These will never happen. Do the math.
Payloads seem low, and those huge batteries will always need fast recharging (not best for longevity), I expect the national grid load will not cope. The expected range will be interesting based on overly optimistic car ranges, but a fully loaded truck hauling refrigerated goods!? A typical freight depot might also prudently look at expanding the parking area to minimise total fleet loss risk if a charging fire occurs. I can only see this technology driving up freight costs and so cost of goods.
I guess after 32 years of trucking...And uogtading to brand new truck every 4 years.... I still need to buy a regular truck 2023. Since I can NOT afford to deliver medecine shipments in 4 fays from Utah to San Diego, just because going too slow and too much time waste it recharging... plus they are all missing the point.. We need refrigerator, table, bed, microwave, toilet and showers..... That's the real driver comfort we are all looking for... 😢

searching for coal hauling electric Dump truck in south borneo, Indonesia, for 30 kilometers haul road with chipseal pavement, max grade 5%, max speed 60 kilometer per hour, payload 30-40 ton. i wish i could choose one of the above.

This is outdated info. Volvo trucks now have a range of up to 275 miles on a single charge

Volvo is the only one with already production both in USA and Europe for HD BEV Trucks. Others are still to launch (Freighliner/Damler, Scania) and Nikola/Tesla are mostly new players/bets. For hydrogen, infra structure is not yet there
They will need to build hydrogen fuel stations all over the planet

Gas and Diesel fuel much more better and safer. Batteries are known to blow up and acid leaks eating every thing up around it. Acid blows up on a people add animals will cause severe pain and even death.

Self driving trucks are more needed ASAP.
Why? Self driving cars killing people. Why would you want something 20 times heavier?
Oh really, what will happen if the system glitches and causes an accident, then what? It should be the driver controlling the truck, not a computer.
How hard to power plants have to increase out-put to keep this junk on the road. The EV large trucks has proven to be an out right lie. The EV trucks cannot even haul a payload, in turn the cargo hauled is the batteries just to keep the vehicle going. 250 to 400 estimated miles per day doesn't even begin to match the potential of a 70 mph truck travelling for 11 hours. One OTR driver can operate legally for a total of 770 miles per day within the legal guide lines. The EV is a pipe dream for star trek fans. In effect: GET STUFFED.
