Even though I’m using Droplette collagen and glycolic capsules on a regular basis I still need moisturizers and other products to round out my routine. Because Droplette ingredients are the heavy hitters for my skincare I appreciate some more affordable options to complete what I need.
I love that you’re reviewing Naturium! I love Susan Yara as I’ve watched her for several years. Despite her bad launch and apology... she’s always been inclusive, supportive of small brands, and small creators (before it was a “trend”). She’s never been competitive in the beauty space, in fact she welcomes all types of creators and is also transparent about what type of stuff she’s done to her face, including botox and filler. Also, I might be biased because she’s half Korean and Mexican and my sister-in-law is Korean and grew up in Mexico 🥰 I just wanted to leave this here because I know there will be hate. In the skincare community, of course we need to hold people accountable for their actions. But we also need to remember to NOT be reactive, but proactive. This is the difference between cancel culture and accountability culture. If you don’t support Susan that’s fine, just don’t continue to spread hate. I recently started using Azelaic and Tranexamic serums from Naturium, and I've seen a significant improvement on my skin. It is crazy but not even a week has passed and I've already noticed less redness on my face (basically none) and the melasma has brightened a lot. I don't know what sourcery is contained in these prods but it is a real good one and I highly recommend it.
Frank is such a sweet fluffernutter! Thank you so much for the tip in using the Vit C oil. I'd love to cut the texture a smidge. I just used it on my arms and legs not to waste it, so I'm glad to have a way to use it on my face again! 🤗🤗🤗

I also recently bought the U beauty Resurfacing Compound, and I agree with you that there is a comparable effect! I also really like their niacinamide serum, and I’m going to try their tranexamic acid as soon as I’m done with my Queen 7 in 1 serum. I just love your videos (and your friend Frank 😂)!

Based on your reviews, I’ve purchased the Ziip, Miolyft, Newa, Faustina (though it burned my face, it was worth a try). Thanks again for your honesty and thoroughness.
When something has been formulated in a lab, it's fine because it's been pH balanced to be effective together and not irritating. Think of epiduo (BP/adapalene). It would be an issue if you were trying to play amateur chemist yourself. The site says it can be used morning and/or night. If using in the day, use SPF.

does encapsulated retinol have less side effects? I know prescription retinol gives me a migraine so I started using plant like retinols to not get side effects

Their Azelaic acid would be an option for rosacea. Unfortunately it’s hard to give a firm YES without assessing your skin. Rosacea is so individual and what may trigger yours is pretty personal. I wish I had a better answer!

I think over time I over exfoliated and really messed up my skin barrier. Now it seems like any active ingredient I use gives me a terrible reaction 😭 all I can use is the bare minimum right now and it’s been months! I’m using a snow mushroom serum which I love and a moisturizer but that is it. Everything else has started to dry my face terribly. Such a bummer.
Try the Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb, Beta Glutcan Power Moisture Serum, I use these all the time and only use these when skin barrier is messes up. Good luck.
Thank you for this. I’ve been seriously considering Naturium. Unfortunately I’ve gone almost 3 years w/out practicing good skincare because… because life. 🤷🏻♀️ I stopped short of choosing it because at least one of their products uses bees wax (although they say it’s ethically sourced,) it’s considered to be an animal byproduct and I think we’re far enough along now to where we shouldn’t have to depend on animals-who have no say-for one more ingredient to beautify ourselves. On the other hand ethically sourced bees wax-is it THAT bad? I’m not nearly educated enough-it’s overwhelming. Soo many products. Soo many ingredients. 🤦🏻♀️ This was so very helpful. 🌼
I just so enjoy your educational videos! I have been using azelaic acid but then heard just a snippet on a Dr. Dray talk which said the studies are from using it at 20% …. Which I couldn’t find. There is a cream product, melazepam, sold on Amazon, which is 20%. Bit hard to rub in but it’s faded the red skin around my nostrils haha! I put the Touch product on my wish list. Oh and I do think her tranexamic acid is super I love it!

Penn do you know the percentage of the Vit C? I sent them an email asking and they would not tell me. Which I thought was really odd. I heard it was very low percentage even though it’s at the top of the list. So I hoping you would know.

I just bought the Vit C couple weeks ago due to Penny recommendation, but after using it for a while I haven’t see the same results a had with other Vit C ( ascorbic acid ) so I started looking for the PH which is 5.5-6 wayyyy to high for ideal absorption which is at 3.2- 3.5
Isn’t skin pH 4 to 6. 3 sounds so low. Also, I think it’s 22 percent . The original naturium launch video had different packaging with the percentage of vitamin c listed

does encapsulated retinol have less side effects? I know prescription retinol gives me a migraine so I started using plant like retinols to not get side effects

Just wondering if you've tried the Lightbulb Serum from Ghost Democracy. It's an 18% THD serum, very lightweight, my current fave vit C. I love THD as well, less stinging for me than LAA.

Their Azelaic acid would be an option for rosacea.
Unfortunately it’s hard to give a firm YES without assessing your skin.
Rosacea is so individual and what may trigger yours is pretty personal.

I think over time I over exfoliated and really messed up my skin barrier. Now it seems like any active ingredient I use gives me a terrible reaction 😭 all I can use is the bare minimum right now and it’s been months! I’m using a snow mushroom serum which I love and a moisturizer but that is it. Everything else has started to dry my face terribly. Such a bummer.
Try the Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb, Beta Glutcan Power Moisture Serum, I use these all the time and only use these when skin barrier is messes up. Good luck.
Thank you for this. I’ve been seriously considering Naturium. Unfortunately I’ve gone almost 3 years w/out practicing good skincare because… because life. 🤷🏻♀️ I stopped short of choosing it because at least one of their products uses bees wax (although they say it’s ethically sourced,) it’s considered to be an animal byproduct and I think we’re far enough along now to where we shouldn’t have to depend on animals-who have no say-for one more ingredient to beautify ourselves. On the other hand ethically sourced bees wax-is it THAT bad? I’m not nearly educated enough-it’s overwhelming. Soo many products. Soo many ingredients. 🤦🏻♀️ This was so very helpful. 🌼

I just so enjoy your educational videos! I have been using azelaic acid but then heard just a snippet on a Dr. Dray talk which said the studies are from using it at 20% …. Which I couldn’t find. There is a cream product, melazepam, sold on Amazon, which is 20%. Bit hard to rub in but it’s faded the red skin around my nostrils haha! I put the Touch product on my wish list. Oh and I do think her tranexamic acid is super I love it!

Penn do you know the percentage of the Vit C? I sent them an email asking and they would not tell me. Which I thought was really odd. I heard it was very low percentage even though it’s at the top of the list. So I hoping you would know.

I was wondering the same. I just bought the Vit C couple weeks ago due to Penny recommendation, but after using it for a while I haven’t see the same results a had with other Vit C ( ascorbic acid ) so I started looking for the PH which is 5.5-6 wayyyy to high for ideal absorption which is at 3.2- 3.5
Isn’t skin pH 4 to 6. 3 sounds so low. Also, I think it’s 22 percent . The original naturium launch video had different packaging with the percentage of vitamin c listed

Can you do a review of Ghost democracy at some point? I absolutely love it as a THD vitamin C. I was a truth treatments girl, and don't get me wrong I love truth treatments. I just can't always afford it. I have been loving the ghost democracy products.
