Nissan sports cars are like those Chrysler cars that were originally Mercedes that they have been selling for almost 20 years. The Challenger, Charger, and 300. Building a new car can cost billions so I get why they don’t do a new one but they have to at some point…
It wont. That GTR is completely outdated nowadays. It was ahead of its time 10 years ago maybe. A car that can barely sustain its max output shouldnt even be sold. This car and all its mechanical parts were probably never designed for the amount of heat and forces it generates right now. Anyone can put big tires and ramp up the power to go faster. Hell, thats basically what Corvettes always do. But they all know their limits. Nissan seems to not. They should have never released the NISMO. Should have kept the standard GTR, improve the reliability and costs, and take on the sporty coupes of its class. The M4, the muscle races,... It does not belong in the super cars category. @@josebrown5961 Well at some point they'll discontinue it so no point in trying to update or completely redesign now. Why does no one appreciate the NSX? It gets overlooked by the GTR everyday even though the NSX is by far the better car. I'd take one over the severely outdated GTR any day
Story by owners is the steering feel. Take it for what it’s worth.
Which one has a targa roof that comes off out of these super cars?
Stop being salty, the NSX got destroyed by the GT-R as as always.
NSX 2nd gen is one of the biggest failures
@@SSJ4Absolute the nsx interior is better than the gtr, but the gtr exterior and performance is better
Do I really need to watch this video? Turbo S smokes all of them easy. lol
good race....always want to see these 3 race
This is the drag race that we are waiting for yes finally
For the extra 2.5% spend you'd have to be insane to not get a Turbo S over a GTR
Wow I did not realize the prices were so similar. 100% agree.
Turbo S is slightly cheaper in USD. And I double checked to make sure it wasn't missing anything important on the standard configuration.
If all you care about is straighline speed yeah, but if you're gonna track the car there is still a very strong argument for the gtr
@@Pk1998AMG yeah, I know the GTR does all the driving for you, but I think any skilled driver will get better lap times out of the 911. Plus the GTR weighs about 100 kilos more... It's just... For me personally it's an order of magnitude less desirable than the Porsche.
@@Pk1998AMG lol, you have no idea what are you talking about
Why no c8 zo6? Or c8 e-ray? Similar power and would give a better comparison
The GTR has had it's share of updates but overall its still largely unchanged and it still kicks a$$.. good job to the C8 though for hanging in there (kinda)
3:03
It does have less horse power and it is almost heavier then the other cars, due to the fact it has all the options so that includes the ride height which adds a lot of weight
Let's admit, we didn't watch this video to find out which car won. We watched to find out how much the Turbo S won by
of course. They didn't use the 670 hp Corvette.
@@TheBandit7613 even if they used the Z06, it wouldn't even see which way the Turbo S went
@@c9lion207 Could be. But when doing a comparison, I would NEVER run a base model unless the rest were all base models.
Completely useless comparison.
@@TheBandit7613 fair enough
Even the previous gen 911 turbo beats the ZR1. 580hp 911 beats a lighter 720hp ZR1. GM is pathetic and will always be propped up by GM fanboys.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S will always be the sleeper supercar. If it were a 4 car drag race, the 911 Turbo S would thrashed all of them.
What’s sleeper about it? Everyone expects it to win on sight.
765LT joined the chat :)
@@S8ER "Sleeper" (IMO) in that it looks like a melted VW Beetle and has been that way since it was created. It's not a sleek wedge like the C8/NSX(/Aventador/R8/etc) so it doesn't "look" as fast. It nearly blends in at a supermarket parking lot. (and it's still the one I want the most out of all of these, though my Honda fanboyism would jump at owning an NSX)
U guys are all saying the same thing if uk cars everyone knows about the 911 😂😂
@@LJ-wo1wf I think the Turbo S stands out easily even in the Harris Teeter parking lot full of other Porsches. 🤷 no chance I would ever try one thinking it’s a run of the mill Porsche.
"C8, camera 8" 🤣
Any advices por the Acura Type S? I got the Gotham Edition, 49/350.

Lmao these bots
@Franca Christina Wow I'm just shocked you mentioned and recommended Mr Arjun B Jagat ,his services are awesome
I would still want the NSX I just like the look and interior the most, In real life drag racing other supercars doesn't really come up during your daily driving!!
You can daily drive a Turbo so 🙇🏾♂️
There's plenty of potential with the TTV6 too.
American made nsx
@@dino2120dino2120 @@dino2120dino2120 That's the problem. I want it to be my first choice out of this group, but only would if it was still made in Japan. I'm from Ohio where it's was developed and assembled, and I dont have faith that is made to nearly the same level of rigorous quality control and craftsmanship as it would in Japan.
@@bhyphen8234 💯 percent!
5:05 is just the quintessential TH interaction, James opens with ello mate and Thomas with the Ohhhh yeahh lmao
The Turbo S won, wow, shocked! 😂😲But the GTR is still a problem for it's age, the new one is going to be a serious problem.
Gt-R got discontinued… don’t worry 😉
@@DiaperSNiFFER hol up, you telling me there won't be an R-36?
The sad truth is, if we ever see another GTR, I'm betting it might be an electric crossover
@@dannythedominican6998 not for a while. The next GTR will be a hybrid for sure.
What are you babbling on about? "for it's age" This model of the GTR was released mid 2021...
These races have nothing to do with age. It's literally just the fastest current spec of these cars. GTR came out end of 2007 and the NISMO end of 2015. None of that has anything to do with this race we saw today....
911 range has been going longer, so do we get to say "ooHhhoHHh, thAt PorSCHe dID wELl foR it'S aGe!!"
Muppet
Still proud of nsx type s such a great fast car 💕
Got my allocation and just ordered my turbo s lightweight package can’t wait to get it.
The GT-R is a masterpiece of engineering even all these years later………hopefully Nissan comes out with a new one soon after the 400z launch🙏🏻
Typical Nissan Jock sniffer, They, like every other manufacturer have been playing catch up to 911's since 63'
As far as i know the GT-R has been announced as discontinued due to the new regulations on emissions, there won't be any GT-R
@@silversurfer3636 Yeah but basically Porsche was chasing the gtr for 15 years and it only took three generations of 911s to beat it, and well Nissan dominated the 911 since the gtr r32 existed
Goes to show just how far ahead the GTR really was.
I really hope the new one comes back to reclaim the title.
@@AnitaHanjaaab If they even make it. Sales on this one are extremely poor. Not selling at all.
@@ryanb8736 it’s because they’ve been selling the same car for about 10 years now. It’s an old base. If they do a complete remodel with more power and features it will sell. Nobody wants to buy a 10 year old car for 100,000.
The best car channel for comparison.
The 911 is just in a class of its own. But sheesh, I wasn’t expecting the GTR to get smoked that bad 😭
That frog (911) got outta there
Bruh it was like 2 car lengths at best???
I'd still take the gtr over that porsche
Having a ton of experience in all of them, except NSX, I would take Turbo S. It’s engineering is beyond spectacular. It’s build quality is best in car industry. It’s performance is mind blowing. It’s also a sleeper out of the bunch.
GTR’s are cool when they were 100k, but at 200k, it’s a huge hard pass now. I’d rather an R8 and out twin turbos on it. Super easy and it will run 7’s street driven.
Turbo s will run 7’s with bigger turbos. Even pull wheelies.
GTR’s are very heavy and very expensive to modify. They also tend to break. Ask any owner. This is why buying a used one is almost impossible to find one that is flawless.
Take that GTR over the 911 anyday
The GTR offers solid performance in a straight-line for its age still, though I also agree it's a bit overpriced all things considered.
Congrats on almost 2 million subscribers btw!
If you consider price, nothing beats a Porsche.. best bang for buck hands down
7:40🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Shifting up looks early..
In the end, we all won. 🔥 the 911 had my adrenaline pumping and I'm just sitting in a recliner 🤣
2 million!!!!!! Well done!
That Turbo S sound on Fly-By is amazing! Easily best sounding car there, as someone who drove one also, I will say sounds alot better in person!
The Turbo S sounds great while driving, but is put to shame by the GT3 at 9000rpm.
@@jayr2537 it used to be bad compared to GT3 but 992 Turbo S or 991.2 GT2RS are underrated in sound, infact in case of GT2RS I prefer it's sound to GT3.....
The reason they sound bad in videos cause their sound have very low frequency that recorders can't pick it up like normal phones..... You get heavy bass sound in idle, you get turbo whistles at low speeds, and you get Flat 6 sound at high revs.... They have lots of character that videos don't do them justice...
GT2RS had one of loudest sounds at idle tbh, If I was outside I prefer to lsn to GT3, if I was driver I prefer GT2RS... Now one car I'm confident will be top of my best sounding cars list from inside is GT4RS, I can't wait to drive it
@@TRX25EX Porsche held the Cayman back for years! It's always been the better platform, especially in handling.
I honestly couldn’t be more happier with the results. the GTR did amazing😍.. and pulling away from the heavily engineered NSX really just shows that NISSAN is the superior. (in terms of performance😚) and i love that for all of us. course the 911 is the ultimate winner. That car could probably run for President.
