I remember when the R35 GT-R came out in 2009 that I was underwhelmed by it pictures. Then I saw a GT-R out on the road and was like "Whoa". It has a presence that can only be appreciated in person. It looks INTIMIDATING. It's much larger and wider than it first appears in pictures.
Yep. It's insane how NOT photogenic this car is. It's like that 7 you reluctantly meet up with from a dating app and she shows up as a 9.3 and you are blown away. The exhaust pipes are huge on the GTR, you can fit your fist
I'll never forget my first experience driving a GTR. I sold cars at a Nissan store, and our dealer group happened to sponsor our local cars and coffee on Saturday mornings. I was a tenured guy (still at same place btw) and when we got our first, unsold, GTR allocation I was invited to drive it to CnC one Saturday morning. I got to bring the keys home with me Friday night, and slept with them by my bed. We met at our Ford store Saturday morning at 6 am, we had a Cobra replica with a 5.0, a 911 Turbo S, a Mercedes SL63 and a Roush Mustang ready to go. The drive to the event is about 20 minutes and is mostly back roads. I was expecting a nice drive back there, I never had been included with these guys before who were all managers so I was not sure what to expect. Once we hit the first of the twisties they all took off 😂. I remember vividly taking one turn I was very familiar with, which I've taken in my STi many many times, at approximately double the speed I was usually comfortable with. The car truly makes you feel like you are an F1 driver which is slightly concerning when you realize what is going on. The way it sucks to the tarmac and pushes and pulls you through corners is truly unlike anything else. When we got there and parked, I got out and realized how special this car truly is.
A lot of the price increase has been inflation and economies of scale. I'm just happy they are still making them, so many folks complain when a company stops making cars because "it's not economical". The fact they are still taking orders is awesome, I wish they did a few updates to the interior electronics though, nothing huge just better and snappier graphics on the same size screen. I also wish they would release R32-34 GT-R "kits", where you buy a new chassis and RB setup of choice separately and register it as a kit car.
Inflation doesn't add up to this kind of increase... think of the money they save on changing nothing lol the parts they add don't add up to what they are asking. Not to mention the cars they compare to in price. They are just sucking the name dry and you know what? It's working lmao
@@anydaynow01Nissan doesn't even care about older S, Z and GT platforms to the point where OEM PARTS are either ALL discontinued or extremely overpriced... let alone making "kit cars".. Today Nissan=Renault They dont even care about their customers.. They are among the most unreliable vehicles listed on every site.
Great video! I bought a used 2010 GTR Premium back in 2018 for $36,000. Had to be the cheapest, clean title GTR in the country (USA). After some simple DIY upgrades and tuning it's a reliable daily driver with 710 crank horsepower. This is my second GTR. I had a 2009 which I built for road course duty and was still a daily driver. About 3 weeks after I sold the 2009 (to help buy a nicer house) I was sorry I did and immediately started looking for another GTR. Found the 2010 and have been a happy owner ever since. Best bang for the buck on the planet.
It’s a shame the GT-R is not really considered in europe as a “cheap” reliable platform. It’s so expensive here it’s crazy. The GTR will run you anywhere between €70k and €150k, yes, thats for a used one, ofcourse depending on model year and the range is 100k all the way to 250k+ for exclusive package. Not to speak about more recent years, it just goes up to crazy numbers. It would be more logical here to get a 991.2 carrera s and just tune it, you get newer and better car in a lot of metrics, for cheaper. it would be an emotional decision to get a Gt-R, rather than a bang for buck one, which i think kind of defeats the purpose of what the GT-R was supposed to be. I still think about that time when this thing came out and shitted on everything 3 times its price, i fell in love with it’s purpose, capabilities and its timeless design. They are very rare here, compared to an 911 for example.
That's too bad, I always thought prices were about the same in Europe. They are increasing in price in the US also. Glad I bought mine when I did.@@Silviodante1960
Good for you man, how do you know if the gtr wasn't beatvto shiet at that price tag? There are lots of people doing stupid shits on social media now for clicks.
@@Silviodante1960 I have had MANY 911 (from 1964 to 991) and being not a "super" pilot on track I am way way faster with my GTR now ... just try it ... I'll never go back
Now is definitely NOT the time to be buying a car. Average car cost $47K?! That's insane! Check your ego at the door - you need a vehicle to get back and forth to work, not to impress anyone. An auto finance rate of 7%+ is an insult to anyone with excellent credit. No thanks. Those new cars can sit on the lot and rot away for all I care.
The best course of action is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance on purchasing a car. Speaking with a consultant helped me acquire my car effortlessly using the best plan available without affecting my portfolio.

Throttle House videos are the closest content to Top Gear in the past 8 years. The way it's shot, the perfect humor, the UNMATCHED review of each car and the emotion of driving not just fast cars, but fun cars. 200k R8s, Trucks, Track Days, Grand Nationals... @@cgrf45it's definitely enjoyable to watch, but doesn't hold a candle to TH. Car Trek dudes are having fun and making fun content, but all 3 are pretty clunky on camera in that scripted environment.
@@shoeonhead while I agree, it's not really a fair comparison. TH is a grass-roots, put together by a handful of people. Top Gear had the full weight of Britain's National Broadcaster, teams of writers and producers, and multimillion dollar budgets. Throttle House punch WAY above their weight.
When the GTR came out, all the reviews said it was not as engaging as its contemporary competition. Now it is more engaging than modern competitors. This says a lot about how cars have changed in the last 16 years.
Some of the best things are made and perfected over many years. People seem to forget this. Or you get a product that is half assed with quirks or you get like what you got with the LFA where it took forever to perfect and by the time it came out the competition had more power better electronics for the same price thus not selling nearly the amount they deserved to. People like to bag on the gtr but if infact it isn’t broken and it works why not simply make it better. Works for cost and allows everyone to partake.
@@joshreynolds729The GTR was the best car for the price when it came out , now There tons of better cars for the price then a new GTR, GTR is old technology at this point

Having owned R35 GTR’s over the years starting back in fall of 2008 (an early 2009 model) to a 2013 GTR Premium and lastly a 2017 GTR I can tell you the car has evolved quite a bit more than people sometimes realize, however, if years down the road I was looking to relive that R35 GTR experience it would undoubtedly be the early cars and I have a feeling those will be the most desirable for sure. The 2009 made so many unusual noises that were quieted down dramatically in the newer versions. The center console creaked/rattled on every one I drove, the suspension rode almost the same in every setting ….which was harsh in all, the steering was heavy but with a surprising amount of feel coming back through. The 2013’s was mostly just a better car….engine/trans seemed smoother, the car was rock solid with no squeaks/rattles whatsoever, the brakes were better, just everything improved from the 2009 and in Deep Blue Pearl it really looked great in my opinion and was maybe the peak of its styling. The latest ones were the biggest changes actually came though and the reason why I stopped buying them, the direction and focus of the car was gone once Kazutoshi Mizuno (chief engineer) retired. The 2017 which is mechanically almost identical to the current car was instantly different than the others…..steering was now Lexus like, super light and no feel. The suspension was actually soft in comfort mode, the car had noticeable fake engine noise in the cabin, and all the GTR noises were gone, the interior had a much higher grade leather package available and the car was just different….felt like all the rough edges were completely sanded down. Not to mention that, atleast in my opinion, the cleaner styling of the original design was fully gone by 2017 when they tried to incorporate Nissans “V Motion” grill that was appearing in some form on all their vehicles and the cheap looking lower body cladding along with fussy new wheel designs. Supposedly this direction change was a result of the new GTR project manager (who replaced Mizuno after he was forced into retirement because of age according to Japanese laws) attempting to go after buyers of 911 Turbos and R8 buyers and bring the car upmarket. Except in my opinion those customers never cross shopped the GTR anyways and even if it technically made the GTR a better “car” it actually (in my opinion) made it a worse “GTR”. So my take is, if you want the best GTR experience go with a 2014 or earlier
Yup - those dropping $200,000 want that "status" symbol.... "not all" but - I think there is a factor. " I drive a $200,000 Nissan" does not sound the same as: "I drive a 911"... Also - my assumption is this: A 911 driver is more likely to be left alone on the road - while - a GTR driver is going to face CONSTANT harassment from virtually everyone who "lets race DUDE BRO" has in their possesion the typical "checklist" items: 1) FLAT BILLED HAT
As a 2015 Black Edition owner (owner since 2015) i can approve every word u said above! i tried a 2018 model year but i couldn't get the GTR feeling as my special 2015 Black Edition..love my car and i would keep it as long as i'm alive!
I drove a 2010 Nissan GTR two years ago with over 180,000 kms and it drove incredibly well and was so fast - I’d buy a used and older GTR in a heart beat. I’ll never forget the experience of driving one.

Just bought a 2012 3 months ago for… $60k. I’ve never been happier with a car purchase in my life. This video highlights everything I love about my car and reassures me I made the right choice.
Excellent video. Although I’m surprised that there was little mention of the R35’s significance when it was first launched. It was the car that beat the 997.1 turbo on Nurburgring, at half the cost. It ruffled some feather in Stuttgart. The 997.2 turbo barely kept up in acceleration. Only the 991 turbo finally came and was a competitor on paper. But of course we are now at the end of the 992.1 gen and the GTR remained mostly similar when Porsche was selling the 997.1.
I saw one of these in town at a gas station, Black on black, lowered, even larger exhaust tips...Had no idea what yr it was but one things for sure: that car looked Beastly! I mean it looked like it would Devour whatever it came up upon and spit it out sideways! That thing had Presense, Gobs of it, partly coming from its sheer appearance but also from its heritage...its a Giant killer....Dream car
The old one may be a little bit slower, but for a fraction of the price difference between these you can probably make an old one significantly faster with bolt ons and a tune.
The front engine setup is the only thing that keeps it out of demolishing track records like the 911 or AMG One. I think Nissan could pull it off in making a mid-engine type of car with a hybrid assist electric motor that would be ridiculously fast if they wanted to. I just don't see them going that direction with performance cars anymore after the Z came out. What not everyone knows is the R35 is one of the kings of street racing and tuning. With the VR38 motor a DCT and AWD, it can pretty much beat anything on the road in a straight line once it's been beefed up a little with bigger turbos and built motor.
Thanks for honoring the GT-R legend with an own video! A 2009 GT-R is not neccessarily bad or cheap, it may be a bit more service intense than a first technically revised model. The feeling to drive it can be different, as they became more comfortable in suspension over the years. The question is if a 2024 GT-R is worth a heavy price jump. As an owner of a 2015 GTR I just love this car!
@aryanhussainkhan154 Yeah, they are. I meant used ones. V10s are going for around 100k-170k depending on year and mileage. Huracans seem to stay at 200k+ no matter what, though. Lowest I've seen was 170k but it was either salvage or rebuilt title.
@@Baka_Mop i see. lambos dont seem to depreciate that much. i wonder how the market will be like in 5-10 yrs... i wanna own a grand tourer like a lexus lc500. i bet lexus will discontinue that car... i bet it'll hike up a lot after it's discontinued, like how people treated all the 90s JDM cars.
Watching this made me realise that the fact the R35 is coming to an end, and that we mostly won't get another gen of GT-R like this is more saddening than I thought it would be. I've always admired the R35 for what it is, but now I realise that it is a machine that I will miss.
Back in those years, that launch control from the outrageous and out of this world ATTESA ET-S AWD system was definitely scary. Just wished the Takumi added more gears to the now ancient 6-speed dual clutch like Porsche did.
Because you released this video early in the morning for me, I feel a powerful urge to stop working and drive my 2009 GTR that I have lightly modded up to 650hp for essentially pennies compared to getting a 2024 T-Spec. I bought it new in March 2009 for 73,000 USD. Back then, it really was a bargain. That was easily the best car decision I ever made. It still puts a smile on my face to this day. You can just make it your own in a thousand different ways. I was wondering about the steering feel updates over the years. Thanks so much for making it clear in this video. The 2013 GTR I drove long ago still felt spectacular to drive. If anyone is looking for a "sweet spot" to buy one, look at the 2013 - 2015 or so... Also, it was only 480hp for a few months (at most 9 months) or so in 2009. Nissan provided a minor update and I took my car back to the dealer for an update to 485 on a still stock and warrantied GTR.
I sold the first 2 GTR’s in CO, one of the purchasers was taking it to Russia to sell there. It’s one of the few factory cars that scared the shit out of me when he was driving it. The acceleration is truly nuts, and when he let me drive it I realized this car makes anyone seem like a racer, the way it corners, you can go to hot into a corner and it will fix it, too slow, or wrong angle it fixes everything and the car is always accelerating, it feels like there is not weak spot in the rev range. I’ve tracked raced, autocross, and rally and while I still prefer my lightweight high reving NA rwd cars, that car was 77k I believe in 2008 early 2009, it was a superb deal. The other guy that bought one during the winter and too fast into a corner and curbed the wheel, messed up the front brake and a couple suspension pieces. Unfortunately you can’t replace one tire on that car, the repaired took 30 days and cost 23k, we only had one gtr tech at the time.
I think i bought the cheapest 2009 GTR R35 in all of Canada. I havent seen one for sale for less than $55k CAD and ive had mine for over 3 years. I can tell you that as long as you keep up with your regular maintenance these cars will work and exceed your expectations. Yes you will be paying the GTR preimum tax but its not as bad as compared to other super cars that are comparable. They drive amazing but dont test your luck on doing many launches.

For a long time I thought that the GT-R is to heavy, but now with the M2 at 1.7 tons and all the other new crap, the GT-R is great and I wish that they would keep revising the R35.
Excellent video! Owning a 2013 myself a lot of the things you said about the 09 are things that I tell other people too. What might have been considered "numb and too computer-y" for the time has aged extremely well today and the GT-R compared to what's out today is very raw (esp with mods) About the steering... unfortunately the steering has been numb since 2017, making 2012-2016 the sweet years to buy the car (2013 specifically because it has a slightly more aggressive factory tune that got dialed back from future years)
I want one someday. These have a timeless design to me. I really feel like a stock one will eventually shoot up in value astronomically. Great vid as always guys! Cheers ✨
I am a long-term owner of a GTR R35. It is really a good car, and the modifications are very powerful. It is a good car worthy of being kept in the garage list. Thank you for filming this episode. I hope to see more GTRs in the future. Comparison between R35 and other brands of supercars
I'm so conflicted with the GTR. As that schoolkid who loved that a £60k Nissan was embarassing £150k supercars and dreamed of owning one it was amazing. 15 years later the cheapest being... still £40k is tough I guess if you've got the cash anyway, you're not gonna lose it in depreciation, but the consistent price hikes from Nissan have meant that its bang for buck hero argument is basically completely gone.
Pretty cool to have a small feature in your guys video! I'm the guy standing by the Porsche on the Piloti website ;) Love the Piloti shoes as well. Glad to see you guys getting support and supporting them, great fit!
I paid a bit for mine, but it is PERFECT...2016, single owner, had only ~11k miles, full bolt on already, 800whp, the works. And it was STILL cheaper than a new one!!! WAY faster, too. 😎
I bought a 2013 GT-R black edition. I wanted the good heavy steering and all the mechanical sounds but, I wanted the special add ons over the base premium. Black edition is like the "R" package in the GT350 lineup. Lighter wheels, suspension upgrades, recaros, and carbon fiber wing.
We love the GTR for what it was, not for what it is. The GTR used to beat a 911 off the line, now it costs as much as a 911.wirh less performance (and refinement). The GTR used to be a supercar killer for a fraction of the price, now that title goes to the C8 Corvette. If the GTR were to go on sale today for the very first time it would be comical considering the price. We only show today's GTR respect because of its heritage.
🤓 AKtchually 😂 no but seriously that's mostly just inflation. Cars are collectors items if they have a niche following. Their value increase based on availability and popularity. Supply and demand baby. Also 100k is now considered sports car territory. And 200-550k usually contain the "super" spec models of cars. Respectively hypercas are in a league of their own. People also forget how expensive R&D is. The parts and labor may not cost 2.5 million on the new Bugatti, but some of these teams are spending millions just researching and testing new axles or ways to maintain structural rigidity whilst cutting weight simultaneously. It's a lot. Sorry for the rant. Edit some companies invest billions. That's why Lambo has went broke multiple times.
The price of this T-Spec is getting real close to GT3 territory… hard to justify such a high price tag when there are so many better options out there.
35k clapped out corvette from the same year this car was made is better and has actual use cases. btw, GT3 is almost twice the price on the used market even. Long way gone for interesting cars selling for MSRP
It's one of the last of the "analog" feeling supercars in production though, modern cars can be faster but they feel like I'm driving a spaceship with little feedback. GT3 is probably the closest to the driving feel. The special edition GT-Rs (and other JDM sports cars) have always been insanely priced, they're more of a domestic market seller for them though, and if they can sell a few overseas to collectors and folks with more money than a deity then so be it. Let's put it this way an old (in immaculate condition) and new NSX are about the same price but a lot of drivers still want old one, even though the new one is the objectively better car in nearly every way except for driver engagement and lack of an H shift.
Always liked the look of the original “premium” trim GT35. In many ways, more than the modern versions. Either way all of them are cool. Awesome review and content as always gentlemen.
The biggest thing with the GTR is that still to this day almost nothing can bring its level of power for a similar price, and plenty of people are paying much much MUCH more for much less
I'd buy an older R35 and mod it tastefully, bump the power up to about 600hp and voila, pretty much the ultimate daily supercar. Side note, damn that hakosuka is pretty 😍
yea but is it really necessary? i mean if you're looking for a middle ground solution and checking 2nd hand 15 year old car, hat probably means you're budget concious. it's probably going to be your daily driver; only car. yea, you can make 1000bhp but there'll be more turbo lag, less reliability etc. Every morning before commute, you'll have to check every data of the car just to see that you can make it to work without breaking down.@@2seep
When I was a technician for Nissan.. they told us the customer is literally buying a turn key race car.. everything on the car plays a key role on it performance down to the side mirrors
I had an 09 GT-R for 7 years now I have a 2017 with the Orange Interior. The difference between how it drives is not significant but I appreciate the better interior and the lower road noise on long road trips. It does feel like an old car nowdays but that's why I like it..
Have you guys ever done a test/review of the c5 corvette? If not I think it'd be an awesome idea. It's a great blend of affordable and effective, and I'd love to hear your take on it.
As a Viper lover at the age of 10, I was mortified when they stopped making it and forced to realize I would never be able to buy a brand new Viper. The idea someone can buy the GTR warms my heart.
I remember many years ago, every drag race video that had a GTR in it just had me going "Well yeah we know who's gonna win" And sure enough the Nissan was always the winner.
I'm 35 and used to LOVE the GTR when it debuted. Now I just associate Nissan as the beat up Altima doing 90 weaving in and out of traffic with blacked out tint. And the non existent Z that I've yet to spot in the wild. In Chicago. I wonder why I used to be such a big fan boy of the brand. Imagine taking Godzilla to the dealership and that said Altima pulls up. 😂
I had the R35 in the first month of production here in Tokyo. Compared to my long-gone JZA80 and my E39M5 I didn't find it very engaging, though, and sold it, accidentally buying an F430 convertible manual in the process which I've loved. I never cared for the front, which made it look like a spandex suit was pulled over a frame, part of which was sticking out. I FAR prefer the look of the new one, even though it's only 4% different. I haven't seen the new colors here in Tokyo but the green looks good an the purple looks phenomenal.
I can remember I wanted one of these when i was back in high school and it's hard to believe they are still making them but I'm glad they are, keep it up Nissan
It's possible to diversify your investments at any stage in life. I personally sought out new investment options as I am in my 40s. I received a recommendation for a trustworthy broker from influential figures in the market and with her assistance, I was able to significantly grow my assets from $250,000 to $1,000,000 within the first two months of the year.
I lnvested across the top markets but not by myself though. I also follow the guidelines of Evelyn infurna. I can correctly say she is worth her salt as an investment advisor as her diversification skills is top-notch, I say this because of the results, as my portfolio grows by averages of 20 to 30% every month, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he places and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.she gave me that financial freedom I needed.
The fact that they can get a used GTR for that kind of money is incredible. It really puts cars with markup and perspective. For example, there’s Marco on the new Honda Civic Type R’s push them into the 70K range. At 70K they compete with nothing at that class. The fact that you get to use GTR for cheaper is insane.
The only real "sin" Nissan committed was not updating the interior electronics. The aftermarket setup in that 2009 is a bit much, maybe a screen half that size and keep all the analog buttons and dash. I'm glad they are still taking orders and putting fresh chassis on the streets though, and it doesn't keep the older chassis from loosing value also, mark of a classic in making. If I had that amount of money burning a hole in my pocket I would get a new one in MPIII please and thank you! If I was building a track day car, definitely an older one to upgrade the cooling for track duty.
I love everything about this Japanese goodness. The hardware, the performance and especially the design. Inside and out the look of this thing is amazing and so unique.
Why would I rather buy a new GT-R than an old one? Because, in my experience these kind of enthusiast cars are meant for the first owner to enjoy. They're just a money incinerator for everyone else.
A friend of mine had the early pre-facelift 2008 GTR and the facelift 2018 Nismo GTR. Even though they're quite similar, the facelifted one has less janky gearbox and is easier to drive even though its a Nismo. He had the pre-facelift's gearbox set and tuned but couldn't get it right. Nevertheless, they're reliable and never let him down even once.
I bought my 2009 GTR in 2013 and it has been my daily driver since. I think about selling it every summer but there is nothing to upgrade to for the price. I modified it as well, all stock exterior with 750hp on pump 93.

The width is what gets you cause oh my
Yep. It's insane how NOT photogenic this car is. It's like that 7 you reluctantly meet up with from a dating app and she shows up as a 9.3 and you are blown away. The exhaust pipes are huge on the GTR, you can fit your fist
Exactly, I saw one on the road today and it changed my whole perspective
Exactly true. First time I saw one of these on the road I expected it to give me an uppercut, pictures absolutely do not to it justice.
It first came out in 2008.
Then you put it for sale brand new with only 50 miles “from the factory”

After 15 years of updates, I expected way more considering the price tag jump. I’d settle for a 2014 one. It’s modern, and it has 545hp.
Got a similar deal on a clean title 2010 back in 2018, still have it. So happy i found it when I did before the prices shot back up. Love this car.

Works for cost and allows everyone to partake.

i can never help myself from saying "nothing feels like a GT-R" everytime i get to drive one. They are so iconic cars.
Yeah they drive like total garbage. Iconic my ass.
Also - my assumption is this: A 911 driver is more likely to be left alone on the road - while - a GTR driver is going to face CONSTANT harassment from virtually everyone who "lets race DUDE BRO" has in their possesion the typical "checklist" items:
1) FLAT BILLED HAT

Excellent video. Although I’m surprised that there was little mention of the R35’s significance when it was first launched. It was the car that beat the 997.1 turbo on Nurburgring, at half the cost. It ruffled some feather in Stuttgart. The 997.2 turbo barely kept up in acceleration. Only the 991 turbo finally came and was a competitor on paper. But of course we are now at the end of the 992.1 gen and the GTR remained mostly similar when Porsche was selling the 997.1.
I love the old school analog gauges in the new gtr. It still feels like a proper sports car rather than a bunch of screens.
Do you actuallly need one when you drive? I think that it need only for speeedlimits.
When the R35 came out, it was THE benchmark for the quarter mile time. Beat everything else. Legendary car

The fact these cars have stayed consistent speaks volumes to their value.

I guess if you've got the cash anyway, you're not gonna lose it in depreciation, but the consistent price hikes from Nissan have meant that its bang for buck hero argument is basically completely gone.

Black edition wheels aren’t any lighter and you get the same struts and springs as premium. Black edition is nothing more than cosmetics.
It's no longer a "super car killer" when it cost base model $130k and Nismo version over $200k
Used one is a good bargain tho..
Just checked Nissan's website. The NISMO actually starts at $220k, at least in the US.

The price of this T-Spec is getting real close to GT3 territory… hard to justify such a high price tag when there are so many better options out there.
That’s why you just buy a Premium for about $122k. The Tspec is awesome, but not worth it imo.
35k clapped out corvette from the same year this car was made is better and has actual use cases.
btw, GT3 is almost twice the price on the used market even. Long way gone for interesting cars selling for MSRP
Also consider that you're basically getting a 16 year old "new" sports car for new supercar prices.
Yup. Nismo parts are great but also overpriced so having some Nismo parts on the T-spec, the price is bound to jump.
That MPIII is pretty sick though on the modern one, either that or the Millennium Jade would be great with maybe a tasteful aftermarket front bumper.
The biggest thing with the GTR is that still to this day almost nothing can bring its level of power for a similar price, and plenty of people are paying much much MUCH more for much less
Apart from the road trip, this is hands down my favorite video series. Thanks guys.

I'd buy an older R35 and mod it tastefully, bump the power up to about 600hp and voila, pretty much the ultimate daily supercar.
Side note, damn that hakosuka is pretty 😍
That is too mild. Many people daily 1100who gtrs
yea but is it really necessary? i mean if you're looking for a middle ground solution and checking 2nd hand 15 year old car, hat probably means you're budget concious. it's probably going to be your daily driver; only car. yea, you can make 1000bhp but there'll be more turbo lag, less reliability etc. Every morning before commute, you'll have to check every data of the car just to see that you can make it to work without breaking down.@@2seep
My 700hp 991.2 Turbo S with only a tune begs to disagree on the ultimate daily supercar idea. ;)
My 700 hp GTR would disagree with your Porsche. Because I saved a hell of a lot more money 🤭
These intros are the heart of car reviews 😂
Can I say throttle house production team works overtime, the clips shots and edits is amazing
When I was a technician for Nissan.. they told us the customer is literally buying a turn key race car.. everything on the car plays a key role on it performance down to the side mirrors
These intros never get old.
The original 2008 design looks the best imo. Love it.
Yup well I like the wheels better
Holy crap that old Skyline GTR was a beaut.
First time I tried GTR on the track I was amazed that was in 2009 . Tried 2017 years latter but memories from first generation just felt better .
I had an 09 GT-R for 7 years now I have a 2017 with the Orange Interior. The difference between how it drives is not significant but I appreciate the better interior and the lower road noise on long road trips. It does feel like an old car nowdays but that's why I like it..
For that price I'll just buy the zo6
I would honestly take the Hakosuka over any of those. 🙂
And you would be gay
If the Hakosuka was like $30k I'd do it in a heartbeat. But for the price that one demands today, no fucking way lmao.
same thought
@SlashCampable I mean, if you have money to spend you can buy it. It will only increase in price. You just can't use it 😅
@@vlad1889 If I had the money. I would buy one, restomod it and drive the shit out of it. 😄
this is going to be amazing, cheers!
Pulling up in that classic GTR was a huge flex 💪😎
One of the best specs for a gtr with the cheapest
I think the GT-R is still a good looking car. When you get the styling right, it just stands the test of time. Nice job Nissan!
I remember many years ago, every drag race video that had a GTR in it just had me going "Well yeah we know who's gonna win"
And sure enough the Nissan was always the winner.
and than you realize both this cars made for the same kind of people
The interior still looks like an Altima 16 years later.
You're right; it's never too late to start preparing for retirement.
Run a quick online research with her name.
Evelyn Infurna
She's quite popular for her services. She can work with anyone irrespective of where you're located.
$350k for the nismo??? please have the nissan execs heads examined
Marco Polo 😅
I actually was in middle school when this became my dream car, and am now married with 2 kids. It’s like you were speaking directly to me.
There's nothing wrong with the Nissan GTR. The sound makes it all worth it👌👍👌😎. And they are making the car better every year. Carry on 😁😉
The only real "sin" Nissan committed was not updating the interior electronics.
2009 best looking R35. Simplistic and super
Idk what it is but I love the old feel of tactile and mechanical buttons instead of a giant screen.
that car launched at 80K MSRP, so only 20K price drop of 25% in 15 years. man cool cars never become affordable
Crazy how the old one looks more modern on the outside
Love the updated Lightning Bolt headlights on the 2009 GTR! The 2009-2012 R35s hold their value!
Throttle House editing team deserves a raise.. Throttle House editing team deserves a raise..
I see your trying to hold the smile away , nissan GTR is the greatest supercar ever made . big , roomy , comfortable, and fast. Also was the "Nurburgring King " for many years!
