I'm really hoping this will solve my problem. Mine also started out intermittent and ultimately ended up that the car won't start and all the lights, power windows, fans are not working. when I turn on the hazards, the front right and rear left flash but the others don't. This car has been such a hassle. Thanks for sharing your fix.
I understand. Some of these issues take some time tp solve. I was thinking this was going to wind up being a parts car. I will say keep at it , there is no better feeling than fixing a problem like this. I have been here many times and eventually the problem reveals itself. Thanks for sharing and I appreciate you watching.
I solved the exact same issue. Everything tested good all of the wiring as well. Finally traced it down to the wiring to the coil pack. I had peeled back each individual wire coating and found the copper to be heated and discolored. The wires bent and I could pull on them hard without breaking. But they didn't look right. So I pulled the pins, re wired the coil pack plug about 12 in worth to the pins, and added a battery ground to the head on coil ground point for good measure. It seems the signals were intermittently interrupted to the coils. Building up resistance to the point of failure. Those engines radiate a lot of heat and most of the wiring has no proper heat shield. Anyways hope this helps 😅
I’m having a nightmare with my 2014 Chevy Cruze. While visiting my wife’s family in Illinois it broke down on the highway on our way home during the night time hours. I had the vehicle towed to a local shop. They replaced the coil pack $725 and said it was fixed. I drove it home and felt as though it was going to stall out at one point. The very next day while driving it, it stalled out again. I had it towed back to the shop(had to pay a hefty tow bill that they originally said would be covered). Flash forward a month and they say the cars ready. They charged me almost $4000 for a new catalytic converter frnt&back. So I go to pick up the vehicle and on my way back it starts to stall. Not even halfway home I get stranded on the highway in a construction zone with no shoulder to pull off of because of barricades. The car gets towed back to the shop. By this point I am absolutely livid! The shop says they are going to have it towed to impound if I don’t come get it.. Well how the #%*! do you expect me to drive home the non working vehicle you charged me $4k for and said was fixed?! So I kept researching and felt like this might be electrical. I’m hoping a new wiring harness solves the problem because they have tried just about everything else
The Chevy Cruze has a known defect with negative battery cable. Where the cable gets crimped to post was not crimped properly and inside the core of the cable corrodes.Causes all kinds of electrical issues.

Sounds like a fuel issue. You can cycle the key on a few times to prime the injectors. If it starts more quickly , that could be the problem. Hope this helps.
