I would have loved it when I was 13. you have to conpare it to the ballet world. It is so hard that when you are 30 you will not have the stamina to keep up. That is why they have to start so early. Boys are usually strenger s bit longer. But they start early aswell.
nowadays people live longer, i feel like at this point being thirty is still youthful, like i look at groups like bts , exo or even older like super junior and None of these groups struggle to perform tough coreagraphies
Groups like BTS and Stray Kids will last forever because they make their own music. It is more difficult with the typical Idol group. And in Norway it is the young girls that are fan of the girl groups. Boys come back from military stronger. Girls that have babies do not. It is soo hard. So I think many girls do not want to keep on as long as the boys. It is many factors. What we really need to adress and protest against is the cancel culture. That the «fans» are dictating the behaviour of the Idols. That the company, the flower shops and the police are allowing people to send funeralflowers to Idols. Make me so mad😡
K-pop is a place where the idols are seen as PERFECT leading to parasocial relationship's with fans where the fans think that they own the idols and are entitled to they're whole lives~~~ and i cant imagine what that would feel like too the idols They are not perfect they are human.
13 year old kpop idol? She's so young :( and honestly there should be only older teens abt 17 at least to young adults debuting but it's industry never changes, it's messed up how many trainnees are robbed of their childhood + puberty while being focused on public appearances and constant criticism they're easier to manipulate and control too, with little experience and not knowing what's waiting for them or the conditions they must meet to debut
I think back at how cringy I was at 13... I wonder if these young idols look back at themselves and realize all of their embarrassing puberty moments were recorded
@@NoWastedPotential how many you g people Are robbes of their childhood because they do not have a drean and fall into drugs and even worse. If they just go to school as «normal» they get the struggle later. Theese kids are liveinnspilling their dream. And the Korean companies are letting so many get a chance. In most other countries you have to live in the capital and/or have a rich family to get that opportunity. At the Royal ballet school in England they start at 11, but only for the rich.
@@mettealvefoss4125 you're definitely too young to understand they might live their dream but the industry is abusive, harsh, will try to gain every profit of you, control you into numerous ways, long schedules. It's easier to control younger people because they don't have much experience in the world unlike grown people who can still achieve the dream it doesn't matter what age you'lll become succesful. Younger teens should have their time to experience more life outside of training, school and learn how to live life before they can decide if they want to be in the industry. it's no glitz and glamour, with emphasis on fame there's a lot of things you come across that will shock you. I'm not saying children shouldn't wish to become famous, but they definitely aren't aware of how they'll be treated and no guardians are really available like their parents or responsible adults that try to guide them, you really think employees of companies act like they're all guardians that you can trust? Not to mention their diets and are forced to be a certain weight otherwise they're even more undesirable for debut and nepotism in the industry is relevant too. And most newer groups won't get as famous unless you're in like really popular agencies. becoming famous has its' price
There’s a video where her BABY TOOTH fell out 😭😭. If that doesn’t tell you that she’s too young to be put into such a TERRIBLE industry, idk what will. I blame parents and All the adults
it's so easy to criticize from the outside as if these artists would be better off doing what? waiting until they get older to try out? Opportunities in life, especially in the entertainment industry are fleeting. There is no such thing as "underage" for performing artists. Why should there be? Are child actors too young to act? Obviously not. The "problems" are in the mind of the observer, and those that would take advantage of minors. That is the issue, not the age of the artist. And those issues still exist with "of age" artists as well so it's really society that has issues. In the 1950's Leslie Gore was 16, In 2000 Britney Spears was 16. Some are ready, some aren't. Look at Natty, she was 14 and not ready for Twice, either was Somi. But Somi was perfect for IOI at 15. Where would she be now if it wasn't for that opportunity? I thought Crayon Pop looked like little kids, and I wouldn't even watch them. Then I learned they were all in their 20's and I was like wtf? and became a huge fan. Seo Won is an amazing singer, and she is only 13. Age has nothing to do with talent. Seo Won deserves to be where she is. Nadia Comaneci was only 14 when she stunned the world with her gymnastics. Should she have waited another 4 years? Time is not always kind to talent, especially when your talent is physically demanding. Life doesn't wait for you. Artists are like butterflies, when they are ready to emerge from their cocoon they have to take flight while they can cuz it ain't going to last forever.
Let me guess ... You don't have any issues with the sex, drug, volence, etc. in American music, right? There is nothing to criticize in Western music, right?
Lol nah the American music industry is no saint. I went into some comparison between the western entertainment industry and the Kpop industry in the later part of the video
Dude alot of people are criticizing western industry with it's pdfile subject and all of the subjects you are mentioning. Just because the western does it. We should follow
And then when the companys debut idols that arent miors the fandom will call them "old" An ongoing issue especially with girlgroups
Ya calling 18-year-olds "old" is pretty crazy

Good point. Looks like the requirement for stamina is another reason Kpop companies opt for younger trainees/idols too.
yeah but we are talking about fame here, adults can barely handle it, why do we expect child to handle it well

Ya that public expectation sounds like quite a lot of pressure for the idols
How does bro have so few subscribers 😭 I had to subscribe cause the video quality is too good to have so few subs
Haha this made my day. Thank you brother

Ya I think it's important for wise and responsible parents to get involved here. I'm not sure if that always happens though.

very cool dive into the K-pop world Louis. What is that remote you're holding?
It controls the slides on my teleprompter
@@TheLouisZhao ah~ you got a teleprompter! makes sense. which one did you get?
@@PaulYuNow Oh just a generic one I got from Amazon. It clips onto my ipad and uses it for prompts.
I'm a hater. I hate how I only got to know that Seohyun is actually the same age as me. When GG debuted, I was still young, dumb and broke. 😂

@@TheLouisZhao I feel you man. Keep up the good work! This might not be much but at least you have a new subscriber in me today. 😁
Yo appreciate it brother!
Remember that they use a lot of time on many that not is good enough to debute
Ya the trainee system is quite competitive. Many get eliminated and never get to debut.
You could start a girl group consisting of 50+ old girls.
Lol and we can call the group "OldJeans"
Idols dating for the next topic 😅😊
