Hello Amazing. Sure hope the fly wheel bolts need 200 ft lbs, because they got it. Would have been nice to see the crank bearing surfaces lubed, most others were. That nuclear waste poured into the coolant passages to loosen the cyl liners was nasty. It worked though. Kinda horrifying to see it wind up on the ground. Better hope you guys are immune to all the evil chemicals in that dirt. Scary stuff. Looks like that engine will work for years more, you got it done. Not pretty but good job anyway. Good luck.

Little children have no place in doing that kind of work but rather should be in school. A good country would take care of its people and make sure that all children receive a good education. This is not right.

we may say that their technique is crude. but they did the job and people keep sending those engines to overhaul to them. that means is a job well done. congratulations. with only simple tools, they managed to do the overhaul. and it runs great.

Wow, nice again, first time I've seen a monkey wrench (Cresent) use by these super experienced mechanics, lol, oh well, like the other dude said, torque specs? Just tighten it till it strips, then back it off a quarter turn.

Give those young guys some proper tools and equipment I bet they fit in just fine over here. I’ve done what they are doing in the bush many times in the northern Canadian wilderness no options up there either a lot of the time.

It would be cheaper to fly them out to have them rebuild an engine in your garage and they would even bring there own tools with 1 bag and be entertaining to watch then flybtjem back
