My jowls, turkey neck and double chin appeared out of nowhere about a year ago. I am 47. Thank you for this video. I did just purchase the Hooga red and NIR bulb and it just arrived today. I also ordered some peptides, and have just started using Clareblend microcurrent and have the Medicube EMS device, but it hurts my teeth. I ordered some dental gauze and will try again today. I am going to order some AHA today! I also want to start microneedling and adding in RF or HIFU. I did download your guide and have watched your videos on frequency of these modalities and am going to be following this. You have been the most helpful to me in the last month or so, when I started researching how to help my issues. Again, thank you so much for your content. It is so incredibly helpful!
You are, BY FAR, the best on RUclips to follow for any woman of any age. I wish I had started researching how to lift my lower face earlier because if I had known ANY of the info I have learned from you I wouldn’t be in the shape I’m in now trying to play catch up at 48 years old. Literally all my dermatologist has told me for years is to wash my face with CeraVe, use their moisturizer that has sunscreen in it (which isn’t much), and use Retin-A! I have some places on my face I ask her about every year and she says what the are so fast I can’t even understand her. I took a deep dive into all your videos and started from the beginning. I learned what they are from you! It is exactly what they look like and sounds like what she says really fast every year I go for my check up. Sebaceous hyperplasia. I don’t have a ton of them, but at least I know what they are and my limited options now. Also, I want to tell you that in the more recent videos when you talk about having hyperpigmentation and how you have to fight it, I couldn’t imagine you having much of an issue. But, you did and it was so apparent when you forgot to conceal under your eyes when you were testing out a product that was a primer to give makeup a glass like appearance. I see videos of you now all the time with NO makeup on and it is incredible to see the difference. You are living proof that you know what you’re doing and from 2 or 3 years ago, you have turned back the clock, sister! You were beautiful no matter what, but there were things I wouldn’t have even noticed if I hadn’t heard you talk about it in recent videos that I can now see you really did struggle with before, even a little bit of a downward smile. I have one side that goes up and the other goes down, so to see improvements from the person who is giving the advice is so encouraging! You’re a natural beauty, but the proof is in the pudding. I know you’ve mentioned that you teach putting in extensions, you teach all of us who feel like we know you, research, and all that goes on behind the scenes with your social media and blogs, you are a wife and mother. I don't know when you sleep! Thank you so much for opening my eyes to better skincare and devices. You're amazing!!!
Haha! Yes. 1 Ultherapy, 2 Profounds, multiple IPLs, BBLs, Halos, expensive skincare and now at home microneedling later (your videos have been a God send for me), you might say I’m concerned with sagging skin. 😊 I’m so grateful for your generosity in sharing your knowledge! Thank you!
Hi PENN, Very informative video, thanks! Now it would be wonderful if you could tell us how to use the products, if they could be combined, layered or if they should be alternated day and evening, this would be so helpful! Again thanks for the help! Love your advise!
I have been using Paula’s Choice 8% cream almost every day at their recommendation for several years. I am a sailor and one year finished the summer with leather skin. This is wonderful but takes a few months to show results.
Hi Penn, I had microneedling today, Botox and filler in my jowls and cheeks. I have asked you questions before, I’m 76. I really like the lady that did these procedures. I told her about your channel. I have really learned so so much from you so I know what to expect from treatments. Her numbing cream was so so great, I didn’t feel a thing. She said it was 400%. The nano needles she used didn’t leave any spots on my face like other ones I had done did. I’m really not needing any thing answered today just wanted to let you know how much I love your channel and all the information you give us. Great video today, HUGS Karen
Thank you so much Karen! I thought of you when I made this video because it’s a great protocol for my mom....and you also!! I’d be more conservative on the vitamin A and then hydroxy acids for you both (use them less frequently) but both the LED and squalane are PERFECT for you both! 💜
PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE Thanks so much! Where I went for the microneedling she is getting a LED machine that shows deep into your face of the damage so they can tell which color you need. She told me probably yellow! It is a real expensive machine ( I think they all are 🤪). I think it will be one of one or two that are already in Idaho. It will be up and running in January! I’m so so excited for it and to get RID of my BROWN spots! I totally detest them. I’m soooooooo glad I found this spa, they know what they are doing and she is a RN. I’m anxious to see what my face looks like when all the filler gets into place and the Botox is working! Have a great day and looking forward to your Q and A today!❤️❤️👍
PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE what do you think about matrixyl and copper peptides?? Also the video you had about ur ice roller and jade roller that had a tip on one end.....I am having a terrible time finding that jade roller! I looked on the link you put up for that but it wasn’t there! Any suggestions where I might find one? How do we know if our copper peptides is GHK-CU or SRCP? Thanks 💜💜
Penn.Smith.Skincare - 1. Which oral supplements do you recommend that help keep a youthful appearance and also help reduce signs of aging that have already begun to aggravate us? (Aside from eating boat loads of raw Broccoli Sprouts.) 2. What are your thoughts on consuming Vitamin A (palimated or performed Vitamin A vs. Beta Carotene Vitamin A. in concert with consistently applying a broad spectrum skincare product? P.S. Ladies, if you don’t know this, on RUclips please look up the scientific research provided on the evidence of anti-aging/ anti-cancer that comes with eating raw broccoli sprouts!! It’s ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING! 🤯🙌🏼🥰
this is the first time I've heard explained that exfoliation does more than just topical skin removal. I'm more invested in peels now than I was. Thanks Penn :-)
Best tip is from the inside out anti aging. Since I went plant vegan my life has changed. My skin, hair and nails, body is amazing. Give it 6 months total to see what eating all those plants can do.
I have been using a lot of these products for a year now and seeing results. Morning : isclinical superserum which is Vit c plus the copper growth factors. Than I use HA and osmosis hydrate and an spf Pm routine : osmosis stem growth factor, rescue , isclinical polyvitamin serum and osmosis renew which is the retinaldehyde with no irritation from any of these products. Highly recommend purchasing from Skinbeautifulrx. Leah is so knowledgeable abt the products and very honest abt what you need !
I don’t know how old this video is but I’m 74 and I’m going to watch this video. Yes this is my issue. I have used the ordinary, derma roll, NuFace, but I’m not constant.
It’s like you read my mind on your topics! Sagging is -by far- my number one skin concern. Jowls and neck issues 😩 I’m also SO glad you mentioned copper and even made product recommendations !! I had read somewhere how powerful it is in fighting aging skin. Thank you for teaching us so much. You must have to be researching all the time to get your information. My question is how to use all these 5 recommendations? What goes on the skin first and what can or cannot be mixed? I had read somewhere that vitamin C doesn’t “play nice” with some products. If so, what order do we layer? Can you recommend a skin regimen for everyday of the week- day and night? What I’d really love is a monthly skin regimen with micro needling/facial peel scheduling included. I know that’s asking a lot, but any insight will help. Thanks SO much, Penny. You’re the best! 🥰
Laura I so hope she answers your post in the Q&A vid posted today. (I’m behind on videos) Because it is like somehow you, Laura, are in my brain and asked & said exactly what I need! 😆 I have most of the key ingredients that she recommended in my skincare routine now, but I want to make sure that I am layering them correctly. And I still have not figured out where to add derma rolling. 🙄
Michelle Mc. That is so funny how we skincare junkies think alike. 😊 I posted that question before scrolling down seeing some others asked before me. So I can’t say I’m the only one asking what order to use these great skincare products. I always start a monthly chart of what to do when in skincare scheduling and then never stick with it. I haven’t watched today’s video yet, but I will 😉. Thank you so much for the comment and have a great weekend! 😍
I had the word Sagging in my mind just before you said that. I guess I’m not the only one. Thanks for all this educational videos and the work you put into it. Like your style , is very easy to listen .
I feel same thing what same thing . Soon as i turn 43 my skin on neck and now my jaw line and i am all ready spend so much money but nothing is helping. I am so glad I found your channel. Thanks
😁 Thank you, dad, for passing down your oily skin! I haven't complained about the oil since I was a teen. I am so glad I didn't inherit my mom's Sahara desert skin! I never noticed sagging skin until I was in my late 50s. 💜
Been following Anne since she first started on RUclips. Now I will follow you. I am much older than you. I am more in the mature population. I do feel you are never to old to learn new things. I go to my dermatologist several times a year & to her spa every other month as I have had basal cell carcinoma from teen sun worship. I just watched a special on Vitamin C this was concerning metastatic cancer that was no longer being helped by chemo. They used infusions of high doses of Vitamin C that put the cancer in remission. The people involved in the study also juiced vitamin C and injested 3 times a day. One of the benefits was brighter, less wrinkled skin, tightened skin.
Penn!! Thanks to you I found copper peptides and you are correct.... They are a game changer. Dr pickart's products at skin biology are amazing as well as his customer service. They sing your praises too!! Thanks again for everything you are doing for us.
Thank you for this video. I am so glad I just found this.I just started adding most of these products into my skin care regimen two weeks ago and yesterday purchased the Celluma lite LED system. I was so happy to find your video to follow along. I am very bothered by the sagging I am seeing in my jowls and I am hoping the LED starts to show a difference. I was going to do a video of the 30 day results, but every youtuber is so young and pretty...I think I may not video this after all. If I do I won't show it!! lol! You are an inspiration to us all.
@@LUTfam4 Hi Tiffany! I am beginning to see results with the Celluma Lite and the vitamin C and Ferulic Acid combo. People have been commenting on what great skin I have. I am 62. The girl at the bank asked me if I was planning on having more kids or just the one...I laughed all the way to my car. Maybe she needs glasses.
Omg! I finally found an answer to something I've been thinking about nonstop for months now. I haven't been able to research this specific thought because it isn't the easiest thing to Google or find an answer to. I've been wondering if the exfoliating action of AHAs alone is what stimulates collagen or if the AHAs themeselves bind to receptors or somehow tell skin to create more collagen. I am glad to know the answer now :) The reason I've been wondering about this is because I've been wondering if it is beneficial to use an AHA in addition to using retinoids for maximum collagen building ability. Since most of my "resurfacing" comes from Tretionoin, I have been wondering if it would be beneficial to also add in an AHA but figured it wouldn't be necessary for additional resurfacing. Now that I have the answer and that AHAs actually signal collagen specifically, logically it seems like incorporating both would be beneficial? Thoughts? Yes, I am aware these can both be irritating. I only incorporate AHAs when my skin isn't irritated from Tretinoin. I have been on Tret for about 8 months and no longer irritated or sting from it. So I've been using AHA either in the AM and Tret at PM or alternating nights with both.
Sagging isn't my #1 concern right now but I can already see with my facial structure that jowling is going to be an issue. Ugh. Going to pull out my Dr. Dennis Gross LED eye mask again. It's just so difficult to keep up something when you don't see immediate results.
Could you touch on medical / salon skin tightening treatments such as Ultherapy, Thermage, Sculpta Mask, Full Depth Laser, etc. with respect to the benefits and limitations of each ?
Stay away from ultherapy. Look it up on real self.com, I’ve done it. Zero results, expensive, and tons of pain. Some people have had permanent damage on their face.
I can only speak for myself and my own experience with Ultherapy I tried it and it works for me, I see remarkable improvement in my double chin! Yes there is pain and discomfort, However, I found that with most procedure's that address deeper layers of the skin can be painful. Like I said I'm speaking from my own experience. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!
if you could plz also talk about milia. how do we get rid of milia under eyes and what eyecream or gel or skincare do y recommend for milia prone under-eye skin??
Hi Penn! While I am dying for your next video, I have a question. What do you think about the antioxidant Troxerutin?? Is it really that good? There is a new product out with the following ingredients. Do the ingredients look good to you? Thanks as always! STAR INGREDIENTS Troxerutin: antioxidant that helps relieve, and prevent irritation, dryness, and inflammation. Cica: a botanical extract that helps combat inflammation. Aloe: contains antioxidants, enzymes, and is known to be highly anti-inflammatory. Niacinamide: helps brightens dark spots and combat inflammation INGREDIENTS Centella Asiatica Extract, Glyceryl Glucoside, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Troxerutin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract, Viola Mandshurica Flower Extract, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Betaine, Panthenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil
These ingredients look very good to me! I’ll take a little time and really dissect the ingredient deck and give you a more thoughtful answer but just a quick glance and I like it!
My face is melting due to a previous illness which caused me to lose a lot of weight from malnutrition, and even though it's been 2 yrs since my illness, I have gained back a healthy amount of weight(more like fat) but it has not transferred to my face. It truly is melting and I'm only 58 yrs old. I lost most of my muscle throughout my body and physical injuries prevent me from exercising which is not helpful either. I have tried HA fillers which did nothing to my sagging midface and while still using products, I'm seeing very little improvement. Full facelift is not financially feasible for me so yes, SAGGING tips would be very helpful.
Maureen Perez Hi, I have had exactly the same thing happen to me! I see no one has responded to your post - I’m really sorry and I hope you get a reply of where to start... I’ll be watching for it for myself too!
@@barbiekat6352 Thank you for your kindness. It's a mess, but I get so frustrated with the high prices for skin care, skin devices, you name it. I am going to buy that lift wand for my Xmas present to myself . Amazon has it for 136.00 which is pretty cheap for such a device. The mini with the 2 probes I believe is 200.00 plus and that's for one. Another led/current that has been flashed around you tube costs 700.00 or something. You'd have to be a dermatologists or doctor to afford all this stuff. That's on Christine Byer's site. Out of my price range... For my saggy face, I am trying Multi-Sculpting Cream from CItyBeauty.com. I think I pay about 40.00 monthly which is more affordable than many things. If you have similar sagging in your face, go to their website and check it out. I am seeing a difference after 2 months of use. Not a lot... but a little. There is a compound called progerin that causes faces and body to age and this product is suppose to counter it so perhaps there is science behind it. They have a lot of interesting products under 100.00 which aren't quite as expensive as Drunk Elephant and other high end products and there is a guarantee or money back. Good luck to you as well and I'll save my copy of this message should I find other products that might work for you as well. If you want to discuss any of these topics there must be a way to share info without putting our emails on this platform. Probably would not be very safe or secure. Otherwise, thank you again for getting in touch. It's nice to know I'm not the only one with these issues.
Maureen Perez I just saw your reply! Oh and thanks for the tips! I’ll be checking back here to to see if you have posted anything new. I’ve see the thing on CB’s channel and was thinking about it too! Gotta go now but so glad to connect with you! ❤️
Can you please make a current video on the best products for the ingredients that you are mentioning to be able to buy as a good dupe with the ingredients mentioned. Thanks have learned so much I’m 57 and I use good ingredients and look good but you are my attention to detail wizard with ingredients! Please soon make the video!
What an informative and great video. Loved the simplicity, suggestion of products in the description. My current routine AM. There serums: Vitamin C, Lactic acid, q10 them my cream moisturiser to lock it in. Pm. I rotate prescribed tretinoin at 5%, Zo skin night repair that includes retinol at 1% and the Zo Glycolic at 10% I top it all off with matrixyl 6 serum from timeless and thick moisturiser with ceramides. Would like to learn a bit more on how to introduce the copper peptide, squalene and the led light I use from NuFace. 🙇. Thank you
Hello Penny! I just started listening to you and I just want to say wow, you are so enjoyable to watch!!! You explain with such understanding and truly know your shit! Lol You are so comfortable because you clearly know what you are talking about and have a passion to share it with the world! You are amazing real and relatable.. Just wanted to give u a shout out! Thank you from Chicago!
PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE Awh so glad it made your day! I believe women should empower/in courage other women... especially beautiful/educated women wanting to help others, like yourself! First time I’ve written a comment, new to u-tube! You deserve it! Best wishes!!!
Hi Penn, dropping by from Anne P's channel (and just became a new subbie). I had no idea about the copper peptides and will definitely be looking into that, as well as the LED. Thanks for a great, informative video!
YES!! Sagging skin, for me it's jowls and and under chin in neck, jaw line is starting to look less structured, I'm 45. I get microdermabrasion abrasion facial every 4 weeks and I wash with janMarini AHA wash and follow with vitamin C then peptides and growth factors in my moisturizer and finish with sunscreen. At night wash again, vitamin C and Retin-A and neck cream
Hey Penny! Just catching up on so many of your videos. Loving them! Thank you so much for the great information. Funny, I was just thinking the other day how it was 20 years ago when I was in school getting my Esthetician license. Boy how things have changed and improved. I haven't kept up my license in many years, so thankful for your channel! xo
thank you for your informative video! Small comment on vitamin C… 500 mg is not enough for anything… Only the liver needs 3000 mg daily to function properly… So. if anyone wants to boost collagen they have to take a minimum of 3000 to 5000 mg of vitamin C a day-The preferred form is liposomal vitamin C.
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE I must admit your videos are contagious… 💖And you have inspired me to take more serious care of my face which is showing serious need of care. I purchased almost everything you recommended for starting micro needling - but I haven’t begun yet Because I have been traveling too much. However I did start with LED and the use of green tea, as you suggested. …it is too soon - but I noticed a difference in my face only after four or 3-4 LED treatments…. I am grateful for your enthusiasm, grateful for your professionalism and grateful for your Educational videos…🙏
@@curly_blonde_unicorn7832 only when cosmetic needling NOT at anything deeper than 0.25mm. Copper peptides contain a preservative that must not get I contact with the deeper dermis.
As a menopausal woman texture/sagging are way more annoying than wrinkles. I'm ok about having a few lines - I laughed and enjoyed what led up to them (the laugh lines are deeper than any eleven lines lol). I always had a double chin no matter how skinny or overweight I was - it just was part of my round face shape. I always had a big chest so I looked after my neck/decolletage as best as I could all my adult life. Anything I put on my face went down my neck and chest always. This has helped my neck a bit as I have fewer problems there than some of my friends. I was never a sun worshipper as I'm super fair and didn't tan, plus I got headaches from very bright light. I always had dry skin so pores were never an issue till my forties, so texture for me is a biggie. I'm using tretinoin, niacinamide and lactic acid for this at the moment, but I'm still fairly early in the retin a game. I previously used retinols fyi. An issue I have is sensitive skin. I can't use a strong vit c at the same time as tretinoin (even at different times of the day) despite my other calming skincare. I decided tretinoin was more important and use a more tolerable vit c derivative instead. Budget is an issue for me so I do what I can and buy inexpensive products with really good ingredients - often K beauty tbh. I'll have a look for copper peptides though. Many thanks.
I am loving (and applying) all this information!! Thank you!! Can you sometime look into rosmarinic acid and it’s ability to repair collagen ,including the visible crosshatching , when applied topically? Can also be taken internally.
Ok Ms Penny here are my questions: 1st-Does The Miracle Age Repair Toner from Thank You Farmer take the place of the ordinary Buffet with copper peptides? I have been hearing amazing things about copper peptides for years. 2nd -Does the Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen lip treatment actual help with collagen in the lip area? Or is it a waste of money? 3rd-Do I need to add Retinaldehyde to my regimen if I’m already using rx Tretinoin cream .1% every night? 4th- if I use the Ordinary glycolic acid 7% toning solution nightly before my tretinoin cream do I need another acid in the morning? And finally, I use Cerave hydrating facial cleanser for normal to dry skin day and night... Should I add a different cleanser like the First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser at night since it has antioxidants? Or is this cleanser not recommended? Thank you so much!!!! 🤗❤️
I’m so happy to find a channel where I can actually LEARN the scientific relationship between these ingredients and our skin. Copper peptides sounded like a good one! How do we use/apply/ingest it? Thanks!
I used to take vit a for years, I dont know why I stopped. And I always use Olay. Why ? Because I was in health care and all my lovely lady's I cared for use it. And their skin is so happy and silky.
I LOVE YOU PENNY😙! You just addressed my main concern and heart throbbing. I hate to see that my face is sagging. I think of what I was like at 27 and my bowel churn to see that now my face is sagging. Is like an other person that I don t know looking at me from the mirror. May I quote that a recent study said that eating gelatine (no sugar or it defeats the purpose) and or collagen with vitamine c on an empty stomach and ideally going for a fast walk (you need to get the heart to pump faster) increases production of collagen (but it didn't t say which collagen).
Hi, I'm here from Anne's channel. Appreciate the information and will be watching the q&a video. I have sensitive and dry skin and I know my skincare can do more if I can just find the right products!
she has a pm skin care routine out where she shows how she alternates her nights with copper peptides and retin a, sorry if i knew how to do links i would share but im not that computer smart
Penny, you are SUCH a Godsend! The analogy about piano keys that are all in tune and play a beautiful song, and then with age, that song gets out of tune! I was all set to go with tretinoin, but I think I just might try one of the retinaldahydes that you recommend here. Still trying to decide which one. BOY do I wish I still lived in PDX and could come see you!
I'd like to know. The Ordinary Copper Peptide serum has that irritating preservative in it: Phenoxyethanol. I asked my chemist brother what it is and he said it is Phenol product. Not good for broken skin or skin healing.
@@echase416 I like Dr.Pickard's copper peptides. I use the 3% after microneedling and find it antinflamatory. He's a scientist and say Hyaluronic is not good because it can spread skin cancer around. I'm very fair, so I avoid that & those growth serums which can encourage cancer.
I'd like to know the order and if any of these products should be incorporated into a nano routine. Would also like to know about complimentary products or products that you should not use together. I had a previous question that has never been addressed - in addition to the core products you mentioned in this video, what are the different serums available to complement this process, is it beneficial to use the same product for days/weeks at a time or to rotate products daily.
YES MAÁm Sagging skin is my biggest concern (in the jawline) becides my undereyes.. you can clearly see in my videos (Gahhh) lol Being in my 50s.. it is so refreshing to have these videos that help with our changing skin.. SO the only think I need to add is a copper peptide .. I have been using Osmosis for over a year now.. probably 2 .. and The difference in my skin is very noticable.. (To me) I have learned so much from you Penny! I cannot thank you enough. for assisting in the fight of aging skin.. My moto is I do not mind getting older in fact I am blessed.. BUT I will fight the aging of my skin.. lol Love ya wendy
As I am turning 40 and started notice sagging skin , I was so confused what to do in this case. Thank you for this wonderful info ☺ please recommend eye cream for mature skin.
Hello Penny. I just love your videos. I am 57 yrs old and live in Toronto Canada and have dry dehydrated skin. I would like your personal thought on the ordinary Granactive retinol 5% in Squalane.
It sucks getting old doesn't it. Lol i started making my own hydrating, healing superfood face cream. I make shea butter with little coconut oil and almond oil, jojoba oil, and some essential oils. I also eat avacados olives daily. Salads and not many carbs at all. And i use glycolic toner. But i am 54 and my jaw line and neck are my areas im not happy with sagging. My skin looks healthy everyone tells me it looks good. But thr sagging ugh!! Haven't found anything for that
I loved hearing what we can do for our sagging skin. The jowl area, and the neck are the areas I like the least on my face. Looks like I need to add to my skincare routine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, Penny. Blessings, and love, beautiful..MaryEllen
I hope I’m not too late but can you please let us know what products we should never use together and which products work the best with each other. Thank you ❤️
I thought I posted this morning, but maybe I never hit comment...I've watched your channel before, but am a new subscriber from AnneP's channel. I've put an LED light in my shopping basket and then I take out for months now, lol. I keep thinking I'm trying so many other things, I won't know if the LED is working or if it's some of the other new things I'm trying.
I totally agree that sagging is worse than wrinkles - crows feet don’t bother me at all - never had Botox for that and might never do it. I have had fillers to lift the cheeks and outer frown - that makes me feel older than old. I hate it.
Well I know copper socks, copper tubing under our beds, are very helpful for the body..I think years ago I used to order copper to spray on my face...so copper is a great infusion to spray on the face., but I have to tell you LED red LIGHT causes my skin to Freckle...I put a light as a text on my arm, it did nothing but freckle my whole arm....??? Xoxo
I have been wondering about copper peptides, thank you for mentioning them. I'm here from Anne's channel. I'm headed to your video list to check out some more videos. Looks like I'll be binge watching you tonight! Already subscribed too! Thank you for collabing with one of my favorite RUclipsrs!
This is such an interesting topic!!! Great information and recommendations! It is a pleasure to listen to you; you are THE BEST at explaining this topics!
Hi. I am two months late to this video but I have a red light question. Are there any persons who shouldn’t do it? I have had blue light treatment at my dermatologist for AK. I wonder is red light treatment would bring out any sun damage issues from teenage years. Thank you for all you do on the side to help all of us!!
Hi Penny. I am currently enrolled in a medical assisting degree. I plan on getting placed in a dermatologist office for my internship.Since watching your channel you have inspired me towards advancing my education towards skin care and cosmetics. I was thinking a esthetician licensee and becoming a certified laser technician would be beneficial. I do know different states have certain requirements and was hoping to get advice on obtaining these certifications at a national level. I like to think ahead and want to satisfy certification and licensure for more then one state. And was hoping you could point me in the right direction with any other education you may find beneficial.
How would we layer the steps you spoke of.. Is it exactly the steps /layering of products you discussed... Also can you give us names of affordable products in each step? Thank you in advance for all your do! 💖
You are right on Penny...I can deal with wrinkles but the saggy skin and jowls are sooo aging.
Indeed

Thank you so much Miranda!!! Reading this just made my entire day ❤️
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE I didn't realize how long it was until I just read it. Sorry about that. 😂
Haha! Thank you!
I have used glycolic for 25 years. First for acne and now for fine lines. It really works and I definitely see the benefts.
Hi PENN, Very informative video, thanks! Now it would be wonderful if you could tell us how to use the products, if they could be combined, layered or if they should be alternated day and evening, this would be so helpful! Again thanks for the help! Love your advise!
This is the best explanation I have heard on this subject. Thank you for explaining this so well.
Thank you for those kind words! 💜
Oh by the way what about using copper peptides??
PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE what do you think about matrixyl and copper peptides?? Also the video you had about ur ice roller and jade roller that had a tip on one end.....I am having a terrible time finding that jade roller! I looked on the link you put up for that but it wasn’t there! Any suggestions where I might find one? How do we know if our copper peptides is GHK-CU or SRCP? Thanks 💜💜
How to combine Lactic Acid with tretinoin, C, Copper peptides, ferulic? Conflicts? Thank you! :)

1. Which oral supplements do you recommend that help keep a youthful appearance and also help reduce signs of aging that have already begun to aggravate us? (Aside from eating boat loads of raw Broccoli Sprouts.)
It’s ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING!

this is the first time I've heard explained that exfoliation does more than just topical skin removal. I'm more invested in peels now than I was. Thanks Penn :-)
Best tip is from the inside out anti aging. Since I went plant vegan my life has changed. My skin, hair and nails, body is amazing. Give it 6 months total to see what eating all those plants can do.
Today Training I totally agree! I ha e seen huge changes in my skin and hair since going plant based vegan 🌱
I have been using a lot of these products for a year now and seeing results.
Morning : isclinical superserum which is Vit c plus the copper growth factors. Than I use HA and osmosis hydrate and an spf
Pm routine : osmosis stem growth factor, rescue , isclinical polyvitamin serum and osmosis renew which is the retinaldehyde with no irritation from any of these products. Highly recommend purchasing from Skinbeautifulrx. Leah is so knowledgeable abt the products and very honest abt what you need !
Love your routine!!!
And I agree about SkinbeautifulRX!! Awesome site and I just love Leah!!
I don’t know how old this video is but I’m 74 and I’m going to watch this video. Yes this is my issue. I have used the ordinary, derma roll, NuFace, but I’m not constant.
Very low stress, WOW where do we find that? I’ll buy
She won't find it in Third World Portland.
Right! 🤷🏽♀️😂
I've been using the silk'n titan and have seen positive results. Thank you for sharing 🙋♀️💕skincare is so important.

It’s like you read my mind on your topics! Sagging is -by far- my number one skin concern. Jowls and neck issues 😩
I’m also SO glad you mentioned copper and even made product recommendations !!
I have most of the key ingredients that she recommended in my skincare routine now, but I want to make sure that I am layering them correctly.
Thanks
I tried HIFU. It has helped on those areas.
Omg I LOVE my CPs from Dr Pickart!! I’m so glad you do too!! That’s great to hear! 💜
I would like to know how it works too. You be your best you and that is what makes you beautiful no matter what age you are 😘❤🤗

I am glad to know the answer now :)
The reason I've been wondering about this is because I've been wondering if it is beneficial to use an AHA in addition to using retinoids for maximum collagen building ability.
I love Retinaldehyde too! Going to watch this on repeat. 🙌🏻💕 love you Penny!
What’s the best retinaldehyde product?
Sagging isn't my #1 concern right now but I can already see with my facial structure that jowling is going to be an issue. Ugh. Going to pull out my Dr. Dennis Gross LED eye mask again. It's just so difficult to keep up something when you don't see immediate results.
I just bought the Obagi serum from Skin Beautiful RX using your generous promo code! Thank you Penn!
Yay! I’m excited for you!
And thank you!
Could you touch on medical / salon skin tightening treatments such as Ultherapy, Thermage, Sculpta Mask, Full Depth Laser, etc. with respect to the benefits and limitations of each ?
barbara steffenhagen I would love to hear about these too!
Stay away from ultherapy. Look it up on real self.com, I’ve done it. Zero results, expensive, and tons of pain. Some people have had permanent damage on their face.
Eccomi at SF Thank you!
Yes please! Your opinion on Sculplla Mist and is LED better than a Clareblend Mini micro current device?
I have purchased literally almost everything you have recommended I will not miss any info that you share!!!
Awesome just what I needed! Turned 50 a week ago so I’m ready to step up my skincare regime!
Better late than never! 👏🏻
if you could plz also talk about milia. how do we get rid of milia under eyes and what eyecream or gel or skincare do y recommend for milia prone under-eye skin??
I recently started using Paulas choice exfoliant. Works really well. You can also watch Dr Dray’s video on milia.
Hi Penn! While I am dying for your next video, I have a question. What do you think about the antioxidant Troxerutin?? Is it really that good? There is a new product out with the following ingredients. Do the ingredients look good to you? Thanks as always!
STAR INGREDIENTS
Troxerutin: antioxidant that helps relieve, and prevent irritation, dryness, and inflammation.
Cica: a botanical extract that helps combat inflammation.
Aloe: contains antioxidants, enzymes, and is known to be highly anti-inflammatory.
Niacinamide: helps brightens dark spots and combat inflammation
INGREDIENTS
Centella Asiatica Extract, Glyceryl Glucoside, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Troxerutin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract, Viola Mandshurica Flower Extract, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Betaine, Panthenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil

Hi Penn, dropping by from Anne P's channel (and just became a new subbie). I had no idea about the copper peptides and will definitely be looking into that, as well as the LED. Thanks for a great, informative video!
I've been using glycolic Acid. Also at night organic Retinol.
I haven't kept up my license in many years, so thankful for your channel! xo
Agreed! That and the creepy eyelids ...my forehead is also a concern and between my eyebrows
Great video! Thanks!
thank you for your informative video!
Hey thank you!!

Ur darn straight...sagging is my #1 concern! Awesome info, Penny! Thx u SO much!
Best and precise tips for the targeted problem...very much informative video...
I am loving (and applying) all this information!! Thank you!! Can you sometime look into rosmarinic acid and it’s ability to repair collagen ,including the visible crosshatching , when applied topically? Can also be taken internally.
Anne is to you who you are to me ☺️ I could listen to you all day and your Friday Q and A videos are my favorite to listen to in the car.
Ok Ms Penny here are my questions:
1st-Does The Miracle Age Repair Toner from Thank You Farmer take the place of the ordinary Buffet with copper peptides?
Thanks!
I use my CPs at night on clean skin. I like the VIP serum from Dr. Pickart’s Skin Biology line. 😊
Sagging is also due to bone loss after menopause

Is there a home LED device which you recommend? I hear that home devices are not that strong and waste of money.

Can you recommend a copper product that can be used with microneedling that's affordable and noninflamatory? Thank you!
She has few videos about what products to use when performing microneedling. I believe that she recommends hyaluronic acid.

I've put an LED light in my shopping basket and then I take out for months now, lol. I keep thinking I'm trying so many other things, I won't know if the LED is working or if it's some of the other new things I'm trying.
LED is definitely not going to give super fast, dramatic results. I almost look at it like insurance....definitely slows down the aging process 💜
Thank you Penn...always an education from you!
I will be back with questions.....
Sagging skin... mine has hit the ground! Excellent video Penny!
😂😂😂
When should you use the products like which can u mix and times of day?
I totally agree that sagging is worse than wrinkles - crows feet don’t bother me at all - never had Botox for that and might never do it. I have had fillers to lift the cheeks and outer frown - that makes me feel older than old. I hate it.
Well I know copper socks, copper tubing under our beds, are very helpful for the body..I think years ago I used to order copper to spray on my face...so copper is a great infusion to spray on the face., but I have to tell you LED red LIGHT causes my skin to Freckle...I put a light as a text on my arm, it did nothing but freckle my whole arm....??? Xoxo
Another informative video - can’t wait to hear the Q&A‘’s on Friday!!

How would the red light function of the Time Master Pro compare to the Dr. Dennis Gross Spectralight vis-a-vis effectiveness? Thanks!

Hi. I’m from Anne’s channel. Found your video very informative! Just subscribed!
