I tried the liquid minerals and just love it! It makes my skin look beautiful. Like my skin but perfected. It is matte but glows. It moisturizes but isn’t dewy and oily. Just perfection. Can’t describe it any other way! I don’t even set it or use powder. And people always tell me how great my skin looks. Thanks for all the glowing reviews. I never would have tried it otherwise. 🤗
Dear mua May this beautiful new year bring love and happiness to you and your unique beautiful soul, your beautiful soul deserves love and happiness, my dear friend, I wish you all the best, happy and beautiful years.
I have a similar combo to your first one. Mine is the Estée Lauder double wear and the Laura Mercier loose mineral foundation ( no longer available and I have backups of).
My current fave base is Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood flawless filter under the Jane Iredale liquid minerals. Then set with Glo Skin Beauty luminous setting powder. I don’t set my cheeks though. It’s so good!
Loved this video. One of my favorites lately! I use both Jane products in your last look. You got me started on Jane Iredale and I now have more of her products than any other line…..love them all. 💗
Love all the Jane Iredale Products.. I too finished a bottle of the liquid minerals foundation… is that good ❤️. I apply it with my fingers too, it spreads better. Have a Merry CHRISTmas Mandy ❤️🎄
All three looks are gorgeous, Mandy. However, being a Jane gal, look #3 is my favorite. I purchased that tint almost two years ago on your recommendation and haven't looked back. The Pressed Powder is also one of my favorites. I find it works well with other skin tints, too.💕
Love this video! I'm ordering the two that I don't have...Lancome and Chanel! Thank you for the ideas! You are my "go-to" for all things makeup and skincare!

@@MandyDavisMUA, I tried it last night for NYE. I loved it, but I love that foundation anyway. Truly the best one I've tried this year! I've purchased about 12 foundations to try this year, trying to find my HG, and so far, the Lancôme has been it!
Terrific video idea Mandy. The Jane Airedale Liquid Minerals is a summertime favourite. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Armani Powder (the new one) - I too am coveting the remainder of the previous one.
Thank you! I used the Chanel corrector in all of these looks. I also love the FitGlow Beauty Corrector in Peach, the jane iredale Enlighten Plus concealer in "01" as a corrector and the Beauty Pie Under Eye Brightener. xoxo
I have been having some dryness around my mouth from Tretinoin and have been reaching for the JI Liquid Minerals and applying it in that area first and then regular foundation on top and it really helps!!!! Thank you for that recommendation!!!
Thanks Mandy! Because of you, my foundation of choice is absolutely the JI liquid minerals. I realize at my age, I'm more interested in the smoothing quality of a foundation, rather than the coverage. And this delivers that perfectly! A little powder on top of my pores (IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores works like a dream) and I feel flawless. Best Foundation Ever!!!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you for another year of wonderful videos! xo
Hi Mandy, this is a random question, but I thought of you...have you ever used MAC Creme color base in "Hush"? It's a peachy, creamy/thin/easy product that makes the most beautiful, natural looking highlight. I've had it for a long time & was curious since you love peachy highlights. 🍑
What a great video, Mandy!!! I have the liquid minerals and need the powder foundation to go with it! I have the spf brush on minerals in my Ulta cart right now, I’ve wanted those for a long time too. Have a blessed Christmas!!!! Xoxox

Hi Mandy. Considering that the Lancôme Teint Idole foundation was reformulated, do you still love it in combination with the Jane Iredale Amazing Base? Thanks for your thoughts!
Great video, as usual, Mandy! Did you do a video on the bronzer and blush linked below? I’m interested☺️My daughter loves the JI liquid minerals like I do! It’s beautiful. She has Suntan and I use Latte…they’re very close in my opinion.

The last few videos your eyeshadow look in the pinkish/rose gold has been gorgeous! What palette and application process are you using? I think you have green eyes. Mine are seafoam green and this look would be perfect! Thanks. Love you and your Nashville accent...coming from a Bama girl.
Hi, Mandy! I know this is an older video, but I thought I'd reach out just in case you see this comment (You're always so kind and helpful and knowledgeable!). I'm having some trouble getting the Liquid Minerals to play with my mineral sunscreens. I usually use Elta MD Elements or Restore, but neither really seem to work (although they're a dream with the powders). Same with my MD SolarSciences and IS Clinical Eclipse. I wait about 20 min after sunscreen to apply the Liquid Minerals. ALL that to say, what are your favorite mineral sunscreens to pair with the JI Liquid Minerals? And, any thoughts on what I might be goofing up? Thank you so much for your time and for sharing your expertise with all of us!
@@MandyDavisMUA Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and try to help me, I really appreciate it! I usually apply my mineral sunscreen, wait about 20 minutes for it to dry down (a touch) and then apply Liquid Minerals with my fingers. I rub the LM in between my fingers/hands for a bit first and then apply just like a moisturizer. For whatever reason, it's creating a texture similar to peeling from a sunburn and trying to put something over it -whitish, separated "patches". I'm guessing it's the aloe (which I love as in ingredient), just not sure why it's happening. Maybe I got a fluke bottle? It definitely doesn't apply like it does in your dedicated Liquid Minerals video. I love the ingredients, so I don't want to give up! As a sidenote, I wanted to express my gratitude to you. I so appreciate your approach on makeup, that you don't try to "modify" people, just enhance who they already are. As someone who has had hooded eyes since I was a kid (and close set, too!), it's nice to watch your application on other people and that you don't make them into something else. There is not one way to be beautiful! There is not one make-up look! Watching you has helped me not feel inadequate, or broken or "wrong" for having a different face shape. Thank you for that!
@@GoodDirtStudio oh my goodness, you are so welcome!! EVERY face and eye shape is beautiful in my opinion. I am stumped to be honest as to why this is happening with the liquid minerals. I have never had that issue when I apply over many of the spfs you mentioned. I wish I could be more helpful!! I wonder if trying it with a brush would work better??
@@MandyDavisMUA I mean, most likely, I'm doing something totally dumb. I live in Athens, GA, but if I ever drive up to Nashville - and you're still taking private makeup lesson clients- I think nothing is a bigger cry for help than not being able to apply what's basically a tinted moisturizer, haha. Heard a lot of good reviews about the shiseido radiant foundation is better than the shiseido self-refreshing. I know you tested the self-refreshing but was wondering if you could test the radiant.
Loved all these looks! Do you wear the same shade in the Lancôme stick foundation as the liquid foundation? I love love love the stick foundation and am now interested in the liquid 😍
Mandy, I your opinion is the Jane Iredale loose mineral powder foundation more or less hydrating when compared to Inika mineral loose powder foundation?
Loved this video! I’m going to have to try that Chanel foundation. Gorgeous! But you got me started on JI and I love wearing this combo. Question: I got the handi brush and love it but after a while it started to go concave in the center (dip in) making it not as effective. I do have the newer version which is synthetic. Do you think this is because it’s synthetic, or because I may be pressing too hard? Do you think minerals go on better with synthetic or natural bristles? Thank you!
Hey Terri! I am thinking maybe it's an issue of pressing too hard. I put very little pressure on my brush as I apply, and I have had no issues. I use it personally, and I have a few in my kit as well. I hope this helps! Oh, and if you are going to use a brush with liquid minerals, I would use synthetic for sure.
I love the Lancome foundation too - it’s my daily routine. The last look was gorgeous as well. Is it long lasting? Does it shine or start slipping in a few hours? Thanks so much!
Thank you! Yes, all of these looks are long lasting on me, and they tend to stay the same luminosity throughout the day as they are at the beginning, which is another reason I love them. :)
Your use different shades in the liquid minerals and the purepressed base. May I ask why? I have the shade satin in the liquid minerals and was wondering if I should stick with the same shade or different in the purepressed based. What is typical? Thank you much!
No reason other than I like the depth of the Suntan in the liquid minerals. The Golden Glow is a little lighter than I like to do. :) But you definitely can use the same shade no problem!
Thanks Katherine! Yes! I wear SPF 365 days a year. The first and third look I am wearing the Supergoop Mineral MatteScreen and the middle is the Elta MD UV Restore. :)
I think that foundation is one of the more subjective categories in makeup. For everyone that loves one, there will be people who don't. I am just sharing what works for me, and the Lancome definitely does.

@@MandyDavisMUA Thank you so much for your lovely and very helpful reply Mandy!I dont think its bad of you not to check that sort of thing- not that many people associate gluten etc with make up! So glad you said you love mixing up make up and i can mix the powders- A shop had 40%(?) sale on the inika loose foundation so i went ahead and purchased the darker , slightly warmer shade Patience too ( i do think the lighter shade, Nurture, is my correct colour though... possibly even lighter shades at times!)! LOL. It really does feel wonderful on- even though i definitely have dry skin. Thank you SO incredibly much for your comment about lightness/ darkness and mixing etc - it really is incredibly helpful.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and happy new year!
