Yes! Thank you so much for posting Mandy. I was making my morning coffee when my computer beeped at me. It was your notification. I instantly couldn't stop smiling. I love you and I love your videos. Have a fantastic day and thanks again. Peace, Cal. ♥
Ok I think I can honestly say this is my favorite video! It was amazing!!!!!! Thank you Mandy you are truly a master and my favorite beauty RUclipsr ❤👍🙏
I love this! As a busy mom who typically lives in jeans and t-shirts, these simple, go-to eye looks are right up my alley to just slightly elevate my super casual (and often rushed) lifestyle. Great video idea! Also, I’ve been really enjoying the Dr. Ceuracle essence that I tried based on your recommendation - thanks!
Jeans and t-shirts are my go to as well, so I completely understand! Please let me know if you get the essence. I just ran out, and I told myself I would use my other ones up first, but I feel like my skin is already missing it.
I did get the essence about 2 weeks ago and have been loving it. It feels so nice and I think it’s really helped combat winter flakiness. I will be buying it again for sure!
@@MandyDavisMUA yes, I need your brow products, STAT!! Also, the 15 brush you used here is the only one you didn't mention and the one I am most curious about. Can we get the info, even if its no longer one in production.
Mandy, my eyes used to be just like yours, but now menopause and general aging has totally changed them. My main issue is the hollowing out under the eyes, not dark circles, literal hollows, which make the kind of eye make up look I used to wear much harder to achieve and less successful. I've loved watching this, as it was like a reminder of the kind of looks I used to reach for when my eyes had their true structure. Fabulous looks, and they look beautiful on you.
Sorry I sent the comment with out finishing my sentence, my absolute favourite is no . 3 the Charlotte Tilbury one I think ❤❤❤❤❤. Just so gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍🥰😍
Very helpful. I totally agree about the Viseart pallet. It is a must in any collection. Now, you have me wanting to try the Chantecaille Giraffe and Cheetah shades. I love the mermaid eye shadows but wondered if the luminescent eye shades were too sparkly
The luminescent ones are definitely more shimmery than the mermaid, but I don't find them to be overboard. The Lion and Giraffe have the least amount of shimmer in my opinion. xoxo
So I’ve been searching for a particular blush shade, a rosie or mauvish with a touch of a cool brown, for the past couple weeks and started to become discouraged. When low and behold I found it in the Jane Iredale blush shades Barely Rose and Dubonnet. So I thank you for that, Mandy, so so much!💖✨💕
@@MandyDavisMUA this is my first purchase from her line so I’m excited and I’ll have to browse around her site to see if anything else catches my eye. Who knows, I could become a devotee like yourself since you speak so highly of the brand.
Oh so pretty! I just purchased that Chantecaille mermaid eye color in copper and it's the perfect sheen of subtle color on my medium skintone, I want more lol. I love all those looks, but I think the Chantecaille one is my favorite 🥰 Thanks so much for these quick tutorials for some easy, flattering eye looks!
Your content is the absolute best on RUclips! I look forward to your videos every week. I'm so excited to see your channel growing because you are so deserving. I've been with your channel for a long time, and I just think you are incredible! Just wanted to say THANK YOU for you hard work and dedication to making outstanding videos that help us with products and techniques. Your consistency with uploading is very much appreciated. I also love that you are so organized and share all of the product links. So many content creators never share what they have on their face, only the product they are reviewing. You even link brushes! You are amazing, and I wanted to just simply say... THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this video!!! I LOVE all of your videos and this is no exception. Especially because I have every single product you used except for the bronzer. I get overwhelmed by all of the makeup I have and get stuck when trying to decide what eye look to wear 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ You definitely inspired me to keep it simple and I’ll still have a beautiful look without a thousand colors on ❤❤❤
loved it! learned a lot of technique and application tips! Would love a video like this using the different viseart palettes you have! Their formula and shades are so beautiful. I got the milieu palette based on your recommendation but am considering the warm palette or something else...
Ooh.. yes!! Another one of your “5 looks using” (or 10 or 20 lol) 5+ looks using visiart !! It’s been YEARS and I STILL watch your ABH and Makeup Geek versions !! LOVE THEM 👍❤️
Great video! So many good tips. I got the Rephyr eyeliner brush and it is the bomb! I also love Viseart shadows, as they have a bigger payout. I also use the Chantecaille mascara for special events. It is so expensive, but so good. I will definitely look into some of your other recommendations. Thank you for doing this. I have saved this video into a file for reference. Look 3 is my favorite.
Fun video, this was great!!! I loved all the looks on you, but I especially love the last one, you look even more stunning than usual :) Thanks for sharing your tips, and I appreciated the options to use just two colours for when we’re in a rush or traveling 👌🏼
So Mandy, the Chantecaille under the eyes is unbelievable. What magic is in there. I bought it and I didn’t like it but then re-tried, and after I watched you explaining about the under eyes. You are correct love your videos love your recommendations have a fantastic week.
Nice Video Mandy. I like 2 color looks easy. For darker lids I have medium tan skin tone - I have a hard time knowing what lighter shades to use I don't like my eyeshadow look to look too dark. 🙂 Any recommendations . I have that CT quad and I love it.
I would look for more champange/light bronze shades...basically anything that isn't a white/cream shimmer....which may come off too frosty on your skin tone. The Copper from Chantecaille would be gorgeous!
The chantecaille matte mermaid eye colors are my absolute favs. They have this satin quality that becomes more apparent the longer worn. I often have this dilemma where I’m torn between adding shimmer or keeping it all matte, the satin like quality makes these just perfect as lid shades. I love a bronzer/highlighter or bronzer/blush eyelook , it gives such a monochromatic completeness to the entire look. My favorite blushes to use on the eyes are the Nars baked gel formulas, its the subtle satin quality that makes them look so great on the eyes. Viseart neutral mattes, CT pillow talk & Tom Ford Nude dip are some of the most reached for in my collection. True HGs ❤this video, I have to look into the new Jane Iredel blushes…the shades are perfection!!
Thanks! I have done them in the past, and I am UBER uncomfortable in them. LOL I feel like they don't suit me well, but I am sure that is just because I don't do them often.
Loved, loved, loved the video, thanks!!!! I use 4 first looks on a daily basis and am sure everyone can do it!!!! For someone ,who has no cream eyeshadow ,the same you can do with powder shadow. Just your bronzer or blush in the crease and any favorite metallic or sparkl on the lid.done!!!! I always do my waterproof pencil in between lashes.
Hi Beverly! I will definitely put that on my list. If you haven't seen this video, I do a SUPER easy but beautiful eye look on one of my mature clients who has hooded eyes: ruclips.net/video/k6YCbLG-lQc/видео.html&ab_channel=MandyDavisMUA
Hello Mandy 😊 Really great looks and i put my eyeshadow on the bottom also, it looks tidy 😊😄 I do like the shimmer on my lid more but I've done a matt look and i love it too 😅
I love how you simplified all the looks! May we see some applications with other color ways? Blue, gray, violet possibly? CT popularized the warm peachy tones several years ago and I've seen a lot of orange shadow, on everyone...
Hi Andrea! I don't tend to go with the warm, peachy tones because of trends, but because they are what suit my skin and eye coloring the best. I will try and get some models...grays don't compliment me personally at all; tend to wash me out and make me look tired, and other than the Viseart palette, I don't have many in my collection. But I will definitely be on the lookout for people who they would look better on.
Thank you! I don't have oily lids, so I don't have an issue with creasing as much as I do discoloration. For that, I always prep my lids with the NARS Soft Matte Concealer. xoxo
Thank you Shannon! I am so mad at myself for not writing down what lip I was wearing in the looks, because I knew I would get asked, and I completely forgot! I am so sorry!
Thank you so much, this was very helpful even though I have super hooded eyelids and cream/stick formulas don't work for me. A few videos back you were wearing a neutral look where you used the Warm Neutrals palette from Sigma. I assume you used the same technique as your look n2 in this video, right?
You are so welcome! Can you let me know which video it was? I may have a grwm where I use that palette for that exact look, but I use that palette in the way I do looks #2 and #3 for sure!
This won’t work for my more mature hooded eyes with loose skin and small eyelids. How would I do these looks as a55 plus hooded eyes when excess skin is moving. Please let me know. Thanks Julie
I love these looks! However, the lighting makes them all look the same….when you say pink…its brownish….when you say gold, it looks like white….is it just my screen? I’d like to use colors I already have, but its very hard to determine shade differences…..I hope this makes sense. Again, I love your looks…..and your channel!!!
NGL, my 2-shadow looks always end up looking better on me than when I use 3-4-5-etc LOL. Highly recommend for all eye shapes!!
Oh 100%!!
Honestly Mandy, these types of videos are my personal favourite 💜
I appreciate that they are non fussy and almost always use 2 colours (maybe 3).
