@@ariqrachmannbl To be honest while the R8 still looks great, its V10 has been spoilt by soft limiters in most markets.
@@thenovicegamer007 so does other cars even gtr, so v10 with limiters is better than i6 vacuum with a limiter

Awesome video, as always, lads. Thank you! PS: the 911 will always have a reserved special spot in my heart. That car is legendary.
I have just binged an hour and a half of this channel. My new favourite. Congrats boys. Putting on for our home and native land, Canada
The Kings of car journalism! Throttle house does it better than anyone else. These guys need a full on every week show on cable TV with high salaries! My favourite car duo ever.
Can’t believe I get to watch content of this quality for free!
If you get ads then its not free.
The best car show on youtube ,funny and briliant at thevsame time
😂 he said the porche sounds like an angry vaccum cleaner
he stole that joke from carwow

OMG that feeling is indescribable!
The amount of emotion you guys are able to capture out of these cars is truly remarkable. I have been watching you guys for a little over a year now and every review/ comparison video you make are truly special. The amount of time and research that has to go in to these video's I'm sure is extensive, but I assure as a young viewer your videos thus far have continued to ignite my love for cars and all the differentiations between them. Thank you and keep em coming!
P.S. Im sure you'll likely never see this comment, but thank you for reading and knowing that you guys inspire me and I'm sure many others. Thank you for your handwork and dedication.
More of the 930 on Throttle House Extra please!
Ya! In-depth review would be five star!
I am so obsessed with the 911 Turbo S, and I want it in that Crayon color. But I have to admit, I have no idea when or where I would ever use that insane amount of speed and power
which is why you go for an audi r8 which has more character and a objectively better sounding n/a higher revving v10..
@@roboticvenom1935 yet still the clearly inferior car...porsche is the best around.
I want the same car as you! Same color too! It’s brilliant
their expressions after the drag race made my day..love you guys
" It's kinda like john wick... subtle, calm, keeps to itself ,doesn't bother any one..
But if you piss it off.......*focusing on the porsche logo with very dramatic music *"
Just wow
All john wick movies are trash and thats a fact

These videos resemble the golden age of Top Gear more and more each day. Of course, that's GREAT.
as an editor, I really appreciate the production/editing that goes into these videos just to enhance it ever so subtly. the vertigo effect @3:42 wasn't even important to the storyline imo, but it sure did make a difference to grab the viewers attention (like me lol)
😉
I’ll choose the Turbo S all day long
It’s an absolute monster
Same. It’s just ludicrously fast and you can drive it everyday
Its ugly af tho
Id take the 991.2,honestly.
Waaay prettier,with a quiter interior,just a bit slower,tho,at 2.7s to 100kmh,and a top speed of,I believe,335 or sumn like that.
Put an aftermarket exhaust on tha bad boi and boom... Perfection.
the R8 is kinda ugly
2022 911 GT3.
The look in the intro...............🔥🔥🤙
I'd DEFINITELY take the R8!
The 911 doing the track was nuts. Loved it.
Love how consistent the quality stays no matter the content you guys put out. I’ve watched this video, the cullinan/maybach, 720s, every hellcat/redeye/demon, and a few others multiple times and they’re all just so entertaining, informative, and real deal captivating. Gotta keep it coming 🔥🔥🔥
good job, this video convinced me to buy the c8 corvette
26:18 when you bring a snack to school.
🤣💯
The looks of the R8 and sound is just amazing, V10 all day
100% drag race results are meaningless. It's a no brainer - V10!
@@spilot1016 sooo you buy a car for its sound right? What about track time, reliability and performance overall
@@terminator5084 I'd rather the GT3 manual or the vanilla Flat 6 to the Turbo S, it's just a numbers car for people who want to flex. The R8 is more visceral to use day to day, it's got a bit of everything and an amazing soundtrack.
The Turbo S is just fucking quick and that's about it.
@@daveseemerollin6357 not just quick its reliable and daily drivable and if that's your opinion no problem
@@terminator5084 They are both close so the sound might actually be the reason to buy over the other.
I love each and every video more than the last! Awesome!!
that screaming 5.2L NA V10 has such a visceral feel 😍😘
You guys are amazing. So far best reviewing any car ever
These guys are so good they are literally too good for youtube
That V10 sound 😍😍😍
This is the best comparison video I've ever seen
Due to all the carwow videos I've watched, I'm only to see the Porsche win😂
R8 is underrated ASF. I'd pick that V10 over the 911 all day, any day. Because speed isn't everything, the car should have some kind of character to it, that's what the V10 provides.
@Matthew Henly well in my opinion it clearly is!
I love both cars and I would probably struggle picking between the two. I am a VW Group fan, and regardless of which one you buy, you are still supporting the VW Group.
I wouldn’t choose either. I’d pick the new GT3 manual! 👍🏻
Congrats guys…amazing video!!!
This channel is without a doubt the best auto review source on any kind of media. Content and editing are ridiculously high quality. How is this entertaining show with very accurate reviews not signed to a big label or network yet? Honestly I hope you guys keep it real and earn more here on RUclips. Well done.
Could not agree more with you. it’s even better than the grand tour.. and that is the best compliment that they can possibly receive.
Let it remain pure when u bring in a big network u often lose the magic that made the original product amazing
Wish quality is lower so they can produce more. Would like to see reviews for non turbo 992 too (because that's only thing I could afford).
9:04 reminded me of Hermione, “ *Nearly* headless? How can you be *nearly* headless” lol
Hahaha I came to the comments looking for this! First thing I thought of.
@@MacNSteeez glad I wasn’t the only one!
WOWW that Porche is ....... FASTTT lol
The production quality is so good...I'm in ❤ with throttle house...
Discontinuing gasoline engines makes me feel old because (25 yo) I can already hear myself in the retirement home telling the youth how cars used to be mechanical machines, and they'll be looking at me like I was describing a record player.
Possibly. But I think there will always be a place for gasoline engines. Once most cars will be electrified, I think there will always be a small enthusiast market for gas engines.
Porsche is trying for clean fuel, but I think that will only be temporary.
@@TheChimples I hope to god, I'll be with ya in that small porche-ion 😉
Efuel will save us
@@TheChimples Yeah, but you will be only allowed to drive them on the track. At least in the EU. They will ban gasoline cars from public roads in the next 10-15 years for sure. Plus eventually you won't be allowed to drive manually on public roads either, cars will drive on autopilot. I honestly think that this is the last decade of us being able to enjoy cars and driving on public roads.
I just don't like the back of the R8.. But the new back of the Porsche is sick with that straight line.. If you see it in the dark its just majestic..
The R8 is SUCH a beautiful and timeless car aaaahhhh why am I poor

Epic video and proper funny! The hands on the audi HVAC controls had me in stitches
You have come a long way, Throttle House. The production quality right now is brilliant. Love the way you bring information, good journalism, humor and excitement to the table unlike many other channels. Keep it up and keep growing. You guys are hands down one of my absolute favourites. Love the chalk colour of the 911. This and the nardo grey of the RS3.
Oh, and the fire orange of the M3!
