The scientific name for those red mushrooms is Amanita. That sounds like a great name for the sculpture, because it sounds like a girl's name. You did a great job with that sculpture.
As a Spanish speaker, I have to give my input on this name (this has nothing to do with the actual mushroom, just me interpreting it as a name): "Aman" means "love" or "to love" and is plural -ita is a diminutive suffix (in case someone forgot what that is, it means that whatever's before it is tiny or small) So "Amanita" would mean "little love"

I've worked with plaster a lot!! Especially for ceramics. When plaster is curing, it actually has a chemical reaction to the water and gets hot because it's getting rid of the water. The best thing to so it to put it by a heater or, because you're in in a hotter state, on a windowsill just outside of the sun. Itll help draw the water out faster. It's better to not touch the plaster after it's out of the mold for about a day so that you know its completely dry. All in all it came out so nice amd I'm so glad you made such a cute character!!!
I think most of us would be okay with longer videos! This was great to see you all excited about it. I enjoy watching this videos at the end of my day to kind of get into a relaxed mindset! Make them however long you want and I'll watch you fumble around with the paintbrush 💙

I've seen other creators review this kit. It looks like an amazing well thought out and put together kit. The $150 price tag is high but you seem to get just about every thing you need plus things you can reuse. It is one of the only kits i would consider buying

I have an idea: Since you plan out your secret soap series with a theme every year, you can also make a character that's the amalgamation of each soap in the series/ the theme itself. And then every time we see a soap in the series you also add a little some thing to the character. Just like a base paint, or an accessory that may or may not be painted or a close up of something so we have to guess what it is and where it goes on the character. That way as the series goes on we see the character take shape and we all get to imagine what the end result will be! (I personally think that would be fun!) Then when you reveal what the theme is you can reveal the fully finished character as well! You can write the year on the bottom of it's foot, that way if you do more than one year you can keep them in order. Hope you like the idea! :)

I have a potentially cool idea for a series! You could go through a list of endangered animals and do soap designs based on their looks! Maybe even give some facts and stuff about each creature during the episodes to bring awareness to them!

What you did with your character was very ingenious of you! Turning a soap into a character that could represent it so well? Awesome!
I really, really wanted to see 15 minutes of you fumbling around with a paint brush, hemming and hawing about which color to lay down first, where to put the imbeds on the character, how to anchor them with clay, all that! I would have sat at home and watched it all, because I enjoy the creative process so much, it's fun to watch others think while they work. Like you did with the mold, where you put it together and processed how stuff was gonna happen, that's exactly the stuff I enjoy watching the most when others sit down and start creating. 😎
It's my hope that you will do a character for every majorly requested/hyped bar, that would be amazing to see. 😍
The little staff you made looks so cute and detailed and the tiny basket with two apples, a mushroom and a cupcake? Katie seems to be the exact type of person I'd love to be best friends with IRL. We have so much in common and she just has this energy that omg I need her in my life. Too bad I live many countries away (and she probably wouldn't hang out with me anyway 😂)

You could go through a list of endangered animals and do soap designs based on their looks! Maybe even give some facts and stuff about each creature during the episodes to bring awareness to them!
