As I said in your previous video Mode 4 can be unlocked without the throttle package by using an iPad or iPhone. Mode 3 does not unlock max speed, it is limited to 28mph. Mode 4 keeps the motor engaged as fast as you can keep pedalling.
Thanks for the comment. I cannot get to mode 4 in the app. When I select it, it just defaults back to 3. I have an Android phone but that should not make any difference. Any tips?
@@cei it does sadly, a bug with the app. Only saves in mode 4 in an iOS device. Can confirm from testing with my iPad and Android phone and also from others confirming in the EU Facebook group.
@@cei I just asked in the other video, but let me increase the chance asking here, I can unlock the 4 from my partner iphone but ill use the bike in android later, its the mode removed just pairing? or it will stay as soon as i dont enter in vehicle? Also, will it stay forever or get reseted when switching off ?
I can confirm I have an S2 in the UK with the latest firmware. With my ipone I can select mode4 (class 4) in the App and with Pedal Assist 4 can get around 32mph. Shouldn't default back to class 3 in App.
Hi. Thanks for all your videos on the super 73. They are all very informative and to the point which I like. Question. Is the maximum speed setting retained over a power down power up? I hope not! This would make it really easy to mask it as a legal bike if being pulled over

Thanks, I just set this on 4 with my iPad and it worked. Level 3 limitation is obviously a pretty basic flaw with the Android app. Thanks!
