A truly custom and Newell like 5th wheel. Im sold.
Nicely built !! Glad they have the flip down tv rather than the motorized units that rise up out of the cabinets. Those motorized units are constant warranty items in trailers, rv's, homes and yachts. Simple works!
Lippert!! AARRGGHHH! Expensive JUNK!
that,s so cool have fun and be safe
Thanks Vincent....you too!
Awesome tour of New Horizons! Great catching up with y'all the other day. Safe travels!
Thanks guys. We really appreciate you two. Hope Mollie is doing better. Hope to see you soon.
love it! This will be my next RV
I love watching you guys shop. The tips and advice are great.I can't wait to see what's next!
Thank you so much for coming along! We're really happy you're enjoying it! Make it a great weekend!
Thanks for sharing this. Coal has MUCH to be proud of in New Horizons!
Glad you enjoyed the tour.
We did Chip....thanks for coming along! Have a great weekend!
That was a really cool tour. Excited to follow and see what you guys end up deciding on.
So glad you liked it! They sure build a nice coach. Now the decision process begins 😉
I'm so glad that you all made it to New Horizons, Cole is awesome. We love New Horizons, We have our very unique original plans and can't wait for our Majestic build to start. We can't wait to see what you all decide.
Ahh thanks Tacy! Love the NH but they're a little beyond our limited budget. Would love to see your new Majestic. Hopefully we'll cross paths some day.
Hello from Okinawa, Japan! Thanks for the tour. Very interesting to see how you can customize and watch the build.
Hey guys! Thanks for coming along! Just think....you'll be able to take the tour soon 😂. Hope all is well. Have a great week.
That looks to be solid construction and quality craftsmanship.
They make a really nice coach. Thanks for coming along with us!
Very well built yes. And strikes a balance between custom and factory.
They build a really nice coach and it was fun to see how it all goes together. A person could go crazy with all the customization though....a little overwhelming! Thanks for coming along an have a great weekend!
Wow that looks impressive and seems like a really built coach. Stay safe and thanks for all the content in your search for a new RV
We really appreciate you coming along Eric. Thanks for the kind words and enjoy your weekend!
Love the video... Cole rocks. We found a slightly used 2014 majestic. Am so glad we did. I think they build a super unit. Have a few things to upgrade but I feel confident this unit will last another 20yrs no problem.
That's great Joe! Glad you like your coach....they build a really nice unit. Thanks for coming along!
Neat video well done. Great seeing you all again.
Thanks Drew! Hope to see you soon!
Awesome! Thanks 😊
Thanks for coming along with us Jim!
Thank You both so much for taking us along as we have been looking forward to this and DRV tours. Retired for six years here and still looking forward to downsizing. We plan to keep a modest place in the SW and travel 7 or so months a year. Our current set-up is a large "C" with an enclosed trailer for the Harley, or UTV. I am keeping my CDL precisely because I see a HDT and 5er TH in our future. You two and a few others are playing an instrumental role in our decision making. God willing, we will be making big changes in the next year. We also like visiting different churches while traveling and engaging in Motorcycle Ministry. Travel Blessings to you both and please know your efforts are greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement....it's comments like yours that keep us motivated to document our journey. This is what our hope was for this community...to be able to interact with others and pass along knowledge! Stay in touch and let us know how things are going. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for sharing that.
We hope you enjoyed it Tracy. Thanks for hanging out with us!
Great video guys. :) Beautiful coaches and what a great guy in Cole. See you guys soon. Safe Travels :)
I have been following you for about the last few weeks and you all are very lucky to live such a life. I subscribed and are a avid follower. Keep up the great videos and be safe! ✌️
Thank you very much Rickyb! We are very blessed to be able to live such a wonderful life and we really enjoy sharing it. We really appreciate the kind words and thanks for coming along. Have a great week!
That was a really interesting tour. Thank you for bringing us along. Between New Horizon, DRV, and Luxe I don't know how your going to decide. And then you have to wait till New Years for one to be built. My need for instant gratification wouldn't work with that. I would be destined for a dealer stock or show model. I know it's a ton of money not to get exactly what you want, but I am very adaptable and I need what's left of my sanity lol. Stay healthy and God bless
Hahaha....well, we are getting a little frustrated too! But it's a process and a LOT of money. We want the best full time floor plan we can find and hoping that while we share our search it will help others. We sure do appreciate your kind words and following along!
Great video! I have an '18 New Horizons Majestic and love it! Good luck with your research.
That's awesome Ron! Like you most folks must be happy with their New Horizons...we don't find many on the used market 😉. Thanks for coming along.
Thanks for showing...be safe...J&A
Thanks for coming along Jeanne and Alex! You be safe as well. Hope you have a great weekend!
I’m really excited about the mini split system. Good luck with your search.
We were really interested in the mini-split as well. They just started building into their coaches, so time will tell how it holds up. It does make a lot of sense though. It uses much less energy than a normal A/C does and it's so efficient. Thanks for coming along!
Suite Travels I have four in my house and they are easy to clean and do a good job. They heat well too. They heat to about 55 degrees warmer than outside temp. They struggle alittle when it’s 0 out side with a wind. But I live in a house that’s 120 yrs old and the floor isn’t well insulated.
Wow! That was interesting....umm alot for me too kellie... looks like they build a nice coach! See you both in ID.
Thanks Robin....we're so excited!
Hi Guys! THAT was a wonderful factory tour! I was impressed with Cole! When he was talking about where they mounted the generators, and, how a repair man would have to crawl underneath the coach to do the repair work, I envisioned Mike Rowe rolling out from underneath at that moment on a creeper! LOL! So, did that model have a place to haul your 4-wheel dirt toy? Great video as alway my friends! Always look forward to seeing y’all again! Have a blessed evening and stay safe!
Hahaha....that would have been priceless Jim! They didn't have any toy haulers in the shop when we were there unfortunately. Stay safe and stay positive and have a great weekend!
Kansas is beautiful
It really is nice Andrew. This is the first time we've been able to spend time there to see different things. Usually we're just passing through! Have a great weekend and thanks for coming along!
nice stuff
Thanks Rulon....appreciate you hanging out with us. Have a great weekend!
I like the RV- tour and hope that you will like it
Thanks William....glad you enjoyed it. Have a great weekend!
Cool video really like your videos
Thank you very much Thomas! We enjoy sharing them and really appreciate you coming along!
Thanks for the tour...Cole is a great guy we met him at ECR a couple of years a go. Our next coach will be a NH I think the HDT club should be getting special discounts from Cole!!! . ;^) The only group the weight of a trailer is not an issue. Sorry we are going to miss you guys at the WCR this year as the USA/Canada border remains closed. Stay safe.
You and Carey will be missed Rick....it won't be the same without you guys! We agree....we should be getting a HDT discount on the NH coaches. That would be awesome! Hope you guys enjoy your summer. We need to get together soon!
Glad you got to see New Horizons with Cole. I think my wife and I will choose New Horizons when we go full time but I’m excited to see your upcoming DRV visit to review the MX450 and what your future choice ends up being. Making your way to the Luxe factory to compare as well? I venture to guess that New Horizons will have the highest purchase price but the very best quality of all.
Hey Chris...thanks for coming along! We're excited to see the MX450 as well. We've tried to contact Deb at Luxe but she hasn't returned our emails, but we'd really like to see them as well. Stay tuned! Have a great weekend.
We r near Kansas as well
Very nice! If you get a chance to see the Presidential Library in Abeline let us know what it's like!
Hi guys! Can't wait to see what you get. Great tour. Man, those are made like a rock! Been watching your vid's. We start to travel again on June 7th. Heading to Rapid City SD, arrive June 22nd and staying there for 6 nights. Are you going to be in the area? Would love to see you again.
Oh that would be fun guys! We'll be in Boise through the 23rd and not sure what's happening after that....remember our plans are set in jello 😂. If we head that way we'll definitely have to get together.
Hello we are at Rolling Retreats RV picking up our new DRV Fullhouse jx390 moved 1/2 from the old into the new we are wiped
Hey Mike! Now the fun begins 😉. Enjoy your new coach....hope we can cross paths on the road!
Very nice. The frame is a very important feature. I do wonder why they are not using some of the new technology with the sidewalls like Azdel lamination
They build a really nice coach and are very proud of their production. They seem to be happy with the sidewall build and have the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality....and we can't blame them for that! Thanks for coming along and enjoy your weekend!
Can NH build a Toy-Hauler with an "UpStairs" bedroom ??
After-all you do have the capability to tow a heavier RV-trailer.
And NH can tailor a 5th-wheeler-chassis more than can most of the others can
(in-house fabricators are a huge advantage).

I always like air-over hydraulic braking, & 17.5" wheels as a minimum,
and independent~air~suspension is also wise if your ever go to Alaska !
I'm sure they could build anything imaginable...all it takes is money 😂. As we spoke to Cole it was obvious they were willing to try to accommodate all our wants. They are truly a custom build. Thanks for coming along and have a great weekend!
We just bought a new 2020 keystone hideout MB fifth wheel
That's awesome Jeremiah! Congratulations! Hopefully we'll cross paths one day.
First one to like. Thanks for the NH Tour guys! I was hoping you would have shown their toy hauler as I thought that is what you are looking for. Either way, the old adage of uou get what you pay for is true with NH. Looking forward to our visit in July.
One last question for those in the slightly used market, do they take anything on consignment or have used rigs?
Hi Robert! As far as the toy hauler....they didn't have one in the build process or waiting to be picked up, otherwise we would have loved to tour one. You will really enjoy the tour! They had some trade-ins on the lot but not sure if they have any on consignment or not. That's something you'd need to ask Cole.
Thank you for the NH video ! I have a somewhat unrelated question, but the photos behind you in your own coach, what do you use to secure them to the wall ? and how well does that method hold up to the bumps experienced during travel ? Thanks !
Thanks for the kind words Jeffrey! We use Command Strips to hold up everything on our RV walls. We've been using them for years and we haven't had any issues and they don't leave a mark when we remove them.
Interesting, I like the idea. I would like to see a list of their system suppliers, especially their electrical supplier, for inverter/charger.
Cheers all
Hi Carl, I think they are using Magnum or Victron these days your choice in a custom build.
We actually asked Cole what their preferred solar products were and Rick is right....Magnum and Victron. He did state that they will install whatever the customer wanted. Truly a custom build! Thanks for coming along Carl.
Does New Horizons make a toy hauler / The exterior paint look's pretty cool the red one.
They make a really nice toy hauler Jim....and the red would look amazing with our truck! Thanks for hanging out with us.
For you guys, this is what you need in my opinion.question tho, could they make a garage underneath to drive your toy in so you wouldn't have to tow it?
Thanks Connie....they make a really nice toy hauler too. We're waiting on some final prices from Cole. Appreciate you coming along!
I enjoy your videos. You are very talented, and your naturally made to interact and be on camera.one thing I'm racking my head over is that you must have been some sort of instructor in your former career beacuse you narrate well.im in law enforcement and I have a feeling you were also.
LOL....thanks! Yes, I've done some instructing over the years, but not LEO. Really appreciate the kind words and following our journey. Have a great weekend!
We've done that tour with Cole. Their coaches are impressive. I'd really love to have a New Horizon's some day. I just don't know if I can ever convince my wife to spend that much money????
They make a really nice coach...but custom comes with a price! Tell Jen she would look fabulous sipping wine on the back deck of a New Horizons 😂. Looking forward to the rally Chad....see you guys soon.
He mentioned that most of the weight is from the walls (luan). why don't they switch to a better product like azdel.
I was interested in his comments about warranty issues. As a mobile tech, most manufactures are a pia to deal with, flat rates, submitting the proper forms and on and on. Vanleigh turned out to big the biggest no go regarding
warranty altho, Tiffin has been great. Weird. I myself am looking for a hi end toy hauler and though the Vanleigh line would be good as they have one planned. But after looking at a brand new Beacon, they missed the boat. I think, unlike
New Horizon, they were concentrated on numbers and not quality. Luxe may be an option. Maybe.
That's interesting regarding the warranty. Cole seemed to give us the impression that the customer was first on their mind if/when a warranty issue came up. We weren't aware the Vanleigh brand was considering a toy hauler. That will be interesting. Thanks for coming along and enjoy your weekend!
Nice job. Did Cole give you a price range to design/build a custom rig? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Cheryl. We're still working with him, but I'm guessing it's going to be over $200k 😯
Suite Travels that’s what I thought. Not sure we want to go that high BUT if he can design / build exactly what we want then maybe. I’m emailing him this week with my wish list. Good luck. Keep us posted.
Suite Travels, How would you compare the build quality of New Horzions to DRV? I believe the advantages of a New Horzions is that they can make a truly custom rig vs. DRV which is more semi-custom.
Actually the build quality (in our opinion) is very similar between the two. The difference is New Horizons will accommodate more changes in their floor plans and custom wants - but it comes at a price. The New Horizons is much more expensive than the DRV . thanks for coming along!
@@SuiteTravels Enjoyed your video! I've been looking at NH's 5th wheels as well. There are other differences as well depending upon personal preferences in addition to customization. To name a couple, generator behind the axles opens up front compartment space and lessons the pin weight. Access to the fridge and bathroom with slides closed while on the road.
I prefer room light switches and not a computer to flip on a certain light 20 feet away. My old fashioned opinion only
We own a New Horizon and Cole was our guy. We know how you feel after the tour!!
That's awesome guys! They build a really nice unit and Cole is very knowledgeable. There is so much to see and take in while you're there....it was a long couple of days!
Again, nice to see your considering one of the very few premium (quality) brands.
There are only (IMHO) about four (4) high-end (robust)
full-time brands in the North American market, methinks.
These will hold-together for decades, unless abused.
Cole & Drew come across as knowledgable, & enthusiastic about their product,
But still honest/straight.
Yes, they are knowledgeable about their product and very proud of what they've become. They are one of just a few "high-end" manufacturers left. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!
The mask doesn’t work and less you wear it
Agree....
