects in my pores (I have been using the elf gripping primer) and it does not give me polka dot pores at the end of the day. It looks so natural and after light powder stays set. I would love to try the Chantecaille cushion. I like that it comes with a refill, so that helps justify the initial price. I just wish they would sell the refills separately. Why do customers have to buy a whole new set after the first two cushions run out? Do you have any insight into that? Is the packaging shot after the two cushions are used? It seems like an odd choice for a company that seems to care about the earth/environment to not make the refills that they are already producing available for purchase separately once you've bought the compact initially. I'd love to know the reason why, if there is one.

      Hi Esther! I use Vanilla under my eyes, but Nude would work for me as well. xoxo

    Thanks for the video!! Would you say the first Jane Iredale (liquid with beads) has more coverage than a “skin tint” such as Rare Beauty, Summer Fridays, Ilia, etc? Thanks!

      I haven't tried the Rare Beauty and Summer Fridays one, but it has more coverage than the Ilia on me. xoxo

    Love you videos. Which CHANTECAILLE foundation would you recommend for combination skin. Normal to oily in tzone that has good coverage but looks like skin? I want to try one but can’t decide. Thank you so much

      I would check out the cushion as well as their "compact makeup" which is their powder foundation. It's beautiful! I actually have that one on today.

      @@MandyDavisMUA thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. Do you prefer Chantecaille over the Lancôme stick? Is the compact a medium to buildable coverage ? Thank you again for your help

      Hey Mandy! Love your videos and have for years. I have a GC to Nordstrom and am thinking of splurging on some Chantecaille foundation. Do you have an idea of how long the cushion would last if used every day? Thanks!

    Hi Mandy
    Which one has more coverage from the amazing base by jane iredale line. The pressed or loose? Thanks so much

    • @MandyDavisMUA
      @MandyDavisMUA  Год назад

      The loose has more pigment in the formula and will provide more coverage. 😀

      Hmmm...interesting. I have no issue seeing the color differences. Maybe it's your monitor. You can always google swatches of the colors if you find that will be more helpful.
