We all knew the Porsche was going to win, however we were all surprised that the BMW did so well. No hate here just pure joy to see the great time of automobiles.
First, they brought the most powerful M car of all time and put a pro driver in it. Then removed 70 HP from the TurboS, and then took it's LC out of the equation. As if any of it was going to make any difference. And that m5cs is bonkers fast, but I think they just needed to be reminded who the opponent was
I absolutely love the m5 but, if they had a 911turbo S, it just wouldn't be a contest. 911 turbo S is literally just insane. One of the greatest cars ever built.
I love the 911 for how solid and consistent it is every single race, but if I still had the option to choose, the BMW would be my choice. 4 doors, easy to modify comparing to the 911, better sitting position for driving, and it's just a phenomenal daily drive.
Seating position in the 911 is better in my opinion. It sits lower and is a sportscar based car. But thats just my opinion. I can tell though that the M5 is NOT easy to tune. The 911 is probably better. The engine and enginebay of the M5 is complicated and packed. Hard to take apart and build again.

I showed so many people that who weren't car people at all and it killed every time, genuinely one of the funniest things I have ever seen, brilliant concept with absolutely flawless execution.

The 911 turbo weighs 3,635 lbs while the M5 CS weighs 4,096 lbs. I think the BMW would have won if it wasn’t for this weight difference. Plus, the CS exhaust sounds a lot better!
@@latinace1981 when have you ever known a BMW M5 to outrun a Porsche Turbo of similar year? And this is probably the best performing stock m5 of all time. It's more than 300 lbs. Porsche turbos are around 3600 and the m5 cs is over 4100. The weight is worse than the hp is an advantage.
If I had couple of other cars (considering the price of these toys) I'd def go for Porch any day of the week... Just wow... The bodywork, performance - I like even the sound of it, better reliability, you can have some fun on the race track also (even drive home from there too!). Porch it is..

The CS is known to have between 650-660 HP WITHOUT Tuing. BMW is known to lie about HP numbers in there top models. still a standard 911 Turbo absolutely DESTROYS it hahahaha. Unreal. The Turbo S will make this M5 CS look like a slow dinkytoy.

As a Porsche fan I have to say considering the weight difference and being a four door sedan the M5 CS did fairley good against the 911 I enjoyed the race
Porsche's launch control is skillfully done by engineers and if the weight of these cars were the same idc which one would win. there is 300kg comparison between these masterprices.
@@james8zaq my money is on CT5-V Blackwing (not the CT4-V BW of course) against both of these German cars, it will beat the M5 CS for sure, and be very close with the 911 Turbo (huge weight advantage for the 911 T here..) we shall see soon here I'm sure..! :-)
@@james8zaq yeah, the hellcat would have no chance against the CT5-V BW, the hellcat is almost 500 lb heavier, and is much less aerodynamic too here, plus this Cadillac has a much better launch control system (same system that the C8 uses), so even with 129hp more power for the hellcat, I still believe it has no chance here..! :-)

@@james8zaq my money is on CT5-V Blackwing (not the CT4-V BW of course) against both of these German cars, it will beat the M5 CS for sure, and be very close with the 911 Turbo (huge weight advantage for the 911 T here..) we shall see soon here I'm sure..! :-)

@@james8zaq yeah, the hellcat would have no chance against the CT5-V BW, the hellcat is almost 500 lb heavier, and is much less aerodynamic too here, plus this Cadillac has a much better launch control system (same system that the C8 uses), so even with 129hp more power for the hellcat, I still believe it has no chance here..! :-)
@@james8zaq I dont care about drag races. More driving impressions, and maybe your road course time. I know they are not AWD, but the manual option and being on the Alpha chassis sounds like a tasty combo

The Porsche is a monster. But the BMW has more daily usability with more seats and a real trunk. The Porsche is "only" a sports car, the BMW is a family sports car.

That Porsche is fast but the car looks so boring and is a 2 seater and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. The m5 was way aggressiv looks well is a 4 seater with more place in the car.
