This is why men especially stupid men need to stop obsessing fantasizing and thinking a relationship with a woman is a big deal when it's not and never was and never will be. friendship exists pets exist. Humans don't need romance when it's just a simple connection with a friend we need at the end of the day we need to start pushing friendships and healthy boundaries to men these days.
True words! Usually if you dislike someone's style and love interests, you simply aren't a fan or stop being a fan. It's still petty, but at least you're not making it someone else's problem.
Its redditors and 4channers because nobody want them, so they think and imagine they have a chance with a celebrity, but lose hope when they get in a relationship with somebody else.
@pepedust782a case where this happened that bothers me is with karina from aespa. people (mainly korean netizens) ended up pressuring her into releasing an apology. she literally posted a handwritten apology note on instagram. it was honestly heartbreaking seeIng her have to apologize for being in love. it’s also bizarre that they even get hate, do their fans think that they would be able to date them? like, sorry bill, you were never gonna be able to date an a list celebrity. i mean, i’m a big kpop fan (i really only stan girl groups and girl group communities are pretty chill, but a lot of male girl group fans (not all of them of course!) are kinda crazy. i’m a lesbian and i am definitely attracted to a lot of female idols and joke around that they’re my gf/wife, but i understand that i’d never actually be able to date them. but there are a lot of people who are deluded enough to think they actually could.
As a One Direction fan, this is literally just Larry Stylinson believers. (Larry is a ship between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson in One Direction, the ship started in 2010 and ppl are still completely dedicated to it to this day, even as grown adults) They act like Louis' child isn't real/ or "management" forced him to have a child with his wife Elanor. There are also theories that claim that Elanor is a role played by many different people. Everyone Harry Styles tries to date, larries attack the person he's dating online, and if the person he's dating ends up breaking up with him, they take to the internet to f*cking CELEBRATE that they broke up. Larries are just fully denying that Louis and Harry are most likely straight, even though Louis has stated it many times.. (idk about harry though. he says he prefers not to label his sexuality, but has also said that being a woman isn't exactly a very important trait in someone he dates. However, he has only ever publicly dated women.) Side note, the Larries are SO POPULAR in the fandom that not only are they everywhere, a larry smut fanfic segment also appeared on a Euphoria episode in 2019.. overall they just kinda wild
Also, getting into an argument with a larrie is the most draining thing ever, because they just repeat and repeat and repeat information that you've already debunked, eventually tiring you out and giving up with the worthless ahh argument 😭🙏
@caitlynsult2685 that's a generalisation, pay attention to the disclaimer that he is only talking about the toxic fans, I PROMISE you that the good part of the kpop fandom is the best
I agree with the three of you. These people need to be ashamed of themselves. If you deny someone happiness out of selfishness, you are too emotionally abusive to be with ANYBODY. You really have a lot of maturing to do.
It's disgusting that sick fans who think they own the idols just to maintain that fantasy of if their favorite idol is single they still have a chance with her.
the reason why they acted so entitle to their idols cuz they thought they spend a lot of money, times and other things as well for their idols but mostly money for example i'd say like us inter fans we only bought one album or two but for them kfans they bought like lots of them up to hundreds or something so they can win in music show and other places, also even to make effort for their idols so they can be well known such as giving out albums on the streets. so when their idols caught dating someone these fans they feel betrayed its like "i put so much love in this particular idol but they dont they love someone else more than me". which is u know very toxic way of thinking i hated this too😢
@@venus9820It's a fundamental problem, in their eyes these idols are the only thing that comfort them even beyond anything, and push anything that isn't related to them as nothing, like the idol could just say as a joke they like a particular style of fashion, those toxis fans are gonna do their best to get that style of fashion even if it cost 10.000 dollar they will get it, money for money, dept for dept, just to feel notice. It's something that tend to happened when someone gets lonely and has no one to talk, relly show how some people get so lonely and Delusional to point of being obsession with their idol
We have in our society no Community or tribe anymore. So these sorts of virtual communities become the only thing people have. Quite frankly, these are parasocial clubs that people often pay to be in, and the idea is that they are in the room with you and sharing your experience. Frankly, I am surprised there are not more Fanatics that take it too far
My question is WHY is the acceptable in korean society? I would have taken a bat to those billboards because that is just so pathetic and over the top. Do they really have NOTHING better to do?
For like I have talked to like a few times and most of them weren’t like this like I get having a crush on one of them but straight up making your self think that you are going to date them is crazy ❤❤❤
They need to change the fan culture, its creepy to enforce celebs to break up for their entitlement. The fans don't even see them as human, just someone as someone to control.
i think its reasonable to assume you know Oshi no Ko, which illustrates the dark side of the entertainment industry. I'm not trying to say that the fans are correct, but its a consequence if you decide to be part of the industry
@@staringcorgi6475 We can change what is and isnt normalized, there are other societies that have the ability to remain civilized, to each their own interpretation.
@@TJ-xp6hd I wouldn't victim-blame and say "thats what they get for being in that field," when people become "famous" or known they are more prone to the masses being aware of them. But yes, I get what youre saying, just bc you get used to something, doesnt mean you should tolerate it. Thank you for your input.
The fans who participate in the extremely toxic K-Pop culture should be ashamed of themselves!!! Wtf is wrong with them?! Weight shaming _anyone_ is horrible, but doing that to a 15yo is absolutely inexcusable!
Some people just relly is that bad, and with the internet being something everyone can accest there will always be people who will hate you just because you exist. So it's better to ignore them and maybe take some time off the internet, and try out something new and maybe it will be a new hobby. it work for me and now i play badminton with my friend when 4 years ago i couldnt doit
I recently got in to aespa, but this is ridiculous. Why should Karina not be allowed to date? Just for my fantasy? No! She can date, she deserves to be happy. I like their music, sure they're pretty, i enjoy their mv's and songs, thats it. I feel very sad for Karina and that boy.
I support her too, but I swear I heard that the guy was already in a relationship and that was a part of the outrage. was that a nasty rumor only? I just haven't heard that in this video or in the comment section and now I'm wondering if it was just saesangs being saesangs??
I remember seeing a lot of people thinking (more so wishing lol) that Karina was gay, so I wonder if that added to the hate that lead to the apology. Either way, there’s no reason why she should’ve had to apologize smfh
People nowadays look at the looks instead of the true self of others Their personality.. which I'm sad they only care about the looks instead of the good true side of that person.
because people are mentally ill and delusional, convincing themselves that they are the "special exception" and "I can fix him". sorry to tell you that you arent special, you cant fix him and he will k word you the same as everyone before you.
A baby and a mother was killed for no reason other than he was recklessly speeding. These psycho "fans" wanted him free? Like what if it was their mother and sister? Would they feel the same way about their killer? I think not... But sadly these people exist. 😢 Prayers for that family who lost their loved ones. 🙏
I usually avoid it to. The only community I joined that wasn't toxic that bad was horror movies stuff. Tho you got some people who tried to share real stuff them people need to be on a watch list.
There is a sad story of a singer who had a nice fan community, but one person was so crazy for her that when he went to her concert, he shot her and then later himself. Fans can be so insane
I've heard about that one, it happened in my homestate, Florida, the singers' name is Christina Grimmie, she was signing autographs backstage during the Plaza Live in Orlando, the shot was near fatal so she was pronounced dead when the cops arrived, the murders' name is Kevin Loibl, unfortunately to the dismay of the family and public, his motives were never identified, it's one thing killing someone, but killing someone, then yourself for possibly no reason, is insane and cowardly, my heart goes out to her, her family, friends and fans who had to go though their loss
To let everyone know, every single fanbase has a toxic side, and it may not always represent as that certain fanbase as a whole. My only advice here is that it's okay to like a certain piece of media or a celebrity, but ALSO stay away from engaging in that toxic side so that it won't affect you and your point of view of that piece of media/celebrity or its fandom as a whole.
Yeah, that is a very good fact right there. Even innocent things like My Little Pony have their "insane" fans. I don't use social platforms as it is, so I don't really engage with anyone in a fandom related forum, but I've seen Visual's vids and it brought that to my attention. I do wonder why someone would start a "fanbase" for things like mass murderers, though...I mean, it's one thing to write dark stories about these things and have your own characters, but why would you basically put a murderer on a pedistal and hope they get out of prison, despite what they did? That "cute" guy may look that way on the outside but you gotta realize that the inside isn't gonna be as much so - he's done bad stuff. He's twisted by a person who said it was (whatever) to commit crimes! Basically he's Darth Vader, and while there's a chance of him turning and finding some real help, he's in reality not someone you should be praising and wanting to hang out with - especially if he comes after you for his next criminal act.
Very true. That's the reason why I, for example, stay away from most Minecraft-related social media, while still watching people building orbital waterguns in the Nether and redstone computers
The real issue with that is the “toxic side” of fandoms have become near ubiquitous. They scream the loudest, control discussion online, shake and dehumanize people who think/feel differently, gatekeep, etc… And thanks to negative emotions being so addictive, it’s legit hard to find communities of areas that aren’t filled with vitriol at some point. And even moderating your online presence may not be enough.
Everyone loves saying every fandom has a toxic side, which is true, but not all fandoms breed them the same. K-pop fans love to say this, oh it's a small minority and oh every fandom has it. But the very idea of k-pop breeds the toxicity. It exists for toxicity and will continue to earn money because of the toxicity. Toxic is normal in k-pop. Not a rarity.
Idk I’ve heard somewhere that the K-pop dating ban has been lifted and idols are allowed to date and many of them are probably dating already but in secret to keep sasaeng fans from invading their love lives and their privacy overall
Sometimes when they first debut they can't date and have a 3 year rule where if you stay in your group for 3 years + you can date but I want my idols to be happy so they should be able to date whenever they want and whoever they want.
“You ruined your own career and betrayed your fans” says the fan who probably does not have career. Since when did she promise you anything? Omg thank you for 1k likes, I have never gotten this many.
10:42 I'll be damned. Lmao. Those aren't fans, those are stalkers. So messed up. I like K-Pop, but the fandoms are insane. "WAS THE LOVE OF YOUR FANS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU" is wild.
Exactly. If she had wanted to date any of the fans who were saying this stuff, not a single one of them would've declined dating her just to keep the rest of the fanbase happy. All of them are mindless hypocrites. It's infuriating.
I will never understand why people are supporting criminals who have done heinous acts just because 'tHeY LoOk CuTe ThO' like girl, life aint sunshines and rainbows. If you were the victims, you'll definitely not say that. If the criminals were ugly, this conversation wouldve never started.
@@CylenxswizinSimHe killed 2 innocents....i don't think you should defend that even if it was an accident. Beside why would he races on a public road? and breaking the speed limit?? He's a teenage at the time but he should have known better.
@@kutakachickyexactly and let alone the fact there were no skid marks which means that he didnt even try to stop the car and now we have people defending him simply because he’s “attractive”
@@CylenxswizinSim Seriously? Do you really mean what you just said? Dude, you're the perfect example of why opinions can be wrong. He killed 2 completely innocent people through extremely reckless behavior which would've been illegal even if he hadn't killed anyone. The fact that predators may get less time than he did would be a different discussion worth talking about. Taking that as an argument though, to say he got too much time instead of advocating for predators getting more, makes it clear that there's something seriously wrong with your way of thinking.
@@CylenxswizinSim First of all, he wasn't a teenager. He was 18. Yes, the mind is still developing at that age but when you're 18 years old, you're developed enough that you will know that what you're doing is wrong when you do it or plan to do something. Even without the killing of 2 people he was driving 102 mph in a 45 mph zone. I don't know how it works in the US but where I'm from you get your drivers license revoked for life for that shit. Second of all: "we've all done stupid things". How dare you compare killing 2 innocent people, one of which a toddler mind you, to the average person. What the fuck is wrong with you. 3rd: "24 years is too much when we have actual criminals". So that dude wasn't a criminal? At this point I don't believe you're serious anymore. You just can't be. Lastly: "accidents are still accidents" You don't just kill 2 people on accident. Something like that doesn't just happen out of nowhere. Otherwise this stuff would happen all the time to all kinds of people. Driving over the twice the speed limit was a conscious and intentional choice. This doesn't mean he intentionally ran them over. But, I repeat, his EXTREMELY reckless behaviour led to it.
It’s terrifying to know that these people have this mine set with being attractive to literal psychopaths. Reminds me back in 2014 when Chris Brown beat Rhianna. I kid you not, the girl group I was in at my church was defending Chris Brown when I was sharing my opinion about the then situation. One of the girls who stood up for Brown, her mom was in charge of that group. What goes on your mind if you’re going to stick with an abusive man?
There's a reason some people think that women secretly fantasize about being in abusive relationships. A murderer will abuse you, that's all you need to know, you could even become their next victim. And to be honest even Masochists, major ones, would have trouble being with a major abuser.
Some people are honestly just irredeemable, ESPECIALLY for famous people. I’m willing to bet that somewhere out there, there’s someone willing to stick up for R Kelly.
@@abaddon1503 plenty of people willing to stick up for people walking around with their d1ks out in front of children at pride parades so no surprise there.
As much as i do not like Kpop. You still have to respect them for what they go through. I'd say it is a literal living hell just to have a very little chance to succeed. Even if they did. Their lives would no longer be at their hands. Which is really tragic.
I would say, that the industry that dictates terms like "you need to sacrifice your love life for fans, so you can do what you love" or "watch your weight and take drastic diets for same reason" is toxic in first place; no wonder it attracts toxic reaction from fans. When I listen to these stories, my impression is, its about "control, power" and "how far can we push people to do what we say, before they brake or leave". Sadly.
Thats true, But there always a rare case where the fandom is just straight up ruin everything. MHA fan is a prime example, they ship deku with a minor character even sending death threat for not making bakugo and deku gay. And JJK fan gone absolutely Lobotomy when gojo die. I could go on and rant about but all im gonna say is, Keep yourself safe and take a break from the internet once in awhile it will help.
@@panjinurfadillah2489pokemon fandom is similar to mha, I remember how they sent death threats to anyone who didn't agree that ash x Serena ship is canon or how Bea and korrina are canon couple
As a kpop fan for many years and a my ever since debut, I can confirm that the kpop community is just TOXIC. Especially Karina, apologizing just because shes dating jaewook. Mostly those Winrina shippers, they just cannot handle the fact that all the aespa members are not just into girls, but they can be into guys too. I’m glad that the dating thing is all over but the community stills stays toxic.
And about the weight of kpop idols, I can agree that it’s the biggest deal when it comes to their beauty, Like Giselle aespa (Aeri uchinaga) She has a healthy body for her age but she keeps getting criticized for her weight and her looks. She is a very pretty women and her weight is just fine. Although she isn’t as slim as her other members she is still beautiful.
I have long since detached myself from fandoms and communities after seeing how much of a mess a large number of people are. They barely ever get criticized for it either.
As a true crime fan, it's never seases to horrify me when there's a killer fandom. The worst part of it being the fact that there have been many cases of people becoming murderers just because they idolised a monster. It's just sick
I got I be into K-pop a couple months ago and I have never seen such insane people!!! A guy named Seunghan was kicked out of his group RIIZE for having a gf and smoking cigarettes before he debuted due to fans outrage he trained for 2 and a half years
He technically wasn't kicked out of the group, just put on indefinite hiatus, and it was largely due to backlash from the Kfans. I-fans were and are really supportive of him, and ifans tend to be less crazy over dating rumours.
But humanity too can be great, Awesome even, You just gotta ignored the bad and focus on the good. Yes its easier said than done with how many drama the world have, but its the only way to stay positive in a not so perfect world
It honestly sucks because I would want to be in one that isn't rude, toxic or weird, and where no one is pressured into being single because some few losers said so, or shipping characters that have nothing to do with each other and i do believe there are the rare sane fandoms out there, if people made an effort to take a good look at themselves and address the issues they have and not base their entire lives on the character or person, and realize that famous celebrities are still normal people and their favorite characters aren't what they've made them out to be, they wouldn't be not be creepy, unethical or obsessed about their piece of media, and a significantly less number of fandoms could be cured of this disgusting plague of a few bad apples ruining themselves and the celebrities' lives or the piece of media they love so much
Never idolize you can like or admire but if becomes so into something it like being addict 😮 the best thing do is like something but if don’t like something else they do that’s fine most people don’t make or do good stuff every time
it's crazy to me how some kpop fans go friggen crazy about the weight of idols, but some of them don't even live a healthy lifestyle and they themselves don't even fit the beauty standards that they demand idols to have. we're living in a society where people like to point fingers when they should actually be looking at themselves.
I mean, yeah. The people who have the mindset of "She shouldn't be dating, because I want a chance with her" are basement dwellers and neckbeards. Like, broski, even if the Idol's desperate and no one else are willing to date them, they'd stay single over getting with a K Pop stan. Especially considering K Pop stans are very vocal about things and the Idols definitely see the shit they post on social media. Sure, they don't speak good English, but considering most, if not all, Koreans can read and understand English, there's no way Idols don't know what's going on in their community
With the Yuka Takaoka case. Phoenix was not even dating her. She was paying him for the attention because, he was a host and that was his job. Yuka knew this because she was in the same industry.
Girly was literally stalking him to everything about and bought him for a night after confronting him she would later attempt to kill him I forgot with what. She didn't kill him completely she wanted him to die slowly and painful and after he died she wanted to take her life afterwards. Fortunately Phoenix did survive.
FINALLY! I’ve always hoped this channel would mention the Kpop fandom, because while casual fans just want to enjoy the music and find some of the content fun, the parasocial fans think that they know and own the performers in question, and they kind of ruin the experience for casual fans. I really don’t tell people except close family that I listen to K-pop, mainly because of the scary side of the fanbase, but as a casual fan you also don’t want to set off the parasocial fans because they’ll dox casual fans for saying things as light as “oh I don’t like [insert new song here] that much.” or “yeah [insert group here] really isn’t the kind of group I’d be into.” It’s wild, but unfortunately most of the singers companies actually promote this kind of thing to keep the money coming.
Not at all surprised by this reaction towards Cameron. You had this type of behavior towards Manson, Dahmer, Ramirez, Bundy, the Columbine kids, etc. People are twisted and need to get their priorities in order.
As being a devoted BTS fan for 8 years now, this is why we have to constantly remind some fans that they aren't BTS's parents or anyone. Just do your duty as a fan in streaming and voting. The thing is that fans forget that their idols are humans and they don't owe you anything. I'm very defensive when it comes to hate towards them because their music, philosophical lyrics had prevented me from taking my own life years ago.
you can't entirely blame fans companies are the main reason they target these kinds of people because it's easy to satisfy people with no brain but of course everything comes with a price i was a bts fan too but i have noticed how they start targeting s*x deprived people lol
I wouldn't be surprised if FNF was in heere. Harassers, bullies, assholes, people who take offense to negative opinions about a certain creator (*Cough* My Ex Friends *Cough*), Pedos, Groomers, all the big package. I was even a victim of this in a Modding Server for FNF..

bro pls hiphop fanbase is not as toxic as compared to kpop fanbase ya we do argue at comment sections but thats that we forget it after the beef gets over but kpop fanbase takes it to the next level such as stalking voilence etc
Loved the way you talk about things while making it detailed but not boring... After a while I was able to watch a full RUclips video because of my messed up attention span.
The fact that authorities do nothing to protect people like this must be pretty terrifying for them. It should be unacceptable to all of us that this is allowed to continue.
Been a KPop fan for 16 years now and it has definitely gotten worse, I mean the letter written in period blood and the attempted poisoning were bad but it has definitely gotten much worse
The topic of Stalkers is an extremely sensitive subject for me as I was kidnapped and technically "deleted" by my stalker ex when I was 19 years old... With that being said... After almost 15 years of talking to 1,000's of other DV victims, not a single one continued the activities that got said starlets attention... It's not that the police don't take them seriously it's just that with certain cases where the victim knowingly and willingly puts themselves in those situations, they the victims are pretty much tying the hands of law enforcement as any halfway decent lawyer can point to the victim not changing any of their routines against them... the moral of the story is don't put your business on the internet for attention because you're going to get the attention you asked for
Shouldnt the first incident be enough to be illegal though? If you need to fight an intruders or they're trespassing or chasing you, or threatening your life, that first time is enough, even if you don't move or block them or whatever. Also moving homes is extremely expensive and complicated and should not be the solution... Basically, why should the women change their routines to not be assaulted?? The assaultor is always at fault.
In the yuka takaoka case, the guy was a hostess and she became obsessed over him to the point that she would get money illegally or from working just to pay for him to spend time with her. She was so delusional of their "relationship" that she got jealous of him talking to other females who went to his job. They were never in a relationship. She was paying him to be her
In the real life yandere case he wasn't actually her bf she just turned obsessive after coming to his host club multiple times she even said that she's moving in with her "boyfriend" i watched the whole case please fix your mistakes
The fact that fans can’t stand that someone is happy so they stripe that happiness away from them. Like I may be Aroace and have emotional numbness and even I can feel how upsetting that can be, like these K-pop star’s are not dolls their people just like you and I so let them be human and have love sense their adults.
Why do people feel the need to judge what is right vs what should be based on their own standards? They need to stop forcing their beliefs on people that have the courage to show their own talents. When I'm using my talents, my brain mutes everything and everyone around me and I don't care who sees me. I love my lil critters and I'll chase them to the grossest places on earth so I can learn their behaviors
I find it crazy that literally the second video on sweet anita is "Does size matter?" Also I love the videos you're putting out. I find them so entertaining to watch and I hope you don't stop posting.
As a kpop fan, I’d like to state a few things for people who are unfamiliar with how our fandoms work, so yes the kpop industry is very toxic, im sure most of us know that, personally im not really involved in the the drama that goes on, and I mostly just like it cause of the music but Ill give you some insight: the parasocial relationships that fans form with idols have been insanely normalized and most fans don’t even realize how obsessed they are with these artists, however… we can’t solely blame THEM for this, kpop companies highly encourage this behaviour.. why? profit. They make fans feel like the idols only have eyes for them and basically like they’re gonna be 60yo jumping up and down on stage and telling them how much they love them and want to protect them blah blah blah. Sometimes it’s not even just romantic parasocial relationships that they form but they literally consider that person/group THEIR FAMILY, they literally form cults and joke about it like it’s the most normal thing ever, and don’t even get me started on how defensive they get if you even so DARE to criticize their favs, I had a personal experience with this that I’ll give as an example: So, the group enhypen recently had a comeback, after listening to the album I went onto a certain community that I will not name, to give my opinion and discuss a very important issue that I had with it, mind you I SPECIFICALLY stated that I was not trying to criticize the members of the group, I said that I was dissatisfied with the album BECAUSE it felt like the other songs apart from the title track were very rushed + the issue that I had was that the members haven’t had a break in a very long time and I was just worried for their health. The amount of backlash that I got is something you wouldn’t even expect from the craziest Taylor swift stans. What’s even crazier is how fast they switch up, when I went on there the following morning, the same people that were threatening to dox me were giving me warm “good morning‘s” I honestly thought I was tweaking. Although I can say I also blame the idols themselves a little for the parasocial behaviour issue, sometimes the idols are straight forward and DONT feed into fans’ delusions. Other times, however, they completely encourage it, like I get “loving your fans” or what not for getting u to where you are but sometimes it goes too far and when they start “flirting” with their fans I feel like it just gets even weirder from a perspective of a normal person, like I said it’s gotten so normalized that the videos of “idols flirting with fans 😂😂❤ XO” get shared around on different social media platforms and the response is always the same.. “oh he’s so silly” “he was teasing her” “haha I’d pass out if he did that to me” … yeah I think u get what im pointing at.. also a former idol has revealed that once when she had to fill out a forum on “her ideal type” she was told not to actually put her ideal type and be as vague as possible so yeah.. Also another big issue is SHIPPING … like on one end there’s people who would go insane if they found out their favourite idol was dating and on the other end there’s the ones who would literally track u down if u said that their favourite ship “isnt real”… an example for one of these would be Minsung (a ship name for lee know(Minho) and Han jisung from stray kids) also one of the most popular ships in the entire kpop fandom, but trust me the “I love their FRIENDSHIP” people aren’t any better(insisting that they are friends and there’s no possibility of anything more) Please DO NOT take this as me defending shippers I do not support shipping anyone in ANY WAY unless it is confirmed by the parties involved themselves, what im trying to say is that shippers are just as bad as the fans that don’t let their idols date, and if there are any of them reading this: No, Lee know and Han aren’t getting each other pregnant in the bathroom of a music show. Anyway I think im going a bit off track here.. another thing I’d like to talk about is the normalization of debuting minors and LITERAL CHILDREN in the industry. It’s a very big issue that even kpop fans have started to realize but also something I don’t think will change soon and might just get even worse, let me get something clear: being an artist/idol is a FULL TIME JOB, and it’s a very risky industry to step into when you’re just starting out, and a big part of it, as stated in the video, are visuals. There is a certain age limit until which someone can debut and an even lower one for they can become a trainee/start training, which is why many of them start VERY young even in their pre teen years, nowadays it’s normal to see a child of 12-14 years old debut, and being an active idol is unbelievably difficult and tiring, and even tho this issue has been talked about among fans I think people still don’t care enough for something to actually change. I’d like to be able to say that it’s “not all kpop fans” and “locals just don’t get it” and trust me there really are some normal ones (hi im one of them ig?) but it definitely is MOST. Anyway if you actually read through all of this, here’s a cake 🎂 cause damn you deserve it
The yandarea killer didn’t kill. She was arrested for attempted murderer. The victim also wasn’t her boyfriend, she was obsessed with a guy she thought was her boyfriend. The victim survived the attack and he’s very very famous in Japan.
Idol industry insanity is why I stopped eagerly following/listening to girl/boy groups as much as I used to as a teen and young adult. No matter how glamorous they look, I can’t help but feel bad for them. The mental and physical unhealthy standards is gross
I really don't understand why people can have a freaking action just because of an influencer who gets a lover. That's weird. Like everybody can love but they don't allow famous people to love an obvious person? Also, about the criminal fanbase, I think that most of the people who idolise too much on outlaw person just want to be famous, that's not love. Or maybe worse, some people may think that the crime which are made is meaning "strong" and the weird action have made just to show the strengh (this is the worst one that I can think because you know if that's really happened, it means that's an ideal and an ideal can spread).

Guys, just a little heads up, remember when it comes to stalkers, keep them as distant as possible. What I mean is, don't add possessive nouns like "my stalker," "his stalker," or "her stalker." Because it gives them a kick like "Dang right you/he/she is mine!"
Basically the fandom is divided by how people go about figuring out which Godzilla/kaiju is stronger, and no one agrees with each other, which basically just leads to tons of death threats from one party, the one person taking out their anger on other members of said party, which causes THAT party to not take too kindly to people of the adjacent party, which continues the cycle of ever-increasing toxicity. At this point, if you wanna make an opinion on something Godzilla related, prepare to have the reasoning and patience to defend it, because someone is going to get angry. And that’s not even mentioning the ridiculous amount of pedophilia, racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc. in the fandom. Granted, it’s a loud minority, just a really, REALLY loud minority, paired with a really quiet majority, and a lot of big content creators (especially the younger ones and the females) are starting to leave the fandom due to constant sexual harassment, or just flat-out discrimination against their race, religion, sexuality, etc. And all of this is at an all-time high, so let’s just say it’s not a good time to be a Godzilla fan. TLDR: It’s pretty bad over here. Like, really bad.
@@chelsicalhoun6266 Yeah, pretty much unfortunately. Just mix some fanboying (and by some I mean a metric f-ton) in there, and you basically get the picture. And it sucks that it’s only getting attention now.
It's crazy to think that in UK the police will arrest you without delay for stating an opinion online, but won't lift a finger if someone breaks into your home, attacks you publicly or moves to your backyard in order to kill you.
I get the fascination and maybe attraction with killers. Like how it is romantizised in fiction. But its a different thing when simping for the joker or a real life murderer. Doesn't matter how much worse the joker is, the thing is he isn't real, he didn't really harm real people so its all just fiction. But a real murderer is no human that deserves any apologizers. You can find him hot, but dont let pretty privilege make you blind from the horrific things he did.
Visual Venture, this video is spot on! You’ve done an excellent job highlighting the extreme behaviors and toxicity found in some of the internet's most passionate fandoms, both online and in the real world. Your analysis really brings to light how fans can sometimes cross the line, creating a negative and hostile environment. It's crucial that we have these conversations about fandom culture and how to promote healthier interactions. Thanks for shedding light on these critical issues-your video is a real eye-opener!
5:10 it’s terrifying just how many murder cases started with the future victim calling the police due to stalking. It’s actually insane. They’d rather wait until it’s a murder because it’s PROBABLY not a big deal so why bother with all that annoying paperwork. So many women have called the police for stalkers many, many times and then one day, they get killed/assaulted by that stalker.

True words! Usually if you dislike someone's style and love interests, you simply aren't a fan or stop being a fan. It's still petty, but at least you're not making it someone else's problem.
the people today annoys me
They never loved the idol in the first place, the fandoms probably dont see them as humans.
Its redditors and 4channers because nobody want them, so they think and imagine they have a chance with a celebrity, but lose hope when they get in a relationship with somebody else.

It’s crazy how people shame celebrities for only having a relationship with someone else.
they shame celebrities for having a normal life basically, which is sad

Yin and yang
Everyone loves saying every fandom has a toxic side, which is true, but not all fandoms breed them the same.
K-pop fans love to say this, oh it's a small minority and oh every fandom has it. But the very idea of k-pop breeds the toxicity. It exists for toxicity and will continue to earn money because of the toxicity.

There's a reason some people think that women secretly fantasize about being in abusive relationships. A murderer will abuse you, that's all you need to know, you could even become their next victim. And to be honest even Masochists, major ones, would have trouble being with a major abuser.

It’s crazy how these “fans” say they love their idols, yet treat them like objects and disregard their feelings… sad

Also another big issue is SHIPPING …
like on one end there’s people who would go insane if they found out their favourite idol was dating and on the other end there’s the ones who would literally track u down if u said that their favourite ship “isnt real”… an example for one of these would be Minsung (a ship name for lee know(Minho) and Han jisung from stray kids) also one of the most popular ships in the entire kpop fandom, but trust me the “I love their FRIENDSHIP” people aren’t any better(insisting that they are friends and there’s no possibility of anything more) Please DO NOT take this as me defending shippers I do not support shipping anyone in ANY WAY unless it is confirmed by the parties involved themselves, what im trying to say is that shippers are just as bad as the fans that don’t let their idols date, and if there are any of them reading this: No, Lee know and Han aren’t getting each other pregnant in the bathroom of a music show.
Anyway if you actually read through all of this, here’s a cake 🎂 cause damn you deserve it
People are disgusting for romanticizing/normalizing these things because of their good looks which just flat out disgusts me
Anita: “Help! A stalker broke into my house!”
Police: Yeaaaa that’s *not illegal*
Toxicity is the reason I completely abandoned any Star Wars fandom after TROS.

Maybe two of this word is what we can call to these people you mentioned.
Guys, just a little heads up, remember when it comes to stalkers, keep them as distant as possible. What I mean is, don't add possessive nouns like "my stalker," "his stalker," or "her stalker." Because it gives them a kick like "Dang right you/he/she is mine!"
Obsession over celebs meeds to be studied, like it's genuinely fascinating that people can get this delusional and obsessive.
I know it’s semi-recent, but I’d still be shocked if the Godzilla fandom isn’t mentioned.
Yeah, wdym?
What happened?

I'm confused how people say cameron is cute, look at his eyes popping out, the serial killer stare, how is that even cute.
To me it looks like fear and dread and i fricken love it
I get the fascination and maybe attraction with killers.
