So I am sharing what I've learn so far ^^

Hey man you shouldnt be using high pressure washers like that on any bike, you can damage bearings pretty quickly! just a light soak and scrub down is all you need. If you do use washers like this I would only point it at the frame (not the hub, bottom bracket, or any electronic components!)
Right, that made me cringe. I don't even do that with my motorcycles.
Yeah sorry I had no knowledge of this, I thought it would be like a motor bike. I am now cleaning it more carefully ;)
I used to do that with my motorbike, sorry for the cringe. I am now more nice when washing my bike and not in a high pressure place ;)

Great video mate! Here in Australiawe have the EU limits as well but fortunately you can buy the USA throttle through Ben Buckler boards in Sydney online! No pedaling and no limit!
So if you use the throttle will that allow you to go faster with the super 73?

Nope aucun mais il dort à la cave il n’est pas dans la rue la nuit. Perso si tu ne peux pas au moins le ranger durant la nuit je te le déconseille.

Hey maro, yep my S1 is the 500w limited in eu at 25 km/h but with a us display (with the throttle) I get the full power. In eu you can’t get the US version but you can get the off road pack that will let you have the unlimited mode just like in the US.
@@MattEpicAdventures Perfect! I was not sure, whether there is same engine as US, and it looks like YES. Just limiter manage EU regulation. I am interesting in new RX :)
Best choice ever and a real great product I was able to see it in person and try it briefly, I can’t wait for my RX !! Same as every super 73 the engine is the same all around the world just some software limitations.
Can we add a throttle like in the US version (S1, Z1 and OG)
Yep ^^ Except the Z I have my doubt to find the throttle in Europe

It's the Original S1 display for Europe. Enjoy your throttle then :)
Nice video! Got me excited with that EU hack.. Unfortunately it didn't work on my EU Super 73. You're sure that's the only thing you have to do? When you do that you aren't limited to 25kph anymore?
Hi McNulty, thanks for your comment and interest. No, it should work, I ask around and the one that tried told me it worked too. Make sure your battery is on the 1 position, then go to your EU controller and keep pressing maybe a bit longer both the on/off button and the menu button (for 5 second) (the screen will not light up, it will stay dark/off) and then start pedaling the engine will kick in to help you and you will go faster.
Ok, very interesting.. Will try again. Should I turn the display controller on first? Or do I just hold down the menu and on button while it is off and then power it on? Does the display work when you have enabled the hack or does it stay off? Also, what is your top speed after the hack? Thanks!
Ok, I actually got it to work! I was turning on the controller first, but it seems you just need to turn on the battery. I definitely feel more power/speed but the display remains off so I'll have to do some testing with an app to see what my top speed is now. My only concern is that it seems to power down after I am stopped for some time. Do you have the same issue?
the top speed is the same as the unlocked one in the us description which is 33-35 km/h
McNulty yes you will have to repeatedly press the on/off button and menu button every 8 min
What is the top speed with no pedaling is there a way to get to go faster
with the hack, you must pedal, with throttle you can go without pedalling and the top speed was 34 km/h for me
Thanks for the tip! It worked but it shuts of after a short while and you have to activate it again. Do you know how to avoid this from happening:)

@@MattEpicAdventures But the thing of shutting down after you stopped is quite good right? I mean if I am stopped by police, for speeding. I stop, turn my bike off, and on again and it springs out of the DFU mode and is back to normal again, that saves me a lot of money. :) Or am I thinking to criminal now?
Yeah I would do the same without feeling too criminal... ^^
But I France cops are not that into seed tickets for bikes ;)
Hey no I don’t think so because the « brain » will be different and has evolved, but in fact you don’t need it because by default the eu version will have a mode with full power on pedal assist go check out the first video on super 73 eu RUclips channel

Coucou, Désolé pour le délai de réponse ^^Tu trouveras une nouvelle vidéos parlant de la sortie 2020 de Super 73. Sinon c'est le Sg1et le freinage est bien si tu prend la version avec les freins hydraulique.
but once you do an unlock you can't use the headlight? also, rear lights don't work when you break? Am I correct?
Yes, that is correct, because the controller is not really on.
Did u already test how far you can go with a fully charged battery? I'm going to try it out tomorrow, 31 km x2 from Belgium to the Netherlands. I hope I can make the trip and not run out of battery while heading back home. Cause it would totally sucks if I have to pedal all the way home.
Hey this is exactly the topic of my last video ( in French ) and this week end I’m doing 360 km on 5 batteries. So for the small S batterie you can do 35 km on a single charge but you have to keep your speed at 20km/h and with the big battery SG you can do 60km on a single charge. But if you go slower or if you help even more by peddling you can do 80km.

@@MattEpicAdventures So, I made the trip today. I did 80 ish km on a fully charged battery. I've mostly used sport mode pedal assist. I did used the throttle for 3 km in total I think.
I might ask my mom for another battery so I can just throttle the shit out it instead of pedaling.

@@alohaemeli You have the US display with the throttle ? So that is very interesting, it means the pedaling is saving more energy than the throttle even with the highest mode. And the highest mode is getting you at more than 25 km/h if I remember correctly (I never use it :p). Yes please keep me posted on your experience. Actually, this is a nice trick but this enables the DFU mode (or maintenance mode), for a limited time, with no options, no display, and no limitations.

How come the headlights always pointed down on those bikes?
Haha yes the first version of the S1 had a lot of issues with that but now after 2 iterations they have a great bracket that wont let it point down, trial and error for a a final great result ;) and no more isues at all on the S2 and RX !
What’s the range with the super73 SG with 25km/h eu display?
SG is the biggest battery so it would 40km the small one is 30km
About the battery, I read a new one costs like 500 euros.

My Bike (super 73 s1) doenst get the 25 km/p top speed in cold tempratures, can you help mee?
Do you have the throttle ? The thing is that cold make the batteries weaker and the same way you can't get the max speed when you are at the end of your battery, the cold can emulate this situation during all the usage of it.
@@MattEpicAdventures I fully charged the battery and it still doenst work like the usual. I also kept my Bike in side, but no charges. I brought it to the repairshop. I hope they can fix it!!

What does the Eu Limitation Hack do?
It let you pedal assist at the max speed without limitation. You are in fact putting your controller in DFU mode so that the system is not booted with the limitations in place.
@@MattEpicAdventures so when you pedal, you drive on max speed every time you hit the pedal? you cant pedal slow , mid and fast? just fast??
Yes you can’t change the mode when in this hack

5 minutes then you repress the buttons and it’s back for the next 5 minutes

Great question : I am now with a super 73 RX and I am modding my S1 that still work perfectly.
I was so shocked he actually power washed his bike lol. Definitely do NOT do that. very bad idea
