    Hey!
In this video we'll take a look at how Fury Road cars performed in real life.
Cars of Fury Road are insane, but those looks come at a price. Some of those cars looked amazing on screen but were a pain in the butt for the mechanics and they didn't perform as well in real life. In this video we'll take a look at top 5 cars that caused some issues for the production crew and also have a quick look at cars that were too dangerous to even appear in the movie!

The Howe & Howe Ripsaw was originally designed to test their track design which is a really good design for making extremely fast tracked vehicle. However, the problem with the track design is low bearing life and tension issues. Basically the tracks dislike fine sand or mud. (I've only seen one video of their machine driving in mud and it's the oldest video of the machine) Their work with the military has been experimental mainly. With remote controlled versions of the vehicle as ground based attack "drones" or load carrying support vehicles for foot soldiers.
Honestly, the head mechanic for the movie seems like an amazing mechanic since he was able to correct the issues with a vehicle built by self proclaimed pros.

They tried various chassis layouts, but V8 rear drive was considered the worst by far, and rear V8 front drive (yes, really) want much better. They went with front engine, front drive, fuel injection and hot cams, balancing and lightening the internals etc in the end (supercharging was tried but heat soak was an issue)
All very much 'as I recall' as the old man is brown bread these days, though. Sounded like fun times (his main work was on the rear suspension)
That mini did well in its class, too!

I was just a child when I first saw mad max 2, I could not believe the action scenes and the cars were incredible my parents did not let me see it because they considered it very violent but when I learned to use the vhs you can record it on TV and see it Thousands of times, it always caught my attention that cars were driven on the right side, I thought it was something from the movie or the future ... then I grew up and understood that it was another way of driving in other countries. That is why I have tried to get a car with a right-hand drive since then but in Argentina it is almost impossible I have even tried to adapt my datsun bluebird 910sss but I can't get the Australian parts. But well I did not know that there were mad max fans like me, in my country the movie was not successful but it was a childhood. Thanks for sharing
