    use the mecanical level for adjusting and nut the guage ,also how can adjust the lower bearing with the upper '(a lot of mitakes )by this way you'll never get the concentricity as it was befor

    Use a line boring and line welding machine like the rest of the world! But first you have to move on from stick welding to MiG welding.

    Waymtching this worries me seeing this repair, so many things wrong! Poorly prepped surfaces, no chamfer to fully weld the piece in, thin material round the outer edge this is a ticking time bomb for failure! Granted its impressive that the guys can make a repair from scrap material and minimal tools but a couple of extra measures would insure a longer lasting repair

    The best mechanics I seen work on dirt floors , gentlemen in the comment section watch and keep silent if you disagree with the work create your own Chanel so you can teach all of us how is done .

      There are lots of excellent mechanics in the is part of the world, It's just that these guys are an embarrassment to all the mechanic's that know you don't cut out the main support for the vehicle and then weld it back together with just surface welds on top of the paint. They've got the tools there to do it correctly, why are they not doing it?

    Umm packed the pivot bearing in the wrong way around, no way to add load to them now

      @kamilkwasiborsk861 Год назад

      I thought so too. Tapered face down so that load is pushing it into the taper. But that's just my understanding, could be wrong.

    Huh! On our Fiat-ALLIS they were taper roller bearings so all I had to do was make shims that pushed them in together more...lasted for many years until we sold up.

    • @DINGERscotland
      @DINGERscotland Год назад +1

      Britain is already doing repairs to old machinery the difference is the repair is done properly! But even at that we have lost our way with thinking outside the box and to used to replacement items and throwaway things now! Ah it's broke let's buy a new one!

    • @kamilkwasiborsk861
      @kamilkwasiborsk861 Год назад

      I'd say that Britain is the complete opposite to the kinds of the repairs that are done in the video. h&s in turned up to 11, you have to ware eye protectors to use a parts washer, otherwise you may be laiable for law suit. As always the truth is somwhere in the middle. You should be wearing safety boots when using oxy fuel cutters, but don't make people wear full flameproof overalls on top of your work clothes, when there is 30 degrees + outside and hig vis jacket and hard hat and googles and ear deffenders and thick gloves and steel cap toe boots and a person to watch you work with your mom on speed dail.🤣

    That's very far from expert... Cutting a goddamn whole on the floor, cutting out a structuraly important part, leave dirt in it, then STICKweld some metal there, expert, sure.

  • @buyamerican3191

    "expert" mechanics? this does not look like a "CAT" approved repair facility. Looks more like transvestites attempting a new skill. I'm surprised they actually installed a new bearing but beating the crap out of it installing it I'm sure will make it last longer. The "rolling" jack looks safe enough, what could go wrong?
