I focused on a lot of hardware and synths and I’m now trying to get the recording and computer daw working with it. I’m definitely going to use templates how you have it set up but for my own needs. These were great ideas.
I wanted to get the Tascam Model 12 because it’s a multitrack recorder and audio interface which handles many connections but I have a mixer and maybe I need to look at some rack mounted interface too. I’ll keep looking. I know a lot of people say good things about the model 12 but I’m going to do more research.
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I just started my home studio in Jan 2024 (after a 10 year hiatus of playing music). This is super helpful. And I’ve focused on maximizing the flow of recording to track ideas right away. Thank you! Curious on how you like your MPC?
Hey Felipe - Glad to hear you're back to making music and getting your home studio set up! Appreciate the comment and kind words on this video! The MPC is cool! IMO, it works best as the centerpiece of a workflow, working on the MPC itself. I was using it with a DAW and it just didn't end up being the right piece of gear for me. Analog drum machines and samples work better with my workflow. I think if you're interested in the MPC style of beat making, it's absolutely worth checking out!
Gear can be very helpful for example.. I bought a behringer umc 404 hated it its drivers sucked.. Then Got the Focusrite 18i8 3rd Gen. The Drivers on that enable me to drop my pc buffer size down to 64 now playing stuff on tracks feels amazing
It's funny you ask... I've had that video planned all year. I didn't know if people would be interested! I'll definitely make the video though, stay tuned!
I did have all My stuff out however it quickly became a problem because of dust, so time consuming to clean so most of My stuff stays in clear platic bags even the stuff on the desk.
@@spikerzombie I just keep the synths and gear covered in plastic when not in use. I don't have the space to have everything set up all the time as cool as that would be.

You lost me at hi! You do understand that a lot of people don't have the money to invest in good quality instruments or gear, some of us just want to be able to transmit our ideas, I'm so fed up with these stupid videos about getting expensive gear, you are not helping people starting out, it's delusional
Every good home studio should have a copy of Rick Rubin’s book. It can just give you a little inspirational nudge if you need it.
Rick Rubin :b
I use Eno's Oblique Strategies.
Soon as I saw the Roland JC amp at the beginning, I knew I could trust this man.
real ones know 🤝
Loved mine
Your setup and workflow looks near frictionless in regard to the creative process. Thanks for sharing your insights and dope space. Very inspiring!
Appreciate the comment, my friend!
I'm a beginner in building my own home recording studio. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks for putting this up.
Beautiful studio 👏🏼
THANK YOU!!

You can just get a mixing board and connect it to the two-input interface. Swap out instruments using the inputs on the mixer

MPCs are fun as hell 😂
I have all my guitars in cases dust doesnt do them a lot of good the same as temperature/ humidity changes. You might want to see how that works.🙂

Great anecdote! Couldn’t agree more with that.
I also have a UMC404HD. I actually love it. I have a few different interfaces, but the Behringer holds up good for me. I don’t use for guitar tho.
It’s hard out here for a pimp! Great content! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Problem (about plan and buy something like many channel interface since the start) is start budget
Which monitor is good for MacBook for music production? Around 300$
1st thing to know is that you don't need monitors or acoustic treatment - just get slate vsx instead
Great vid bro!
Thanks so much Jordan 🙌
Arturia plugins are great
Thank you sir great video
Appreciate that! Thank YOU for the comment!
The creating your own templates in you r DAW was a biggie in my experience.
Do you have a video on how you setup your premade templates? I’m going to search your channel real quick. I’d love to see how you do it.

But bro, Shouldn't your monitors be on stands behind the desk?
Ok let's go
+1 sub, very well spoken and good energy
Glad to have you :)
So cool ahh
How does the 610MKII sound ?!😊
I love it. Use it on vocals, bass, DI guitar, etc.

Or you could just clean more often as you listen to new music for inspiration

I've found that spending more on gear helps me spend less in the long run.
Agreed!
Captain Rex!
You definitely a real one 🙌
"MK" is pronounced "Mark". As in version. Now you know.

Also soooooo much product placement
Just stay within your budget. There are plenty of cheap or used equipment out there that will get your ideas down and still sound good.
Dude. That's not a hand held microphone.
