I hate to correct you, and I know this is six months old, but Purse (the default character) is actually a rat.
22:50 the cap actually is -1 energy for 4 mana, visual bug that’s why you only got 2 energy.
Unfortunately the wizards cap seems to be a typo. In the past it has always been LOSE one energy, and that probably got mixed up somewhere in the translation updates.
Yea, lose an energy that wand builds don't really use to gain mana regen. Trade 1 energy for 4 mana, a better trade than using a book.

Yeah, I was about to say that the cap was way more broken than I remembered. 1 energy and 4 mana per turn with no real downside would be broken

I tried a full spikes/armor build once (was getting roughly 50 spikes per turn) and it seemed like the game accounted for that and gave me a different boss which just summoned/healed/cursed/poisoned instead of directly attacking me. I couldn't kill them since my damage was entirely spikes so I lost.
A plant item that grows if you use a water flask on it would be interesting

@@huang111 It could also be that they were intending it to be +1 energy but they forgot to change it in the code. I could see that balancing the new disabled changes and making it more of a Legendary item.
I love how this build can use both the pacifist ring and the berserker ring.

There’s a couple bugs in the update. Many items say they do a thing they don’t or a missing parts of their description (wizards cap is meant to say it adds -1 energy) this is a side effect of the new translation system. Also sliding rune is an item meant to be only for an unreleased character and putting it in your backpack will break a lot of things.

@@kirillsniff9133 The issue with slide rune is it will push an item out of existence from your backpack. Could maybe be good to void out some curses though?
@@michaelwatkins4155 what did that look like? does it just poof away permanently or is it like unusable but visually out of your bag? do effects still apply? could you have like infinity space with it?
@@kirillsniff9133 I don't know personally, pretty sure it just voids it out of existence though. Sidf showed it on his video 2 days ago or so as a "This is bugged, so probably don't use it guys" type of thing.

a space above the helmet doesnt have to be empty and therefore that never worked and still doesnt
@@KCzz15 The new helmet rework makes it have to be in the top row, not have no space above it. It was changed with the update.

The Sliding Rune seem to be a buggy aftereffect of the new character being coded in. If you take it, your sprite is going to change to the new character sorting animation for a few seconds.
Omg it was killing me that you kept passing up the energy wands! Lol +7 energy per turn is a ton of damage.
Wow your luck this run was insane! I guess that's what you get for running a build where lucky rings are necessary. 2 duct tapes was hype!
Vampire survivors had gotten some pretty huge updates, at least in the beta, so you should do a video or a few on that soon
The Dev has said that ether Sunday or Monday they're going to release a new charecter, so I'm looking forward to that update.
The game has been a lot of fun.

Imagine guarding a door with your 2 friends, only for a rat to appear out of the darkness and draw 4 bladed gloves with brass knuckles on you

25:35 the sliding rune is actually something from the later update. Never pick it up and use it because it slides all your items into the abyss and destroys it. Another thing is you can pick it up and throw it out and some yellow arrows will appear, you can clik the yellow arrows to get a sneak peek of the new character which is a bird-like creature
I did the math on the last fight. Damage was 26 from scratch (3 base + 1 knuckles + 2 x 11 rings) and 41 per glove (2 base + 39 rage). With four gloves that's 190 total, or 4180 cap with 22 energy. Scratch interestingly does not get bonus damage from rage. Cool run!

The multiplying rage+claws interaction really carried him. I can't imagine this build works without Spice. Without any rage he's only doing 30ish damage, which is good but I don't think is enough to win.
Maybe giving up Berserker's Ring and using armor? Or structures, which he actually had for a while. (I was a little disappointed he never even looked at the Roof.)

25:50 the sliding rune appears to be for another character, and it is ENTIRELY bugged; attempting to use it can glitch out your inventory and prevent you from being able to move any of your items. Stay away from it.

Fun fact, the Teddybear sword isn't a weapon. It's an accessory only, and the pacifist ring won't break if you use it.
i think wizards hat is a typo because before the update it was -1 energy every turn, so I think it just got messed up when they redid helmets

I can confirm the usefulness of multiple hats. I went into one of my hardest course exams in undergrad wearing a stack of 7 hats. Got a perfect score on all three parts of it.

i got an OP Archer build!
So, here are the main factors to my broken build
- I got a manastone bow, witch alows me to pickup some of the mana items
- Not long from the start, i got ring of doom. Because all arows are comsidered wepons, i picked it
- i've got some healing in backround by bandages, along with a big heart ring, witch allows me to go "naked"
- it looked like this:

BMA
along with other items, where B is for manstone bow, M are manastones, R is the ring of doom and A are the arrows
Along with other items, and the stopwatch relic, it got broken fast

They should add a spider or milipede character that can wear multiple pieces of footwear and synergizes with them

This game should add a mechanic where you get holes in your backpack (which takes away blocks) and then you have to sew it or go to a tailor to get the blocks back

@@swordzanderson5352 Tyler doesn't try to do such optimal runs, he usually goes for what is most fun. Doing that doesn't sound like fun
@@jorgec98 Subjective, honestly. I highly doubt the man that can repeat almost 10 times the word 'synergy' in under a minute wouldn't at least like to try that out if he knew. It may not be his common strategy, sure, since he is also in for the dopamine given by luck and chance, but I'd bet he'd like to do so once in a while to see how bonkers things can get.

23:10 This update has a TON of translation errors that make item descriptions outright lie to you. That helmet does exactly what it's always done; which is MINUS one energy, not PLUS.
One time I accidentally traded my only weapon for an item of the same rarity, u had to scratch my way through a boss lol
