These vids are great. You wait for the door to go click and start opening because you know the Air Raid Siren is about to sound off. Certainly remember living in Maramarua near State Highway 2 and being in the middle where you could hear the air raid sirens from the three stations in the area. We knew if all three went off State Highway 2 would be closed owing to a fatal accident
Australia doesn't really use the siren to alert for callouts but are still equipped with sirens that are used mostly for Anzac/remembrance day and guard of honers. The stations around me also, do not use air raid sirens, I'm not sure what they are but they're single rotor

@@vipcrafter8800 die Gemeinde bei uns hat 250 einwohner und ein MLF und rücken zu 2-8 Einsätzen aus fahrt ihr wenn das fahrzeug voll ist auch mit den Privat autos hinterher ? (ich bin leider nicht in der FF)
@@lukaskruger22 bei einem größeren Einsatz ja. Bei kleineren lohnt sich das nicht. Allerdings bekommen wir das Fahrzeug nur nachts und am Wochenende voll
@@vipcrafter8800 ok in der gemeinde kriegen die das eigentlich immer voll ist aber auch auf dem dorf wo viele in der Landwirtschaft arbeiten und die ersten einsatzkräfte sind meistens schon nach dem 2 aufheulen am Gerätehaus aber ist glaube ich auch nicht immer der Fall das sie hinterher fahren

Nice to see that places like Australia/ New Zealand have UK air raid sounding sirens. It sounds just like a British Air raid siren!
Well, we are former British colonies and those ARE ex-WWII sirens that have been repurposed.
