I love these tech tours! I learn so much!
Glad to hear! I enjoy doing them.
Wow very impressed. Amazing work.
Not sure why, but I found the casual, fading out of “link is in the description” about the clock hilarious. Always throw a link to a product in the description is great, but just the way you said it and then cut away from it I found funny. 😂
Great tour man! Together, we can give a look into all the awesome churches in Tulsa! haha
This is great! Thanks. How are you shading with RCPs and the Varicams? Do RCPs work with the Varicam line?
thanks for all information
Awesome tour. Do you know where they lease there lights from?
Am amazed
I like the 'The most important part' part. Sometimes it feels like this gets lost in all the producing.
All the tech looks really good! Would you do a tech tour at McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers Fl.
That’d be fun if I’m ever in the area 👍🏻
Woww 😯
What tripod and heads are they using for there camera on sticks? Is there any specific heads you would recommend for larger cinema cameras for a really smooth follow? Just go with the appropriate Manfrotto line...
Miller heads. Cheapest manfrotto I’ve heard recommended is manfrotto nitrotech
@@RylandRussell Thank you
D-Live yey. Finally. Same here.
Any way to get any more information on how the soft keys were set up with waves tune for key changes. I’m looking to do the same thing
I can ask. I’m pretty sure it was sending a midi note to the waves plug-in to tell it to change? 🤷🏼♂️
@@RylandRussell it more about how to set it up together I have the same setup and have been looking through all the manufacture documents.
Do you know what hazer they use? I'm trying to find a new hazer for our church
Mdg atmosphere.
@@RylandRussell thank you! We've been using the antari z350 for the past 5 years but it does not hang in the air like we want it to do
@@RylandRussell is this a CO2 based one? great video BTW
@@maizesoft yep, co2. Thanks!
great BRHO
where do you get your TV privacy screens?
Link in the description of this video I did ruclips.net/video/aDyTf-S6Jds/видео.html
@@RylandRussell thank you!
I will like to work as a video director for you guys, am from Nigeria
Every example he gave as an advantage of the mixer not only comes standard on other consoles in this class, but it's actually cheaper with other brands. Yes the channel count is higher but no church out there needs more than what is currently commercially available, so I completely disagree with these points.
Multiband compressors and dynamic eq come free with Digico but cost roughly £2k more to get with A&H.
Be careful to take the advice given here, he's not wrong about the console being great, he just hasn't checked the industry. You will get more function for your money with other brands in the same category.
Seems like a lot of tech for a few mics and some playback. Donations well spent I see.
What's with these pastors reading their sermons? After those guys, recently, got caught reading someone else's sermon, I would think that they would know better.
Just about every televised speech, news program and late night show you’ve seen; they’re using a teleprompter. Our pastor spends a ton of time and energy preparing for his sermons each week, with a chunk of that being refining his teleprompter file. It has nothing to do with the message not being memorized, our pastor is the most prepared speaker I’ve ever worked with. It way more involves his method for making sure he consistently delivers the message that he prepares in the weeks and months leading up to Sunday.
@@cfcpraiseband, I'm aware of that. My nephew has a job writing the stories that the on-air talent reads for a couple of news stations. But here's the thing, a speech that is read comes across like a speech that is being read. And a memorized speech isn't any better. A person who is reading everything isn't paying attention to the people in the room. If people aren't getting it, he doesn't know it and if he did, he can't doing anything, because he has to follow the script. If something unusual happens, he can't work that into the sermon, because it will throw off the script. And that's true, even if they aren't reading someone else's script.
That is just ... ignorant. Sure I takes some skill to sound natural while reading off a script, but to say that you can't write your sermon down, not to risk getting accused of stealing, is just backwards. So if you can't read a script nor memorize your sermon, should you just make it up on the fly?
@@NoiseMakerX, you're missing the point. Stealing is just one of the reasons why a preacher might write down their sermon. The bigger issue is that reading a sermon is a less effective form of communication. In the case of some of these preachers, the reason they are reading sermons is because they are paying someone else to do their sermon prep for them. One thing is certain, a preacher who isn't reading his sermon is doing his own sermon prep. He has to be so familiar with the passage and with his notes that he can make eye contact with the congregation. But the guy who is reading his sermon (whether he did his own prep or not) isn't making eye contact. He can't, because doing so would make him lose his place.
I'd encourage you to actually watch one of their sermons. Using the teleprompter allows the pastor to actually interact MORE with the audience. It gets him out from behind a pulpit. This level takes skill though and is not for every pastor IMO ruclips.net/video/wEjWnyZAk0k/видео.html
Are they dating?
