That 40 footer majestic is the perfect floorplan to me not to big or small it's just the right size.
I have never seen Sheila smile so much.
New Horizons are hands down the best custom made 5th Wheel. I met the guys a couple of year's ago at a meet up and they are just some good old boys. I too have build a home or two and you can really appreciate the build quality and the insulation in a New Horizon...no one else puts rigid foam in the floors, walls, end caps and ceiling! I'm also ordering 16 of those battery cells to built the equivalent of 11 Battleborns and will have all Victron equipment too! Just try and wipe that smile off of Sheila's face...she already has the floor plan 3/4's done! Oh and when you put a Washer/Dryer in your rig...go with standard home units with a 240v dryer...those RV units are junk and if boondocking you won't be doing laundry anyways.
If you think New Horizons is awesome you should look up Luxe and Space Craft
@@livingourjourney365 Luxe is nice too but they do very little to no customization of floor plans...they also buy their frames from Lippert. Spacecraft is in a league of their own as their unit are even more dollars than NH and their bigger units must be hooked up to a Class 8.

Crazy, I too didn't know about New Horizon until last week. Our family has been full time since May of 2021. We have stalled traveling due to my mothers death February 1st and the incredible rise in diesel fuel prices this last month. Currently over $5 per gallon. I found out about New Horizon RV while researching work camping. My wife and I decided to hunker down for a while to see what will happen with fuel prices this spring and summer. Shame as we were already booked and had reservations all over the west coast well into summer. But, God had a different plan. I called New Horizon and will be starting work at the factory very soon. I look forward to honing my skills as a craftsman and learning even more about how to properly maintain and upgrade my rig by learning and working building other folk's very high end custom rigs. New Horizon, from where I sit, are the absolute top of the line as far as towable rigs go. They are comparable to Newell in quality, customization and customer service. Very exciting times.

Definitely an awesome RV. Another custom manufacturer to look at is "Spacecraft". Diesel pusher type Fifth wheel quality. Even the wheels and tires are Semi truck size.
At first i wanted a newell. But I have moved into a 5th wheel and can't see myself going back to a driveable. Well now I have found it.. have some wild ideas.

We went to the Tampa RV show and went thru what seemed like hundreds of RVs to the point where they all looked alike until we walked thru one of the New Horizon models they brought to the show. Other then the class As in the building this was by far the best RV and definitely the best 5th wheel there. You know what could had gotten you/us a look on top of Tis is destiny’s Rig to see his solar panels? A drone!

I have an old 2000 Monaco dynasty on a roadmaster chassis. And back then all the chassis were made for the individual coach depending on the equipment it was going to have. Basically what you were talking about here. I full-time in this coach and still love it. Thank you for the video. These are the first fifth wheels That I have seen that are built like a quality motorhome.

That’s fun to dream about! Do they do a toy hauler design? You Can’t give up the motorcycle ... we go south in a 37’ toy hauler (nothing fancy, but enjoy the heck out of it. I spend 3 wks in a 14x16 wall tent w/ wood stove during October; you probably wouldn’t be interested in that!, watched you from the very 1st vid you guys are great. May God continue to bless you

Great video! You made my inner geek scream like a little girl. We won't ever spend that kind of money on an rv but what a thing to dream about. Our own specifications! Lol. If we won the lottery, we would probably buy this before, (or rather than,) buying a house.
We started down the full time journey pre COVID. We fell in love with the Majestic rear kitchen at the 2020 Tampa RV show, then COVID hit. I delayed my retirement and our RV shopping has stopped. We recently started taking about putting our house on the market and start looking again. Great video!

Thanks for sharing this company. Their products are definitely for someone who knows what they want based on RV experience. In the Airstream world, they say "Buy your last one first" which is impossible for many due to the cost of RV'ing when you are just starting out and the fact that you have to try out different models to see what features suit you best. We are on our 3rd Airstream and I dare say this is our last one since it is pretty perfect for us.

Like you, I've never heard of New Horizons Custom RVs. I loved the tour video and the indepth information you provided on their custom RVs. But I have to say, your meeting Ben and seeing that battery set up he designed and built just BLOWS me away. I'm also impressed with that 5th wheel hitch he has on the RV. It appears similar to yours Todd, but still somewhat different. Man RVing sure has changed since the early 90s. I can't wait to see what comes next.

You need a toy hauler, LUX is custom RV’s also but in toy hauler version. Look a lot like New Horizon but they build toy haulers. Still like the 395MS, ours hopefully will be in first week of may.
We looked at Luxe as well before we bought out GD. New Horizon has a toy hauler - enjoy your 395 it’s a great rig!

I've been looking into 5th wheels for a few months. Found out that since covid they can't keep up with demand, they just throw em together. Finding all these problems later. I'm still undecided on a Class A bus or the 5th wheel. Either way, I know it will be custom made. I'm looking into being a boondocker myself and need the power. Nearing the end I hear him say he was charging a Tesla car lol. Now another reason to maybe chose the bus and tow a Tesla.
