Please, people do a small patch test first somewhere on your body. I used baking soda on my pits years ago and it was the most painful experience. Rashes that had me crying. It’s not for everyone. I’d hate for you to go all in THEN find out it’s not for you!
@@marsharowaihy6725 don't laugh at me... but I bought some salt n pepper shakers from dollar tree, filled them with the baking soda and put a few drops of your fave oil..my fave for that is baby powder 😊
My armpit has been smelling bad all my life because I dint want to use chemical neither did the deodorant did good job whenever I have used them. I tried baking soda after watching this video and whoa the smell is gone COMPLETELY. No smell even after 48 hours.
I've tried baking soda and I broke out in the worst, most painful rash ever. My dermatologist said for some of us it can dry out the skin and suck out our natural oils to this point. I tell ya, it was painful, itchy and miserable for over two months. I use cornstarch now.
Get a lemon! Squeeze some out and just dab it under your pits. I don't recommend rubbing because the skin is sensitive. I never believed it would work for me until I tried it. I was shook!
Baking soda definitely works but beware not to over use it as i got extra dry and irritated skin in that area after.. also the baking soda totally took the colour out of my clothing by the armpit area only obviously, had to give away those new clothes cuz of that 😢.. but overall oncce u take precautions its actually good in moderation.
Thanks for the advice. Since almost 20 years I use deodorant without aluminum since I'm allergic to it. Crystal last a long time and works really great
Been using it for years ... I just dust a little baking powder under my arms and it works better than any deo stick I used to use and keeps me feeling fresh all day 😃
Be careful though. I used baking soda and water to wash under my arms and it burned like acid. I had reddish burn type marks for almost a week. My skin is usually not sensitive like that. 😢
Good idea - I have a generator my father (an electrical engineer) made so I do use colloidal silver for a lot of things. Sometimes I just dab some lavender essential oil which kills bacteria too and smells nice.
@@kristiejefferies6919 For the eyes, I buy it in The Vitamin Shoppe at a concentration of 10 ppm. For other uses, I make it myself with a colloidal silver generator at a concentration about 15 ppm.
I mix baking soda, coconut oil and essential oils in a glass jar. Use about a nickel size dab and rub it thoroughly in the armpits and the surrounding area.
I use natural deodorant and sometimes I use your remedy with the baking soda. It's removed the odor immediately. And my body just loves me Dr Mandell 😌😍❤
It works but you only need very little or else it will dry out your skin and make you itchy. All you need is a tiny pinch and add a few drops of water. That’s it!
I’ve done this for 35 years works great
Do u just use it when u step out of the shower? And do u apply it with fingers or make a paste, or ?

Yes the best 👍

Many Thanks for ur Alert:).
I did that, hurt like he'll. Now I do it dry. It will still stick to your body or use a very small amount of water
Same. I can’t even use deodorant that contains baking soda. Thanks for sharing this info.
I used native deodorant and the same thing happened to me because I used the one who has baking soda 😂😂😂😂
I do sometimes and it is much better than deodorants as it lasts a lot longer. You wake up the next day with no smelly armpits
Agreeeeeee
Thi works for snell but I still sweat. I need a natural persprent
Can I ask, do you do this before or after showering ?
@@princelulu332 after showering. You can either mix the bicarb with coconut oil or water.
Thank you
Been using it for years. It’s far more effective than deodorants. And unlike many deodorants, it’s not cancerous.
And much cheaper
Is that why so many people have armpit cancer?
@Ottophil it's why many women get breast cancer
Damn baking soda is good for everything 👍🏻💯
Also baking soda mixed with cornstarch is great.
Thanks, great tip
Amazing!!!! Never cease to amaze me !!! Awesomest!!!! To share what he had to study to help the world of people!!!!
GOOD IDEA DOCTOR MANDELL THANK U 🙏🙏🙏
I Needed This NATURAL Tip Thank You Dr. Mandell 💜
I mix baking soda with a small amount of coconut oil till it’s a paste and use that. It works great plus it moisturizes your armpits! Ty doc! ❤
it doest not get wet the armpit? I mean sweat...
It works!!!! I used coconut oil and baking soda to make a paste. I’ve never been fresher!
Great tip, thank you
I tried this, it works! So ridiculously simple and effective.
Mixed with coconut oil, it is the best deodorant .
Thank you. Arm & Hammer is for cleaning only. Better choice is natural sodium bicarbonate, less the aluminum. Bob’s Red Mills is a good brand.
❤
Baking Soda has so many uses.
Works like a charm for me. Only need to apply it every other day.
Hello hope your doing great i just wanted to ask how much time should i be putting it under my armpits
THANK YOU DR MANDELL!!👍👍👍👍
Will try thanks for looking out for my health 😊
I wound up doing this 17 years ago
I use it with coconut oil it works really well for me
Coconut oil... thanks I'll try it this way, since people are saying it could be iritating.
Mixing Baking Soda with Coconut oil won't it be sticky on your armpit?
Won't if staining clothes

It can be a skin irritant and cause a rash. Try it, but be aware.

Do a detox for your armpit with bentonite clay that's why natural deodorant didn't work
Thank you so much Dr. Mandell
Thanks 😊 Dr.Mandell for caring so much about others.
Baking soda does so much for how inexpensive it is❤
It works but can be harsh on some skin types. I used baking soda for a while but got a rash from it.
Just took a baking soda bath. My skin feels so fresh and clean
