    I have seen many of my customers enjoy the superb features of the New Horizons Majestic units over the past 12 years. I have spent many days at the NH factory creating my own RUclips highlight videos. The work Ben has put into this coach is outstanding.

    Certainly a lot of thought has gone into this rigs layout! The energy system is really amazing! We started our RV experience in 1986. Ended up after 6 motor homes with 45 ft Teton 5th wheel. I had that built to my specifications but not nearly as technically equipped as this 50ft monster. We had 4 massive slides which made it more like a home than an RV.
    Sadly, Teton closed a few years after ours was built but was a fantastic coach. We retired from RV's but still get the itch.

    My girls are 9 and 12 and I love this.... I'm curious how this will change for him as the boys get older. As someone who NEEDS an office, this is great. All in all, this is amazingly BAD ASS. I can't imagine the cost, but it's amazing, and all in all worth it.

      We did make sure to size the bunks so that they’d accommodate the boys as they grow up. So hopefully that’ll end up being their “retreat” as they get older. I’m sure we’ll adapt to needs as they present themselves.

      Never doubt yourself or the power of a parent. You are awesome and you can make anything work. I am sure he didn't just get this big rig the first time out. You can do it too tho. Start small with a new late model rv and a used vehicle to tow it with or hire an rv mover. And the money you would spend on rent or a mortgage spend it on an rv. They are considered legal homes and qualify for similar loans and insurance. Live your dream and let your son see the winner in you🧡

      Saw this video just today - but if I heard correctly, you're pulling this with a GM 3500???? I would seriously suggest you run that rig by an officer to see if you're legal.. My bet is - you're not; that you're over the GVWR by a bunch. You don't need a hefty fine my friend.. Make sure you're legal - it could save you a ton in liability claims if you have any incident with another vehicle... Must my .02..

      @@aliveandwell2078 that’s due the the wider front axle. A medium duty truck would also have a wider front axle. The commercial/fleet grade F450 is also different from the consumer grade F450 in a few ways. If this were my rig Id probably pull this with a single axle highway tractor.

If I went full time I’d want as big of a rig I could get. Yes, you might be limited to where you can stay, and it would be more difficult to pull this thing, but well worth it for the space. I had a 43 ft and was no fun trying to fit in most spots that weren't pull thrus. Most old parks just weren't designed to back a trailer this long into. If you're not good at jacknifing a trailer forget something like this. You tell whoever takes reservations how long your rig is and they have no idea what it takes to back something this long even though it fits.

    Beautiful rig. A couple of questions. 1. Did you ever consider Spacecraft and what made you go with NH? 2. How have you found driving maneuverability and getting into parks/campgrounds? Thanks for tour.

      We looked at Spacecraft for a bit, but didn’t like the way they generally looked from what we could see. New Horizons just felt like a better fit for us. Sorry, it wasn’t terribly scientific. 😕

      Driving maneuverability hasn’t been bad at all. It does have quite the tail swing (about 18 feet), so I’m definitely cognizant of that when driving and my wife is always acting as a spotter from her follow vehicle.

    Amazing. Given that it's 3' shorter than a standard semi trailer, I'm seriously curious here: 1-What does it weight unloaded? 2-What is the GVWR?
    I saw comments about it being towed with a 1 ton dually--no judgements here. The new 1 tons are equivalent to the MDTs from a decade ago...

    • @triphius
      @triphius 2 года назад

      Thanks Rob! The GVWR is 32,000 lbs. Unloaded… 26,550 lbs.

      I think the whole rig (truck and trailer) is 31k lbs. My guess from looking at the 3 axles they are each 7k. Even if they were 10k each he would still be over weight.
