Nolan Driving the R34 in Silence is something that A non car Guy / Gal would not undertand. The Color, the weather, the track. It's Perfection. No wonder he got emotional, Heck, Any enthusiast would. Was smiling from ear to ear. One of the best vidoes on the channel.

Spent some time at Fuji this winter, and that was the kind of weather we had for the entire day. Couldn't even see the end of the stands in the fog. Was surreal.

And when they driven the R33 halfway of the track with the snow coming in, it's like "the oncoming of a legendary godzilla about to be introduced" made it so epic! I mean what more could we get right?
Man, that moment we could appreciate the aero effect from the front bumper streaming to the rear while driving. Also the introduction song kicked in with the phonk music, I'm in tears of joy watching it and enjoy it's true beauty.
Then it stopped snowing at the R35 is mindblowing as in like, enjoy while you can with the power it could produce.

Honestly one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. I love watching content creators grow to their maximum potential and actually enjoy what they're doing. I'm not sure if I will ever get to drive an R34, but if I do, I will probably also get teary-eyed.

The R34GT-R 24 years on still amazing to drive. I always use that car in Juiced 2 and Eliminator.
Awesome job, guys! I'm jealous as I'm sure most watching this are, but especially since I've never actually driven any GTR's (I do drive a 2015 Juke, but don't hate on me too much lol) I love the 32 because it's "Godzilla" and how can you not, but that 34 doe.... Maybe someday I'll get to drive at least one of these if not all of them like you guys were lucky enough to do. Keep up the awesome work gentlemen!

When I was stationed in Okinawa in the USMC I had a second Gen Skyline Turbo. Loved that car. Too bad I couldn't bring it back with me.

These are GT-rs not Skylines. R35 never has been a Skyline. They still make Skylines for japan and THIS is not it.

I love that Nolan cried in the R34. I mean honestly, how awesome can your life get? He gets to review and talk about cars with seemingly really cool guys. The best part is he gets paid to do it. I would be so thankful man.

A was lucky enough to grow up watching the ATCC (Australian Touring Car Championship) back in the 70's, 80's and 90's and my favourite car was R32 which was so dominant it killed Group A in Australia. The R32 will always be my favourite, but I think the 2nd Generation is the most beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't say no to one of each. 😄

Nolan's reaction was definitely how I felt when I visited Japan for the first time and got to actually see one in its motherland. I started tearing up because it was so surreal that I was living such a dream in real time. And I didn't even get to drive it lol

I was in Malta for vacation last week and there was a blue one just casually parking at a house on the opposite side of the street. Me and my friends drove by it like 3 times. Now I regret not checking it out on foot... :D

Outside of R35, I think R33 is the most supercar-looking GTR. R32 and R34 look more like rally cars. But that R33, especially from behind - almost a Ferrari or a Corvette!

@@segicus yeah I wish the rest of the world could experience some of the muscle cars we have Finland or Sweden is about as close as you'll come even though muscle cars were perfected by the Aussies (holden torana a9x and the Ford falcon XB are two of my favorites) but their not as powerful as everyone thinks American cars are actually pretty turned down from 73 till the mid 2000s due to smog regulations and all those cool euro tuner cars we never got due to emission laws
This could be a great mini series for the channel! And a great way to get the car community involved! You could do a video driving every Z, every Corvette, every Mustang, Camaro, Evo, WRX, Silvia, bunch of options!

I had the pleasure to drive the R35 back in 2012 as a birthday gift through supercar rental. It was an unreal experience and obviously am bias towards that one (the only GT-R I've touched, let alone driven). But the emotion in this video is why I'm an enthusiast and why I love Donut!
I love all the Donut guys. You all make the videos more fun and interesting.
This has got to be one of my favorite donut videos in recent memory. Honestly this whole “driving every generation of a car” series is so amazing and everything from the camera angels to music choice is amazing. I hope to see more videos like this, hopefully we can get one on the Supra next

As a former R31 owner I must say that the R31 really gets under your skin, as you start to push the car towards its limits it reveals an addictive character: almost goading you to go faster, while always hinting that at any moment it could send you spearing off backwards.
The others may be faster or more historically important, but the R31 will remain my personal favourite.

I've owned four different R31s over the last 18 years. Loved every one of them. I like that they are essentially a blank slate for modding, they can look so cool with some really simple mods. Yeah, not as fast as an R32, but still fun.

R-34 is an emotion
Ive owned a couple, r30 turbo and r31 3.0, only cars ive had that have no trouble sliding all 4 at over 100kph and still feel stable and controllable, even on big long bends you could just stay on it till traction faded and theyd just casually slide around and find a line again with a little bit of a jiggle.

Seeing a lifelong goal achieved from someone we have come to know and love was awsome.
When you watch the emotions of Nolan driving the R34, it brought back the memories of every 15 year old who's watched FF1 and dreamed that they would get a car like this one day. I almost shed a tear myself because this was what dreams were made of. This segment is the closest thing to the feelings that Top Gear with the Trio gave me and I PRAY that you continue to make great content like this. Thanks Donut!

Even though I almost always went Evo over Skyline in almost any car game I've played in the last decade and a half, I can still appreciate this car for being what it is and what it represents. If nothing else memories of Paul Walker driving it in 2F2F keeps this car near and dear to my heart. The R34 Skyline will forever be one to remember.
Such a good video and idea. Nolan is the most down to earth guy, and shows through videos like this how relatable he is. Everyone can see themselves in him while watching his emotions and energy. Also, this one had a nice WheelHouse type vibe to it, which has been missed by the real OG subscribers for sure.

Tears came to my eyes when Nolan was driving the R34. It's like more than a car. It's a legendary car and as a car guy, we should drive a one at least once.
Yeah ... but they didn't really drive it hard at all, 😒 A bit of a disappointment to be honest, any car can cruise but its only alive when driving Hard on the track - which didn't happen with the R34, 😑😪

I love these kinds of series that you put on, however, I think this video is more of an introduction rather than showcasing the performance of each cars compared to the “best viper” vid that you made because you drive those cars really hard.

The R33 has always been my favorite GT-R similar to why the Evo VI is my favorite generation of Lancer Evolution. Mid 90s body style absolutely jam packed with tech and engineering, resulting in a car that not only performs great, but is insanely easy to drive normally.
