I like the 'torque-by-feel' tightening sequences, also tighten the big bolts to 1/4 of turn before stripping. The limited slip differential is now a full-slip differential, also hammering the bearings in place is absolutely primo. Our western society has a lot to "learn" from these 'experienced mechanics/engineers'. I'm impressed......
I’m thinking the hydraulic actuated front differential lock shelled itself out. Their solution was to remove the teeth from the clutch packs making the front wheel lock not work. Problem is that doing that makes the loader less efficient for pushing materials?? Makes sense…

I never saw what was broken? Just looked like the chopped off the teeth on the clutch plates rather than fix what was actually wrong. Allot of work to take away a critical function, oh well...
No, that's not normal repair procedure. They basically removed the limited slip function of the differential and turned it into an open diff. The reason for limited slip differential is if one wheel got stuck in slippery mud and the other wheel is on firmer ground then the torque from the engine will not escape through the side with no traction. It locks both wheels together and allow the machine to send more torque to the wheel that has good traction.
i presume they heared loud noises out of the front axle. so they think somethings broken. but the real thing is only wrong or very old axle oil. because off the limited slip clutches you need special öl. called LS additiv. but the stupids dont know about this.
Differential lock is needed in very specific situations. It depends on the use they are giving to the machine. There are machines that during lifespan did not need a differential lock at any time.
Cleaning the parts should be using a paint brush...shop owner not providing a paint brush? Using only by hands😁and i will not see what they are repairing.maybe only for content😂
