The polls on Knux's hot rod are explosive lances or Thunderpoons. They're spears with an explosive device on the end used to attack enemies. The car is a pursuit vehicle, meant to chase down and fight other cars in the waists. Knux drives the car while Slit, his lancer, can crawl over the car between the two perches in the back and front and throw the lances at their targets.
“Cranky frank” was one of the worst cars they used on fury road, given that it had a massive blower and that the driver seat was in the middle as well as a massive visor and no windshield
The problem with the gyrocopter is even without people shooting it is a death trap. If nothing else every landing is a terrible risk reward ratio. Being in the air too you are basically telling anyone where you are. Peacemaker is horribly unreliable...and I'd rather need to change a tire then a tread. Really what you probably want is a lightly armored GEO Metro at nearly 50mpg but so dinky you aren't going to look appealing enough to bother with. Face it, nobody in a gigahorse is looking at a geo metro and thinking it would be useful to salvage the suspension or three cylinder engine off it. I appreciate your non-heroic regular person take on some of these like "I'm probably falling out of there." LOL

It looks like it's frame is bent aswell, but it may just be the body or the angle at which the photo is taken.

The Ford f- 100 would be the best 4x4 vehicle however the motorcycle is better for gas mileage and getting into tighter spaces.
