Commie, just saying.
I used to bang valve springs off like that doing valve seals in Hyundai excels in the 90’s lol …Clamp a pair of vice grips onto a 13/16 spark plug socket , put bearing grease in the Socket . Pressurize the cylinder you’re working on with an adapter from your compression gauge hooked up to shop air to keep the valves closed , then hold the socket on the top of the spring then smack it with the hammer , the grease catches the keepers lol

Amazing work. Let's not forget that these people are poor, but they are still willing to work hard.
There millions and millions of hard working people who will never be anything but poor, the world, despite what people say, can't support everyone being well off, but that does NOT define quality of workmanship, satisfaction of job, nor happiness..
@@andrewlabat9963 Less than 2% of the worlds population controls the majority of wealth - greeed is not a good thing.
These people HAVE to work hard. there is no other option for them. They work hard and they will still likely always be poor.
Poverty is a state of mind....you can have a billion $ and still be poor.

The manual measurements are great skills especially the machining and skimming of the cylinder head. All computerised in the Western world today. Good mechanic this guy is.
Well said, Yoda.
How is it computerised in the West? You might have an NC on the mill but that's it
@@TheBlaert I meant through the use of digitally set machines rather than use of feeler gauges.
@@simplelifesimplicity8911 yeah get what you mean.

I am only one quarter machanic, but before starting to work on it , I would wash it first, really good.
@Dwayne501 Pakistan is a different country. :P
You have the privilege to do that without thinking about wasting water, so be humble about it
@@theeoddments960 you dont have to use water to clean automotive parts you can buy a hot tank and fill it with eha basically caustic alkaline and it'll eat all the crap off the head.
Congratulations! Here in Brazil, it is forbidden for children under 14 to work and that must be why we have many criminals.
Looks like several are grade school kids and learning a good skill. looks like better equipped cleaner shop than others I have seen. Job well done men big thumbs up.

@@transientmatter6088 I work at Texas speed and performance dog in Georgetown Texas off airport road well technically it’s on velocity drive but I get there through airport road lol.
For a second I didn’t realize it was sped up. I’ve seen so many of these skilled craftsman videos where they’re so dialed in that they work work at warp speed and I passed it off as totally normal 😂
It is sped up. Listen to the voices at 0:47. I didnt know Alvin the chipmunk was real
They sound like minions
I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER VALVE JOB . EXCELLENT
Next door there is a brain surgeon performing neurosurgery but using just a hammer and dynamite....
Coincidentally, the patient is also wrapped in plastic at the end...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah was just going to say that
It’s very good to see a craftsman that respects his equipment by keeping it clean and your area as well
You did a very good job
I admire this persons hard-work and resourcefulness with the tools he has on hand.
when you realize he doesn't have an Air compressor.
But i am concerned for him and his kids covering their skin in the engine cleaning solvents
How do you think it was done in your grandfather's day?
What’s that blowing the dirt? Don’t need 140 psi to clean something off. This is also being shown at 2x’s the speed
I will like even before watching as I know that I will be intrigued by the innovations in accomplishing what is needed to make a living and your taking pride in your work. I appreciate this sharing of people doing their best.
Eye s ear protection needed😊
Them kids probably do them rebuilts all day everyday..👍
I am not a professional mechanic, but do have decades of experience. It looks like these guys broke about every natural law of basic auto repairs imaginable. Some broken numerous times. For starters, using a steel brush at high revolutions to clean intake and exhaust valves along with the mating surface. Just a dang shame. They are probably thinking, "Oh, but hey! Look how clean it is"!😂
Still, it is fun to watch. 😊
Thats what I was thinking???
you should watch the video again
here we go
I like it when the kids are right there working and learning.
This is what i like to see. A good clean up of any engine part under the limited resources still im Happy, 😊
Great Work!! Looks so easy but so many intricate parts and measurements 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Good job with simple tools. Thanks for sharing.
First time reading comments from normal people, I learned engines from doing this as a kid 50 years ago!
Ahhh, disassembling cylinder heads using only a hammer and a hollow tube of sorts. This is the old school of old school here! I never get tired of watching people in a third world country repairing and manufacturing any auto part they need.
Wonderful working spirit and harmony. Great job guys.
Those long bristle drill brushed work beautifully. Never thought to give them a try but now will get more than a few different ones. Really respect for the work you guys do with basic tools. People don’t realize how good they have it with the new high tech and tool design. Great work. Keep up
I’m impressed by his screwdriver skills.
I can smell the ozone off that drill through my phone. Looks like a new extension cord was added for the cord too
If my mechanic did that to my cylinder head I think I would be in prison

Love how some comments being hard on their work, these guys dont trow away a motor just because its has a noisy bearing and replace it with chinesse one so they can complain about chinesse stuff being crap while traying to save a buck.
This is "Chinese" quality work for sure.
That’s how they do it in my coastal town revive the dead marine engines lo…so epic these peoples are😊

Children MUST NOT WORK, and only in culturally backward countries can this happen.
Oh, so the proper way is to jam sharp screwdrivers in the ports and scrape around and scratch everything up. I've been doing it wrong all these years, doh.

Nice! Long sleeves and fast rotating brush with no protection - very safe!
Why would you face the head then lever against a nice clean finish to remove the valve seats ? Surely you would do all this work first ?

Excellent videos ! 👍
Mis respetos muy buen trabajo
I loved this video. Can anyone tell me the point of indenting those valve seats?
It is to mushroom the side so that it grips the cylinder head casting better. This is a VERY poor way of doing it. You are supposed to heat the head, then freeze the seats to shrink them down so they are a press fit. As they expand they become captive in their places.
Notice how at 24:13 the last strike takes a fat chip out of that seat? That's why it's a bad idea.
I wonder how long theses engines run with out proper machining. probably not very long.
👍👍👍syabas good.
